"Cam you almost ready?" Betty questions walking into her sister's bedroom that was right beside hers. The two bedrooms were practically identical the only difference was Betty's was light pink while Cami's was a light lavender.

"Just need to put on my lipstick," Cami tells Betty who looks at her seeing Cami sitting at her vanity putting on her neutral pink beige lipstick before standing up and showing Betty her light pink dress with white and purple flowers decorated on it.

"How do I look?" Cami questions her sister as she does a small twirl around making Betty smile at her.

"Gorgeous as always Cami! Archie is one lucky dude. I wish I was straight," Kevin says sticking his head into the bedroom making Cami and Betty share a look before the two begin laughing.

"He's right though. You look beautiful," Betty tells Cami who smiles at her walking to her little sister only by a few months. The two girls were known as Irish twins since they were just a week less than a year apart in age.

"So do you," Cami tells Betty as she puts a piece of hair behind Betty's ear that fell from her ponytail.

"I'll drive," Cami tells Betty smirking as she takes the keys.

"Hey! No! I want to get there alive!" Betty yells after her sister as Cami runs down the stairs laughing.

"Bye, Mom! Bye, Dad!" Cami yells blowing them a kiss as she races outside.

"Don't run in the house, Camilla!" Alice yells after her daughter shaking her head while Betty follows her sister.

"Good luck Betty. I'll say kind words at your funeral," Kevin tells Betty who shakes her head at him before seeing Cami in the car already connecting her phone to the Bluetooth to play music.

"If we die I'm haunting you," Betty tells Cami getting into the car and making Cami look towards her with a smile.

"You love me," Cami states as Getaway Car begins playing while Cami begins driving towards Pop's making Betty shake her head but turning up the song.

"It was the best of times, the worst of crimes," Cami sings making Betty laugh.

"I struck a match and blew your mind," Betty begins as Cami squeals smiling at her.

"But I didn't mean it, and you didn't see it," Cami sings as she throws her head back laughing making
Betty looks at her older sister shaking her head slightly.

Betty never knew how her older sister always looked so beautiful without any effort. How her blonde hair was always curled to perfection. Her white French manicured nails tapped the staring wheel with a soft smile on her lips that made her emerald green mixed with deep blue eyes shine with softness and kindness in them.

Camilla Cooper was someone who always drew people in easily. Her kindness and her perfection just made everyone stare. It was as if Cami demanded attention but not in a bad way.

It wasn't like she wanted attention it was just the way she was.

The hair.

The nails.

The dress.

The eyes.

The smile.

The body.

The perfect mixture of innocent and temptress.

All of it just drew you in and people got lost in it so it was no surprise that Camilla Cooper was a cheerleader.

Co-Captain of the Riverdale Vixens with Cheryl Blossom. The two clashed all the time but together they made the perfect team.

Cami was always the student body president and helped Mayor McCoy plan town events which is exactly what she's been doing the last few weeks planning the Back-to-School formal.

Her OCD and need for perfection made the events she plans spectacular but planning it was a nightmare for anyone involved.

It usually consisted of being yelled at the entire time for doing something wrong that Cami already told them to fix once before. Cami Cooper was someone who told people once not twice. She hated repeating herself.

"Are you excited?" Cami suddenly asks Betty snapping her out of her thoughts. Betty looks towards Cami who turned down the song and smiles at her softly as they were at the red light.

"What?" Betty asks confused making Cami shake her head at her.

"To see Archie, Betts," Cami states making Betty shake her head at that nickname. She hated that nickname but Cami loved to call her that and was the only person allowed to.

"Yeah, I haven't seen him all summer. But you haven't either are you excited?" Betty asks Cami who looks at her with a bright smile.

"I am. I've missed him," Cami tells her smiling as she thinks of her boyfriend for the last year. When the two got together it was no surprise to anyone.

The two were childhood best friends turned to crushes then, first kiss, first relationship, first time, and first loves. Cami was truly in love with Archie if only she knew he wasn't.

Parking the car at Pop's Cami and Betty get out of the vehicle and Cami begins smoothing her dress down before smiling at Betty as the two link arms walk towards the entrance.

"Hey Pop," Cami greets the elder man who smiles at her.

"Hey, Cami. I'll get started on your strawberry milkshake," Pop tells her making Cami smile at him brightly. Her obsession with strawberry milkshakes and Oreos might be just a little bit concerning.

"Thanks, Pop," Cami tells the man as she looks to see where Betty was and spots her sitting at a booth with a familiar red-haired boy.

"Arch!" Cami exclaims making the boy look towards her quickly. Cami squeals as she heads towards her boyfriend who gets up catching Cami who hugs him tightly.

Archie wraps his arms around her hugging her tightly but something felt off with this hug to Cami. But she ignored it. It was probably just due to not seeing each other for so long.

"Hello handsome," Cami says pulling back as she stares at Archie leaning in to see his lips but before she could Archie kisses her cheek.

"Hey Cami," Archie greets staring at his girlfriend with a look Cami couldn't identify but she brushed it off.

"Cami," Pop calls making Cami look toward him.
"I'll be right back," Cami tells Archie kissing his lips in a chaste kiss before heading towards the counter.

"Ugh Pop New York does not have Pop's milkshakes," Cami tells the man kissing his cheek with a bright smile making Pop laugh at the girl.

"It's good to have you back Cami. This summer wasn't the same without you here every day drinking a milkshake," Pop tells her making Cami smile at the elder man. Pop was practically the grandfather she never had.

The bell above Pop's front door suddenly jingles making Cami look towards the door as she takes a sip of her milkshake as a dark-haired beauty walks in wearing a cloak with the hood up.

Cami watches as she removes the hood of the cloak making eye contact with Cami who smiles at the girl. The girl then walks towards the counter.

"Hi, I called in an order. For Lodge?" The girl questions Pop who nods his head.

"Two burgers, yah, almost ready, but you got to wait," Pop tells the girl who nods as she looks around while she waits, but then her eyes land on Cami who waves at her making Veronica walks over to her.

"Hi," Cami greets her making Veronica smile at her.
"Hey," Veronica tells her as Cami offers her a seat.

"How are the onion rings here?" Veronica questions Cami who laughs at her.

"Amazing. Especially dipped in a milkshake. Which is mandatory at Pop's and for anyone new in town," Cami tells her jokingly making Veronica laugh at her.

"Can we get some onion rings, too, please? And a chocolate milkshake?" Veronica questions over her shoulder, to Pop.

"Yeah," Pop tells her smiling at Cami who smiles back at him.

"Thanks. My mom and I just moved here, so...," Veronica says making Cami nod her head.

"We'll let me be the first to welcome you to Riverdale. I'm Cami," Cami introduces herself as Veronica smiles at her.

"Veronica. Do you go to Riverdale?" Veronica asks Cami who nods as she stands up.

"Yes, I do. Come on I'll introduce you to my boyfriend and little sister," Cami tells Veronica as she interlocks her fingers with hers pulling her towards the booth the two were sitting in.

"Archie. Betty. Meet Veronica she's new in town and I already have her in love with Pop's milkshakes," Cami tells the two smiling brightly at the two who look at the two girls.

"Wait, are you--?" Veronica begins to ask Betty.
"-- supposed to give you your tour tomorrow? Yes, I'm your peer mentor," Betty says making Cami nod her head.

"I thought I recognized your name. I assigned Betty as your peer mentor," Cami tells Veronica who smiles at her.

"Do you want to join us? And maybe we can un-fill you with dread?" Archie asks Veronica as Cami nods her head at her.

"Yes, you should. We can calm your nerves about school. It's not as bad as you think...and if is I'll buy you a milkshake to make up for it," Cami tells Veronica who smiles.

"My mom's waiting for me. But...to be continued?" Veronica asks Cami who nods grabbing a napkin and grabbing a pen Pop left on the table.

"Of course. Here is my number in need of something or someone to just vent to," Cami tells Veronica handing her the napkin with her number on it along with her name with a heart above the i.

"Will do," Veronica tells Cami taking the napkin as she begins walking away. After she leaves cami looks at Betty and Archie with a bright smile.

"So what did I miss?" Cami asks the two who laugh at her slightly.

"Your ability to make friends so easily is a bit annoying," Betty tells her jokingly as Cami smiles at her shrugging.

"I'm just a nice person, Betts," Cami tells Betty winking at her as Betty shakes her head and Archie smiles at the two sisters.

Camilla is getting ready in her bedroom to head out to school dressed in a flower flowy dress with a red jacket over it while her mom is in her room giving her a lecture.

"This coming year is critical for colleges. Grades are important, extra-curricular--athletics--maintaining a decent character? Is hugely important, and they do look at that. And you need to make sure you do get that internship at the mayor's office. It would be a good recommendation letter for later on," Alice tells Cami who sits on her bed strapping her brown wedges on.

"I will Mom. I have an interview coming up soon," Cami informs Alice who nods walking towards her daughter and placing a piece of curled blonde hair behind Cami's ear.

"You've accomplished so much Camilla, I just don't want anything jeopardizing that. I mean, just think about your poor older sister. She was such a shining star before she let that Blossom boy ruin her--," Alice begins to rant making Cami place her hands on her mom's shoulders.

"Mom, I'm not Polly. And please not another "talk" I am already traumatized from the first three," Cami tells her mom in a joking manner as Alice stares at her.

"You need to focus on your future Camilla. Not anyone else's. And you missed curfew last night," Alice tells her daughter who nods her head knowing this was going to happen.

"I'm sorry. Betty and I were talking to Pop and got caught up. We didn't realize what time it was," Cami explains to her mom who nods her head at her as she takes Cami's hands in hers.

"Oh, I love you so much, Camilla. I just need you to be smart, okay? And stay focused," Alice tells her with a pointed look making Cami nod her head.

"And we refilled your Adderall, seems you forgot to pick up your prescription. Along with Betty," Alice tells her as she places the prescription bottle in her hand making Cami look down at it as Alice leaves the room with a smile.

Cami sighs as she realizes exactly what her mom was telling her. The message was perfectly clear: Cami. Must. Stay. Focused.

With that, she opened the bottle and takes one pill before grabbing her water bottle and swallowing it. Sighing Cami grabs her bag before heading out of her room and knocking on Betty's door.

"Leave in two minutes," Cami tells Betty walking down the stairs and towards the kitchen. Seeing her dad drinking his coffee Cami smiles softly before grabbing a cold water bottle out of the fridge.

"Bye Dad," Cami tells him as Hal looks up at her staring at Cami for a moment.

"Don't forget what we talked about Cami or what your mom said. Grade and college for priority. Nothing else," Hal tells his middle daughter who nods her head.

"Of course," Cami says softly before heading towards the door with her car keys in hand but instead of heading straight towards her car, she heads next door not even bothering knocking as she walks in.

"Vegas!" Cami exclaims laughing as the Labrador Retriever jumps on her.

"Vegas boy down. We talked about this," Fred stated shaking his head as Cami just scratches behind the dog's ears.

"He's fine. He's my favorite baby boy. Yes, you are," Cami states making Vegas bark as Fred shakes his head.

"I'm pretty sure he loves you more than us," Fred states as Cami pats her leg making Vegas sit down.

"That's not true," Cami says as she heads toward the man hugging him.

"Want some breakfast before school?" Fred questions Cami who shakes her head.

"I'm good. Betty's waiting on me just wanted to tell you two bye," Cami tells Fred who smiles at her.

"Have a good first day and don't push yourself too hard Cami. Life is about more than just grades and college. You don't want to wake up one day and realize you let the best days of your life pass you by," Fred tells Cami who nods before hugging him again tightly.

"I won't. Thanks, Fred," Cami whispers making Fred smile as he hugs her once again. Cami pulls back petting Vegas's head once more before heading towards the door.

"And Cami," Fred calls making her look towards him with a soft smile.

"You look beautiful as always," Fred tells her making Cami smile brightly at him.

"Thank you. And don't work too hard," Cami says pointing a finger at him while Fred laughs at her.

"I'll try not to," Fred tells her making Cami nod.
"That's all I can ask," Cami says as she waved at him exiting the door, and seeing Betty walking out of the house.

"Taylor or Harry this morning? Maybe Miley?" Cami questions Betty who jumps at her voice making Cami laugh at her.

"We already know who we will be listening to," Betty tells Cami as the two head toward the car.

"Taylor," the two sister says simultaneously as Cami hands Betty her phone to let her pick up the phone.

"Alright let's go," Cami says as Delicate begins to play making Cami smile at Betty brightly.

"I knew we were related," Cami tells Betty who shakes her head at her laughing.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Once the two get to the school Betty goes to find Veronica as Cami heads towards the gymnasium where they will be having an assembly regarding the dance due to the death of Jason Blossom.

"Is everything set up?" Cami questions placing her items on the bleachers.

"We just need to check the microphone," one of the students says making Cami nod as she walks to the podium tapping the microphone and hearing the feedback.

"Testing one two. Testing," Cami says softly hearing the sound echo around the room.

"Hey turn it up just a smidge," Cami says making the one in charge of the sound turn it up.

"Testing one two. Testing," Cami says as she nods her head just as the bell rings and everyone begins walking into the gym.

Cami walks as Kevin Veronica and Betty walk in making her smile at them as she waits for everyone to sit down and once they do, she steps up.

"Well everyone please quiet down," Cami says into the microphone as everyone looks towards her.

"Welcome back everyone. In case you do not know me. I'm Camilla Cooper student body president. This summer we lost one of your own. So if we could please have a moment of silence for Jason Blossom," Cami says stepping back slightly as the moment of silence takes place.

"Thank you. Now please welcome Cheryl Blossom onto the stage," Cami says stepping back as Cheryl walks towards the podium while Cami walks up the bleachers sitting beside Archie with a smile on her face.

"Thank you for that moment of silence. Many of you were lucky enough to have known my brother personally. Each and every one of you meant the world to Jason. I loved my brother. He was and always will be my soulmate -- so I speak with confidence only a twin could have. Jason wouldn't want us to spend the year mourning. Jason would want us to move on with our lives," Cheryl states as Cami looks around seeing everyone paying attention beside Jughead Jones at the very top of the bleachers with his laptop open in his lap.

"Which is why I've asked the school board not to cancel the Back-to-School semi-formal. But rather to let us use it as a way to heal, collectively, and celebrate my brother's too, too short life, thank you all," Cheryl says making the student body begin applauding Cheryl.

Archie stares down at the rows where teachers are sitting. A young female teacher, Ms. Grundy turns back and locks eyes with Archie as Cami watches confused seeing the look on Archie's face.

"Hey," Cami calls making Archie snap out of it and look towards her.

"Everything okay?" Cami questions making Archie nod his head.

"Yeah. Yeah. I'm okay," Archie tells her kissing her cheek making Cami lay her head on his shoulder paying attention to the rest of the assembly while Archie looks down at Cami guilty before looking back towards Ms. Grundy.

As the school day continues soon it was lunchtime and the students sat at picnic tables. Veronica's moving across the courtyard, searching for the perfect place to sit.

There are the Pussycats, the football players, including Reggie and Moose, and there's Betty, Dilton, with the nerds, and Cheryl, with her fellow cheerleaders, including ladies-in-waiting.

Veronica sighs, as someone walks towards her.
"Veronica! Hi," a voice says making Veronica look to see Cami making her sigh in relief.

"Sorry, I've been super busy. First day and all, but how are you settling in?" Cami asks her smiling softly.

"It's been alright. And of course, it's busy for you madam president," Veronica says smiling at Cami who rolls her eyes at her playfully.

"How are you president? Wait what grade are you in?" Veronica asks Cami as the two begin walking.

"I'm a sophomore but I'm supposed to be a junior. My parents held me back a year to be with Betty," Cami tells her as they arrive at the table where Betty, Kevin, and Archie are, sitting with Archie's open laptop. iTunes is open with one of Archie's songs playing.

"Hi, my lovelies! Vee is joining us," Cami tells the group as she sits down beside Archie kissing his cheek.

"What are we doing?" Veronica questions as she sits down.

"Listening to one of Archie's songs," Betty tells Veronica.

"I thought we were going to have to pretend to like it, but it's actually really good," Kevin says as Cami looks at her boyfriend.

"He's right handsome. From what I heard you sound amazing," Cami tells Archie smiling at him as Archie looks down at her.

"Thanks, Cam," Archie tells Cami who begins drinking her water and nibbling at her salad on her plate.

"Wait, that was you singing? Something you wrote?" Veronica questions genuinely impressed.

"It's rough," Archie tells her as Cami shakes her head.

"Do not doubt yourself, Arch. You sound amazing. Believe in yourself," Cami tells Archie who wraps his arm around her shoulders pulling Cami closer who tries to feed him some salad.

"You two are sickeningly cute," Veronica stares staring at the two.

"You've seen nothing yet," Kevin informs Veronica making Cami throw some fries from Archie's plate at Kevin who looks at her offended while Cami shrugs.

"So how's your first day going? Good?" Archie questions quickly changing the subject as he pulls away from Cami slightly.

"We-ell, not to be a complete narcissist, but I thought people would be more...," Veronica states trailing off.

"Obsessed with you? Any other year, you'd be trending Number One, for sure. This year, though, it's all about Cheryl trying to win the Best Supporting Psycho Oscar for her role as Riverdale's bereaved Red Widow," Kevin tells Veronica making Cami kick him under the table.

"Kevin! Cami exclaims shaking her head at the boy who shrugs at her just as Cheryl walks towards them. Which, for some reason, prompts Archie to stand up.

"Hey, I should go. I've got that meeting with Grundy and then football try-outs, soโ€”," Archie says getting up.

"--You play football, too? What don't you do?" Veronica questions as she looks at Cami who was watching Archie go confused.

No kiss goodbye.

They always had a small kiss goodbye. And as she thinks about it Cami realizes that Archie hasn't kissed her since her return but before she could think of anything else Cheryl suddenly arrives.

"--Veronica Lodge, I'd heard whisperings. I'm Cheryl Blossom, may I sit? Betty, would you mind?" Cheryl questions grandly as Betty slides over so Cheryl can sit right in front of Veronica.

"So, what are you three hens gossiping about? Archie's Efron-esque emergence from the chrysalis of puberty?" Cheryl questions looking over the group.

"--extracurriculars. Weatherbee wants me to sign up for a few," Veronica tells Cheryl making Cami look at her.

"You should become a River Vixen. I'm Captain-," Cami went to say more before being interrupted.

"Co-Captain Cami. We are co-captains," Cheryl tells Cami who smiles at her.

"I was just about to say that Cheryl," Cami tells Cheryl who puts a hand threw her hair to straighten it, and gives a dazzling smile.

"Is cheerleading still a thing?" Kevin questions making Cheryl glare at him.

"Is being the gay best friend still a thing?" Cheryl asks Kevin who immediately shuts up.

"Cheryl," Cami says in a warning tone shaking her head at the redhead who looks towards Veronica.

"Some people say it's retro, I say it's eternal and iconic--," Cheryl begins to say but is interrupted.

"--At Spence, I sat at the top of the Elites' pyramid, I'm in," Veronica says before looking at Betty.

"Betty, you're trying out, too," Veronica states not asking as Cami smiles brightly while Cheryl had a look that said not at all.

"...of course, anyone's welcome to try out, but Betty's already got so much on her plate right now, and being a Vixen is kind of a full-time thing. But, open to all," Cheryl says as she stands.

"Betty will be alright. She helps me practice all the time. They will both be there. I'll make sure of it. And don't forget co. Co-captains Cheryl," Cami tells Cheryl with a smirk as she begins drinking her water.

"Of course and Veronica follow me on Twitter and I'll do the same--my handle's @cherrybombshell," Cheryl says, and just as quickly as she appeared, Cheryl vanishes, off to terrorize goodness-knows-who next. Veronica turns back to Betty.

"Neither of you worry. If I'll sure you two make the team. I already know you both have the moves," Cami says getting up.

"I'll see you three later," Cami says walking off as she smiles and waves at some people who begin talking to her.

"Uh...," Veronica says staring at Cami making Kevin and Betty nod their heads knowing what she was thinking.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Walking into the gym Cami in her River Vixen cheerleading uniform looking confused seeing everyone already there and Veronica glaring at Cheryl while Betty was behind her.

"What the hell is going on here?" Cami questions making everyone look toward her.ย

"Nice of you to finally join us," Cheryl states with a fake smile looking at Cami.

"Finally? Tryouts are supposed to start in fifteen minutes. Who changed it without consulting with me first? Or informing me?" Cami questions walking towards Cheryl who looks at her.

"Oops. I thought I texted you," Cheryl says as Cami watches hers.

"Well since we are just making decisions without consulting the other first. Veronica Betty welcome to the River Vixens," Cami stares staring at Cheryl who went to object.

"My team as well. My decision. Unless you want to do a vote. Who do you think everyone will agree with?" Cami asks Cheryl raising an eyebrow.

"Welcome to the team. Nancy will show you your uniforms," Cheryl says as Cami smiles at her before turning to the two with bright smiles.

"Congratulations!" Cami exclaims rushing towards the two and hugging the two tightly who laughs at her hugging her back.

"You two will love it!" Cami tells the two who smile brightly at her.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Cami leans against the bleachers smiling at Archie who runs towards her dressed in his full football uniform.

"I don't think I will ever get over how hot you look like this," Cami tells Archie who laughs at her shaking his sweaty red hair.

"Can say the same thing regarding you,"ย  Archie stares making Cami raise an eyebrow at him with a smile on her lips.

"Such a charmer Arch," Cami says walking towards her as Archie shakes his head at her.

"I'll see you at 7?" Cami questions Archie who pauses before nodding his head.

"Yeah. Of course," Archie tells her nodding his head as the coach yells his name making Archie smile at Cami softly before running off.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

"And then I told her I was joining the team for me. And I was going to the dance and I didn't want to hear anything else," Betty tells Cami who smiles at her approvingly as the two walk down the road towards the formal.

Betty was dressed in a light pink dress while Cami was dressed in a dusty blue floral embroidery mesh Dress.

"I'm proud of you Betts. Really I am," Cami tells Betty who smiles at her as the two wait for Veronica and Archie.

"Sorry I'm late," Veronica says walking towards the two making Cami and Betty look at her seeing her in her dark dress.

"You look breathtaking," Cami and Betty tell Veronica who smiles at her.

"You both do as well," Veronica says as Cami looks down at her phone seeing it read 7:15 which Veronica and Betty notice.

"Why don't we all walk in?" Betty questions as Veronica nods.

"No you two go ahead. I'll wait for Archie," Cami says as Veronica shakes her head.

"Absolutely not. Betty and Kevin told me everything you did for this dance you need to enjoy this night. Not waiting for some guy," Veronica says linking her arm with Cami.

"But-," Cami went to protest but Veronica begins dragging her towards the doors as Betty links her arm with Cami smiling.

The two walk in seeing everything decorated for the Back-to-School Dance. Streamers, lights, and giants photo photo-portraits of Jason Blossom, hovering over everything.

"Cheryl's idea and I couldn't say no," Cami says as the two girls look around.

"It looks amazing," Betty tells Cami who smiles at her looking around the dance with a bright smile on her face.

"Now let's dance!" Veronica exclaims making Cami laugh shaking her head as she begins dancing on the dance floor with Betty and Veronica forgetting how she was practically stood up at the dance she planned.

The music then suddenly stops making everyone look towards the stage.ย ย

"Good evening, friends. Are you all having a good time?" Cheryl exclaims as she emcees on stage in an extravagant crimson gown making the crowd applaud and cheer.

"As honorary chairperson, and de-facto queen of tonight's semi-formal, it is my great pleasure to introduce this evening's main entertainment," Cheryl states making Veronica look towards Cami who shrugs.

"To know them is to be obsessed with them. Although they usually perform their own material, tonight they're making an exception and debuting a cover of the song my parents claim they were listening to the night Jason and I were conceived. This one's for you Jay-Jay," Cheryl says as she gestures to the crowd.

"I give you Josie and the Pussycats," Cheryl says making the crowd cheer and applaud as Cheryl cedes the stage to Josie, Melody, and Valerie.

"Mademoiselle...may I have this dance?" Kevin asks Cami who laughs at him placing her hand in his.

"Why the hell not," Cami says shrugging as Kevin laugh spinning her around and making Cami laugh loudly before the two begin dancing.

"Thanks, Kev," Cami tells him softly making him nod as Cami places her head on his shoulder.

"...I think-I don't know. Do you-?" Cami begins to ask making Kevin look down at her.

"I can't answer that for you Cami. You have to talk to Archie. But any guy who stands you up looking as beautiful as you do is an idiot," Kevin tells her making Cami laugh as he twirls her around before Betty and Veronica walk up to the two all three dancing as they laugh.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Waving at Kevin Betty and Cami walk toward the front of their house but pause seeing Archie sitting on the footsteps.

"Cami?" Betty questions making her look toward her.
"I'll be in a minute," Cami tells Betty who nods walking into the house and ignoring Archie.

"Cami I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to stand you up," Archie tells Cami who nods staring at him.

"What's going on Archie? I know you don't think I have but I have noticed something is going on. So just tell me. We can figure it out together," Cami tells him softly as Archie stares into her eyes.

And what happened this summer was on the tip of his tongue. What he did to her? He wanted to tell her so badly what happened but staring into those eyes Archie couldn't. He couldn't hurt her like that.

"It's nothing. Just between my dad, football, and my music. It's just too much and I've been stressed. I'm sorry," Archie tells Cami who nods looking at him.

"Okay," Cami tells him softly nodding her head.
"You look beautiful," Archie tells Cami who smiles at him.

"How about a Pop's date this weekend to make up for tonight?" Archie questions walking towards Cami who laughs nodding her head.

"Sure. But I want an Oreo and a strawberry milkshake," Cami tells Archie who nods.

"Deal," Archie tells her walking towards Cami and hugging her to him tightly. Once he stops looking at her does the smile on Cami's face disappear and tears well up in her eyes slightly making her take a deep breath pushing them down.

"Night Archie," Cami says walking around him and towards the front door as Archie watches her go.

Once inside Cami heads straight to her room and then sits down on at her vanity beginning to remove her makeup and only then does she let the tears fall silently.

Covering her mouth so no one hears anything letting out everything she's been feeling but pushed down.

Being Miss Perfect.ย

Wasn't as easy as everyone believed it was. She hated it. So much. And it was draining in every way someone could imagine and all Camilla Cooper wanted to do was stop.

For someone to see past the fake smile and happiness she put on every day.

But no one ever did.
