"Hello?" Betty questions into her phone
"Hello, Betty," a disguised voice speaks.

"This is the Black Hood speaking," he tells her making Betty stare wide-eyed.

"How...? How do I know this is real?" Betty questions not knowing what to think or what was happening.

"I will strike next where it all began," The Black Hood recites.

"Were you there? At the Town Hall?" Betty questions him wondering if the killer was there tonight.

"Oh, yes," he tells her.
"But you didn't hurt anyone?"ย  Betty questions him.

"Tonight was all about you," the Black Hood tells her.
"What do you want?" Betty questions standing up from her bed.

"The same as you. To set Riverdale on the righteous path again. To cleanse it of sinners. Isn't that what you want?" The Black Hood questions her as Betty sits down at her desk writing down key things the man was saying before she forgot it.

"Not by killing people," Betty tells him.
Only the ones who deserve it. People like your sisters," The Black Hood tells her making Betty break the pencil was she writing with as she pauses.

"I know about the sin she carries in her womb. I also know she's at a farm two hours north. I also know about the one I shot affliction with the Southside. And if you try to warn one of them, I'll know," The Black Hood states as Betty stands up and begins walking.

If you tell the police we've spoken or your mystery-loving boyfriend, I'll carve Polly like a jack-o'-lantern. And next time I won't miss Cami," The Black Hood tells her as Betty stares out her window.

"Please, don't hurt them," Betty begs him tears in her eyes as her bedroom door is opened.

"Who are you talking to? It's late," Alice questions Betty.

"Then don't you deny me," The Black Hood tells her before hanging up the phone.ย

"It's Jughead, wasn't it?" Alice questions her daughter as she dumps her laundry on the bed.

"Yeah," Betty tells her still in shock as she wipes her eyes slightly.

"I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Now he's living on the Southside amongst criminals and degenerates. He's showing his true colors. No doubt inspiring your stunt at Town Hall. Pulling the fire alarm?" Alice says as she begins folding close as Betty lays in her bed.

"I didn't know what else to do. Given the letter, the Black Hood sent," Betty says as she stares at her phone.

"If he even wrote it. Sheriff Keller says something seems off. He's gonna have it analyzed with the one I got. In the meantime, I want you and Cami home straight after school. Are we clear?" Alice questions Betty.

"Yeah. Sorry, Mom," Betty says nodding her head as Cami comes into the room.

"Well I thought it was badass Betts," Cami says as she lays down on the bed smiling at Betty although the smile disappears seeing the look in the girl's eyes.ย

Cami reaches her hand out to Betty grabbing her hand and making her jump and look towards Cami.

"Are you okay?" Cami mouths to Betty who looks at her nodding slightly with a tip lip smile.

"Don't encourage your sister, Camilla," Alice tells Cami hitting her leg with a pair of jeans making Cami look at her with a smile.

"Maybe just a little Mom," Cami tells her as Alice shakes her head but Cami looks towards Betty noticing how tense she is making her worried. Something was going on.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

The next door Cami was walking to school dressed in a white silk top along with a cardigan to keep warm and a pair of light high-waisted jeans and brown boots while reading her Mom's newest article regarding the Southside. How it was the root of all their problem.ย

When her phone begins to ring making her reach for it in her back pocket and answers without looking.

"Cami!" Veronica says excitedly.
"Veronica!" Cami tells her matching her excitement.

"So my old friend Nicky from New York is coming to visit and I want to introduce you to him! I think you two will get along!" Veronica tells Cami who laughs at her.

"Are you trying to set me up, Vee?" Cami questions her amused.

"Perhaps...just say yes," Veronica tells her making Cami shake her head.

"I'll meet him that's it," Cami tells Veronica who squeals.

"Yes! You'll love him! And I'll see you soon," Veronica says smiling happily.

"Bye Vee," Cami says hanging up while shaking her head and continuing to walk. She knew she could have driven but it was a pretty day so she walked.

At Southside High Jughead walks outside and sees the serpents together bending over a picnic table and looking at something as they all talk.

"Nice article your girlfriend's mom wrote," Sweet Pea says to the boy.

"I saw that. Dilton Doiley was stabbed and you jumped him?" Jughead questions looking at the group.

"The idiot stabbed himself with his own knife," Fangs tells him.ย

And we didn't jump him. There was a fight. Bulldogs versus Serpents. See this?" Sweet Pea questions pointing towards the bruise around his left eye that Cami cleaned up and put him on strict instructions to ice.

"Your boy Andrews gave it to me before his girlfriend shot a gun into the air," Sweet Pea tells Jughead who looks at him surprised.ย

"What happened?" Jughead questions confused.

"And, of course, Northsiders get off scot-free, the rest of us are hauled in by police. Would have spent all night in there if Cami didn't get us out," Sweet Pea tells Jughead still angry about what happened.

"It's payback time," Fangs tells Jughead.
"What are you guys talking about?" Jughead questions looking at the group before looking down at the table.ย

"What is...? What is that?" Jughead questions confused before turning wide eyed seeing everything.

"Is that a pipe bomb?" Jughead asks in disbelief looking towards Toni wide-eyed who just stares at him.

"Fogarty's cousin served in the Army. He's gonna build us something," Sweet Pea tells Jughead before looking at Fangs.

"We'll do it after hours. It'll shut the Riverdale Register down," Fangs tells him.ย ย

"You think blowing up a building will make things better?" Jughead questions him as if he was insane.

"Can't get any worse," Sweet Pea tells him standing to his full height.

"Yeah, Sweet Pea, it can," Jughead tells the boy.
"Let me talk to Archie, and figure this out," Jughead says trying to figure out a solution.ย

"Man, that's your answer for everything. Talk and more talk. And we don't know who you stand with. Us? Or them? You can't be half a Serpent," Sweet Pea tells Jughead done with the boy.

"Even Cami is more of a serpent than you are," Sweet Pea tells him making Jughead stare at him.

"And what would she say if she found out you were planning to blow up her family's business?" Jughead questions the boy knowing he hit something with that.

"Let's go," Sweet Pea says walking away as Jughead stares at him planning to call a certain blonde to stop Sweet Pea from doing something stupid.

"Great. So, Archie started World War III," Jughead states sitting beside Toni who looks at him.

"Northside has been dumping on us for years. Your dad tried to keep the peace. Avoid bloodshed. Now that he's gone, idiots like Sweet Pea think there's one path and solution. Violence," Toni tells Jughead who looks at her stress.

"Tell Cam he'll only listen to her," Toni tells Jughead as she gets up and walks away Jughead pulls his phone out calling the familiar blonde who answered on the second ring.

"Hey, Juggie! How are you? Do you still have enough food? I got some more to bring you. I'll probably bring it today or tomorrow," Cami tells him making Jughead smile slightly before it disappears.

"Hey Cam...I got to tell you something," Jughead says as he looks toward where the serpents are standing before explaining to Cami everything.ย

"Nick and I were the "will-they-or-won't-they" of our jet set. He's an outrageous flirt, but we never dated. We'd hop from club to club, go on these madcap adventures, stay up all night," Veronica tells Kevin and Cami as they sat in the student lounge.ย

Cami wanted to leave and go to Southside High to scream at Sweet Pea and Fangs but she was waiting on a phone call before that.

So in the meantime, she was listening to Veronica talk about her friend from New York who was coming for the SoDale open house as investors.

"Who's this now?" Archie questions as he and Betty walk towards them. Betty sitting on the arm of the couch beside Cami and Kevin while Archie sits beside Veronica in one of the armchairs.ย  ย

"Oh, Archiekins, don't be jelly. It's just a ghost from my bad-girl past, Nick St. Clair, breezing to town for the open house. You have nothing to worry about," Veronica tells him as she interlocks her hands with his.

"And I'm planning a little bit of matchmaking with Cami and Nicky," Veronica says making Cami shake her head at her.

"I like that idea," Kevin agrees making Cami glare at him as her phone begins to ring.

"Like I told Vee. No," Cami says pointing at Kevin as she gets up.

"I'll be right back," Cami says walking away as she answers the phone the four watching her go.

"Well, I like the idea. She needs to get laid. She seems too tense," Kevin tells Veronica who laughs at him as Betty stares at her sister.

Walking into the Blue and Gold newsroom Cami shuts the door as she waits for the phone to connect.

"You know I never thought someone could be summoned in jail," FP tells Cami who chuckles at that.

"I've been told I do the impossible," Cami tells him as she sits down at one of the desks.

"Trouble," FP says making Cami laugh slightly as she shakes her head.

"What's going on?" FP questions Cami who sighs at that leaning back in the chair.

"You're serpents making me want to pull my hair out. How did you rein them in?" Cami questions FP as she rubs the bridge of her nose.

"You need my advice on how to rein someone in. You're Camilla Cooper," FP tells her as Cami sighs waiting a moment to explain.

"It's different though. I don't want to step on someone's toes or something. I'm not a serpent," Cami explains to FP who listens to her.

"It might but not really. From what I've heard they listen to you. They respect you Cami. I saw it firsthand. So be Camilla Cooper. The girl who doesn't care whose toes she steps on as long as she gets what she wants," FP tells her making Cami smile.

"How in the world do you know exactly what to say?" Cami questions him in a teasing voice before smirking.

"So how's jail? Become anyone's bitch?" Cami questions FP who begins laughing as Cami spins in the chair.

"What?! It's an honest question," Cami says smiling brightly.

"No now goodbye Trouble," FP tells her as Cami smiles.

"Bye Jones," Cami says softly as she hangs up the phone still a smile on her face as she shakes her head.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Stepping out of her car Cami walks into the Wyrm spotting Sweet Pea and Fangs right away playing pool.

Not even greeting anyone Cami walks over to the two and slaps them both across the back of the head before grabbing their eyes and twisting them.

"Hey! Cami what the hell!" Sweet Pea and Fangs scream as the blonde scoffs.

"No, I just be asking what the hell! Like what the hell are you two planning involving a pipe bomb? Are you two fucking idiots? Do I really need to list the reasons why this is beyond idiotic?!" Cami yells at them as she glares making the two just stare at her.

"Sorry?" Fangs says it as a question as he whispers looking at Cami who scoffs at him.

"We weren't going to do it!" Sweet Pea tells Cami who twists his ear harder making him yell out.

"Okay! I'm sorry!" Sweet Pea tells the girl who glares at him.

"Good," Cami says as she releases the two boys before crossing her arms as they look down looking like two kicked puppies.

"No desserts for a month," Cami tells them as they look up at her wide-eyed.

"But that means Thanksgiving!" Fangs exclaims as Csmi shrugs.

"Should have thought your actions through," Cami tells them as someone walks into the bar behind Cami.

"I think this Northsider's lost," Sweet Pea says as he stands taller making Cami turn confused only to spot Jughead.

"I'm not. I'm over being half a Serpent," Jughead says making Fangs grab Cami pulling her over slightly as Sweet Pea walks closer to Jughead.

"Wow. You'll do anything to protect your Northside buddies," Sweet Pea states bumping his shoulder with Jughead as Cami rolls her eyes at the boy.

"My father was a Serpent. He led you. I wanna stand with you guys. Tall Boy was the one who gave me this jacket. It's finally time I start wearing it," Jughead says looking around the bar until his eyes connect with Tall Tall making Cami realize he was there just as Toni pulls her closer to her.

"So, now you wanna be a Serpent, huh?" Tall Boy questions walking closer to the boy.

"Let's see if you survive the initiation first," Tall Boy tells Jughead who looks past Tall Boy and sees Toni and Cami. Cami sighs but smiles at the boy nodding her head.

At the Cooper house, Betty sat on her bed with Archie in the chair across from her when her phone began to ring. The ringtone lollipop.

"Unknown," Betty tells Archie who stands up rushing m towards her sitting on the bed as Betty answers the phone.ย

"Hello?" Betty questions.
"Your mother's at work. And you're sister is gone," The Black Hood states.

"Yes, they are. My Mom and Dad are," Betty tells him.
"I know. I'm looking at them through a big-picture window. Are you alone?" The Black questions her as Betty looks at Archie who nods his head.

"I am," Betty responds to him.

"She's a thorn in our sides, your mother. We can't have her looming over us," The Black Hood tells the blonde.

"Wait, if you're suggesting...," Betty begins to say as she scrunchs her eyebrows together staring at Archie in disbelief.

"Check your e-mail. Publish what I've sent. Then I'll know you're loyal," The Black Hood tells Betty.

"I want something in return to prove your loyalty," Betty tells him as she stands up from her bed.

"How about...you do this for me, and then you get to ask me a question. And I have to answer. You have until tomorrow night," The Black Hood tells her before hanging up the phone as Betty stares at Archie.

The blonde then opens her computer pulling up her email to see what was sent to her. It was a picture of a news article.

The title reading: SOUTHSIDE TEEN ARRESTED AND RELEASED ON BAIL with a picture of Alice Smith mugshot.ย

"Oh, my God. Is that...?" Archie questions in disbelief.
"That's my mom," Cami says before looking at Archie in disbelief.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Cami was laying in her bed she wanted to go to the Wyrm to be there for Jughead during his initiation for she knew it was serpent members only. And even if they said she was an honorary serpent she didn't want to overstep.

But one thing she wasn't expecting was a text from Kevin with an article on the Blue and Gold with a question mark attached to it.

ALICE COOPER'S SERPENT PAST!

With wide eyes, Cami begins to read over everything in disbelief. Her Mom used to be a serpent? The same serpents she used to be?

With a scoff, the blonde got up and headed downstairs already hearing her Mom's voice.ย ย

"Who gave you this article? Because I know that I ripped it out of every public archive," Alice questions Betty. Cami walks in seeing Betty leaning against the fridge her Dad leaning against the island and her mom holding the newspaper article.

"Maybe it was one of the thousands of Southsiders you attack in your paper. I mean, really, Mom. You talk trash about FP, Jughead, and the Serpents when you yourself were one," Betty tells her Mom as Cami looks between the two.ย

"Why would you publish that?" Hal questions Betty as Cami looks at her sister wanting to know the same thing.

"Revenge. Plain and simple," Alice tells him as she rips the article in half.

"No, Mom. Not revenge. Justice. Against you and your holier-than-thou attitude," Betty tells Alice as Cami looks at her in disbelief.

"Betty, that is enough," Hal tells his daughter as Betty and Alice stare at each other.

"What the hell?" Cami mouths in disbelief trying to process everything that just happened as Betty walks out of the kitchen heading towards her room.

"I need some Oreos," Cami says nodding her head as she opens the pantry grabbing the Oreos and placing them on the island.

Cami grabs one before sliding the pack over to her Mom as she takes a bite.

"Does that make me a serpent by blood then?" Cami questions tilting her head slightly.

"No," Alice tells her sternly before leaving as Cami nods her head.

"Want some Oreos Dad? I think we might be the only normal ones in this house," Cami tells Hal who chuckles at her grabbing an Oreo.

"Me might be kiddo," Hal tells Cami kissing the top of her head as Cami smiles at him.

"Well, you're Mom didn't get dinner due to the news article so what do you want for dinner?" Hal questions Cami who laughs at him.

"Leftovers?" Cami shrugs making Hal nod.
"I'll warm them up and you go pick out a movie," Hal tells Cami who nods her head.

"Yes sir!" Cami says smiling brightly as she heads towards the living room as Hal opens the fridge to get the food.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

Later that night Betty stood in her bathroom pulling her hair up as Lollipop began ringing on her phone

"Hello?" Betty questions.

"How does it feel, Betty? Knocking your mother off her high horse?" The Black Hood questions her.

"We had a deal," Betty reminds him as she stares in the mirror.

"What's your question? And it can't be my name," the Black Hood tells her as Betty sighs turning around to lean against the bathroom sink.

"The face under the hood would I recognize it?" Betty questions him who waits a moment before answering.

"Yes," the Black Hood tells her making Betty take a deep breath as she tilts her head up.

"Do you feel closer to me now? I do. I feel as if we're friends. But I'm selfish, Betty. I don't like sharing you with other people. I need you to cut them out of your life, or I will my way," the Black Hood tells the blonde who sits down needing a second.

"Let's start with that daughter of a philanderer and an embezzler, complicit in her father's crimes," the Black Hood tells her.

"Veronica's not...she's innocent," Betty tells him.
"Oh, Betty. You don't really believe that" the Black Hood tells her before the line clicks and the phone call ends.

"Hey. You okay?" Cami questions appearing in the doorway making Betty jump.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine," Betty tells Cami who nods slightly looking at her.

"Need a sister sleepover tonight?" Cami questions Betty with a small smile on her looks at her.

"More than you know," Betty whispers to Cami who smiles at her opening her arms.

"Come on Betts," Cami says as Betty gets up heading towards Cami going straight into her arms Cami wraps her arms tightly around her.

Betty's entire tense body relaxes as Cami holds her. She felt okay right now in Cami's arms. For the first time since the Black Hood's letter was delivered, Betty felt safe and okay.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

The next morning Cami stood at her locker dressed in a leather brown skirt with a white top layered with a cropped blue sweater and lastly brown heels as she drank her coffee.

"Cami," Veronica's voice says making the girl turn to see Veronica with some guy Cami had never seen before so she was guessing this was Nick St. Clair

"Nicky this is Cami my my bestie and the best," Veronica tells the boy before smoking at Cami.

"Cami this is Nicky my friend from New York I told you about," Veronica introduced the two making Cami smile at the boy as she stuck her hands for him to shake.

"Nice to meet you, Nick," Cami tells him as he gives her a charming smile placing his hand in hers.

"The pleasure is all mine. Veronica has been raving about you, especially how beautiful you are. And I have to say she was not wrong in the slightest," Nick tells Cami as he raises her hand kissing her knuckles as Veronica smiles brightly at Cami.

"Nick here is having a little soirรฉe at his hotel tonight. Will you come?" Veronica questions Cami who went to object.

"I won't take no for an answer," Veronica tells Cami who rolls her eyes at her.

"I wouldn't miss it Vee," Cami tells her smiling at the raven-haired girl before looking at Nick who smiles at her.

"Perfect. I can't wait to get to know you better Cami," Nick tells the girl who nods at him smiling politely at him.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

At the Five Seasons, music plays in Nick's suite as Betty, Kevin, Cheryl, Archie, Veronica, Josie, and the Pussycats, Reggie and Cami listen to Nick talk.

Cami sat beside Veronica dressed in a pink two-piece dress her hair curled and a pair of black heels on.

"Then we walk into the Gilded Lily, and there's Gal again!" Nick exclaims as Veronica laughs slightly.

"Gal?" Archie questions confused.
"Gadot. Keep up, Archie," Cheryl tells Archie making Cami cover her mouth at that.

"Archiekins, a refill, s'il vous plait?" Veronica questions handing Archie her cup.

"Forget teetotaling. Let's move to something with more kick," Nick says as he sits beside Cheryl opening up his jacket to showcase Jingle-Jangle.

"Is that...?" Cheryl questions the boy.
"Jingle-Jangle? Why, yes, it is," Nick says smirking.

"I hooked him up," Reggie says proudly making Cami look at him with a glare. Reggie gulps at that as he looks down sipping his drink.

"Tasters? Who's up first?" Nick questions looking at the group.

"Dude, we told you, we're not-," Archie begins to say before Nick interrupts him.

"Archie don't take this the wrong way, but you are an epic buzzkill," Nick says laughing slightly but no one else does.

"Come on, Vee. Like back in the day," Nick says as Veronica chuckles slightly shaking her head.

"Aren't you supposed to be showing me a good time, per Daddy's orders?" Nick questions her making Cami scoff at him.

"Never heard of peer pressuring Nicky?" Cami questions scoffing at the boy who looks at her with a smirk as Veronica places her hand on top of Cami's calming her down.

"Down, Nicky. I'm just getting going. And now that you mention it, I, in fact, wouldn't mind a little sugar to spice up this party," Veronica says as she takes one from him and Cami looks at her in disbelief.

"What? Every other night it's burgers and milkshakes. Can't we just cut loose and pretend we're normal for once?" Veronica questions as Nick sits down next to Cami.

"I'm in," Cheryl says taking one.
"Me, too," Reggie says raising his hand.

"Kevin?" Veronica questions the boy who smiles clinking his glass with Cheryl.

"Pussycats, care to partake?" Nick questions the three who nods.

"Cami? Betty?" Veronica questions the two Cooper sisters.

"No, thanks," Betty says shaking her head.
"Come on. It'll be fun," Veronica tells the blonde.
"I said no, V," Betty says rudely.

"Okay, relax, Betty. This is strictly voluntary. Cami?" Veronica questions looking at the blonde.

"Can't. I'm still on medicine from the shooting. Not allowed to mix alcohol or drugs with it," Cami tells her shrugging as Veronica nods her head at her girl.

"Perhaps we should decamp to the bedroom, to not corrupt the country mice," Nick says to Veronica as he rubs Cami's back as Archie comes closer.

"I changed my mind. I'm in," Archie says coming closer and sitting between Cami and Nick once he notices the blonde uneasiness.

"Bravo, Archie Andrews! There's that good, strong Riverdale stock I've been jonesing for," Nick says smiling at the boy as Veronica chuckles slightly.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

An hour later most everyone was high beside Betty and Cami, but unlike Betty Cami was still having a good time. She was with Kevin and Cheryl. The three laughed as they danced together before sitting down laughing.

"Come on, Betty. Don't be such a wallflower. You're boyfriend-less for a night. Have some fun," Veronica tells Betty trying to pull her up but Betty wouldn't move.

"Like you, you mean? You're making a fool out of yourself, just acting like some privileged, shallow, airhead party girl," Betty says making Veronica scoff at her.

"Excuse me?" Veronica questions her as Cami looks towards the two girls.

"Yeah," Betty tells her as she stands up everyone knows stopping what they were doing to look at what was happening.

"I mean, it's all just recycled banter...and plunging necklines, and throwing shade to distract us all from the fact that nothing is going on underneath," Betty tells Veronica as Cami looks wide-eyed.

"Betty, what are you saying?" Archie questions the blonde.

"What we're all thinking," Betty says spreading her arms.

"That the only reason Veronica hangs out with us is circumstance. She's not our friend. The minute someone from her trashy past shows up, she starts using us for drugs, music, or distraction. And why should we be surprised? Like father, like daughter, right?" Betty questions as Cami stands up.

"You better shut it down, Betty," Veronica demands
crossing her arms.

"Or what, Veronica?" Betty questions walking close to the girl.

"You'll have your dad put a hit on me? Or maybe you'll do it yourself. Because you may have fooled all of them, but not me. Try to reform all you want, but you're a bad person, Veronica. You'll always be a bad person," Betty tells Veronica who stares at her for a moment.

"Why don't you go then, if I'm such a monster," Veronica tells Betty who looks at her and then leaves.

"Vee," Cami says softly.
"I'm fine. Obviously, she's not," Veronica tells Cami who sighs.

"Wanna go after her? Be my guest. I'll be damned if I'm chasing Betty down after that...whatever it was. In fact, Reggie? Turn the music up, will you?" Veronica questions the boy as Cami looks at her shaking her head.

"I got to go," Cami says grabbing her purse coat, and keys before leaving the suite and chasing after Betty worriedly.

"Betty!" Cami yells finding the girl outside walking the streets.

"What the hell was that? Are you okay? Talk to me Betts," Cami tells her sister placing her hand on Betty's shoulder.

"Just stop Cami," Betty tells her shaking her head as Cami stares at her.

"Stop what? Worrying about you? I'm your sister Betty I'm going to worry about you," Cami tells her sister as Betty stares at her.

"Stop trying so hard Cami. Maybe that's your problem. You try so hard that you're suffocating me Cami! You act as if you are just perfect and you're not. Maybe that's why Archie cheated on you. Maybe that's why everyone uses you for what they need and then when they get what they want they're done. Just leave me alone," Betty tells her as she walks away from the stunned Cami who just stands there tears in her eyes.

Cami takes a deep breath before wiping her tears away and looking at her sister worriedly.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

On a bench in the middle of nowhere, Betty sat on it sobbing slightly as Lollipop began ringing on the phone. Hesitantly the blonde answers it.

"I did it. But now I want my question. What will make you stop?" Betty questions him.

"You. As long as you continue showing me your devotion," the Black Hood tells Betty.

"I can't keep doing this," Betty tells her crying slightly.
"Sure you can. Jughead, the son of a Serpent," the Black Hood yells as Betty shakes her head.

"No," Betty whispers to him.

"He's not worthy of your love. Cut him out of your life...or I will," the Black Hood tells Betty.

"And your sister Betty," the Black Hood says making her sobbing as she looks up.

"Good job. But to cut her out completely I need you to show your mother what is in her closet inside her suitcase," the Black Hood tells Betty.

"Please no," Betty begs him.
"Do it Betty or next time she won't get up," the Black Hood tells her before the line clicks.

Betty sits at the park bench and places her head in her hands sobbing slightly.

Cami.

She had to hurt Cami.

โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”โ”

The next day Cami stood in her room putting her earrings before she left to go to SoDale's open house. The blonde was already dressed with her blonde hair curled but pinned up and a full face of makeup when her bedroom door was thrown open.

"Camilla Cooper, why the hell is there a serpent jacket in your closet?" Alice exclaims throwing the serpent jacket on Cami's bed who looks at it in disbelief.

"How did you-?" Cami trails off questioning wide-eyed before gulping slightly. She knew she hid it well from her mother. There's no way she could have found it.

"You're sister. Now tell me why you have a serpent jacket?! What are you even doing around them?! And do not say you've done that dance because if you have Camilla Ann Cooper I swear to you I will have you shipped to the sisters before you can even blink," Alice says glaring at her daughter with arms crossed as Cami stares at her.

"You can't be serious?! You would ship me off just for that! You lost one daughter because of that you are willing to lose another! The only one who has stuck up for you Mom! Listened to you!" Cami exclaims as she throws her hands in the air.

"Answer the questions Camilla," Alice demands the blonde who turns to her with a scoff.

"I met them when I got drunk at the Wyrm Mom after the whole Archie thing and they made sure I was safe! And I'm not a freaking serpent! I was given the jacket for protection that's it," Cami tells her angrily.

"You aren't just given one of those jackets Cami. You either have to be a serpent or you're under their protecting Camilla! Whose jacket is it?" Alice asks her daughter.

"I don't know whose jacket it is Mom! I was just given it," Cami says running a hand down her face.

"I don't want you around them anymore Camilla. I forbid it," Alice tells her daughter who looks up with a raised eyebrow.

"Forbid it? What century are we in Mom?" Cami questions her mom in disbelief.

"Do you not understand? The reason you were shot was for being a betrayer. This is why! Your connection to those Southsides got you shot. So yes I forbid it. And no going today. You're grounded," Alice says as she grabs the serpent jacket and then Cami's phone before she begins to leave the room.

"You're just a hypocrite, Mom," Cami says scoffing as Alice slams her bedroom door closed while Cami sits on her bed wondering why Betty would do this.

Everything that Betty was doing wasn't her sister. Something was going on and Cami was going to find out. But first, she was going to get back in her pajamas since she couldn't leave her house.
