𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽, your eyes were droopy, and your body was a bit sore from that awful experience eating that spark demon. The taste of a fiery flavor still laid in your throat. 

"Wow! Only Sonic the hedgehog could win a dance battle that epic!"

   Tails cheered, you look beside him with a confused face. 

'Seems like I've missed a lot.'

"Well, stick with me pal, earth can be a scary place but I know everything about this old pale blue dot."

   Sonic reassured him, you raised a brow at that statement.

"Do you really mean that?"

   Tails sat up looking down at Sonic with a warmly look, you stare at Sonic then back at Tails watching their conversation unfold.

"I mean, not everything, but I watch a LOT of Discovery channel and–"

"I meant about,.. Me being your pal?"

   Sonic sits up too with a soft smile. 

"Of course buddy."

   Was it you or was his soft look made you a bit fuzzy, warm, comforting like a soft blanket that was thrown on your head. Your droopy eyes did widen a bit, what made your heart warm up more was when Tails hugged Sonic. 

'Gahhhh'

   Your voice screams in your head... Cuteness omg.

"Woah! Hoho! Comin' in hot!"

   He gently places Tails away from the hug. Tails smiled for a bit but then frowns, this made you perk up as you listen. And watched.

"Growing up, I didn't have any friends,.. Everyone in my village thought my two tails were weird."

"Hey, I know that feeling."

   You turn away as you clutch your arms that you've wrapped around yourself.

'How could those people make such a young boy feel out of place...'

"But then I saw you, the fastest creature in the galaxy!"

"Huh, well I guess I'm the second fastest."

   You muttered.

"You were weird too, but you were a legend. That made me think, maybe being weird isn't so bad."

   Tails looks at Sonic, from what you can see of Sonic, he seems very honored and happy of someone praising him and even calling him a legend.

   You look at your hands seeing a small spark that popped on your finger tips. 

'Improve my powers....'

"—And Y/n."

   You quickly sat up with a stiff panicking look.

"I-I'm awake."

   Both Tails and Sonic chuckle at you, making your embarrassment show by your quills and fur slightly poofing up.

"I just want to say, thank you so far. You've made me feel comfortable here, when I apologize for talking too much you let talk more. Kids at my village too say I talk too much that it's annoying, I just didn't want to be annoying to you–"

"Nonsense."

   This made Tails paused as he sees you frowning softly. 

"I rather hear people voices and let them talk for hours to let everything out, I love listening about your home planet, even though your village doesn't sound very pleasant like your planet."

   You place a hand on his shoulder with this face '>:(' as you spoke this sentence.

"You shouldn't let negative things that your village said to you to keep you from expressing yourself more!"

   You huffed then brought the fox boy in a hug, he melt into that hug, he never felt warmth ever since he was a young pup. He enjoyed this moment, he enjoyed your words it almost brought a tear in his eye.

"Thanks Y/n..."

   Sonic,... Well.

   He was in awestruck, his eyes widen as a soft blush was on his cheeks, oh man he has fallen deeper in the rabbit hole, how you were gently, soft and encouraging to Tails made his speedy heart beat more faster and faster than he can when he runs. I'm 

   He grips his fist staring at Tails with a bit of a bitter taste but he moves on knowing that the fox boy deserves another hug. 

   You and Tails pull apart. 

"I'm really glad you're here, Tails."

"I'm glad I'm here too, Sonic."

"And you too Y/n"

   You perk up as you look at Sonic, your lips struggled to show a facial expression. But nodded with a hum.

"I'm happy to meet you guys."

   You guys hopped off the table but you almost fell down, you grumble by your sore state. You've recognize their drowsy states, even Tails.

"*Yawwn* Well, might as well get some sleep."

   He grabs ahold of a blanket taking it off the chair.

"This feels like a good place to spend the night, you'll be able to get clear readings on your gizmo thing once the storm is over, so I—..."

   He turns around to Tails, fast asleep letting out soft snores. You sat beside him as you pet his head, Sonic smiles at the sight and walks towards you. You look at him then away back at Tails.

   He sat beside you embracing the warm heat from the fire. He wasn't sure what to do or say. He fiddles with the blanket feeling his face getting warm by a thought... 

"Sonic do you think I broke my fist?"

"Huh!"

"I-I mean about our promises,... I basically left you and Tails stranded."

   He looks at you on the side to see a sad look on your face, you had a frown as your ears droop down.

"I promised to help and protect you guys... But I failed that (卂ᧁልጎ几), for my stupid reasons I-I,.. I'm sorry."

   You lower your head more avoiding eye contact, Sonic soften his face as he places a hand on your shoulder.

"Hey, dude no worries it's not your fault plus Tails fast thinking saved us! But I am wondering where ya went to."

  You hesitated if you should tell him or naw, but you took a deep breath in and looked right at him.

"I don't like loud noises, they startled me..."

   You wince at your lie. But Sonic was too spaced out to answer back because....

"Erm, Sonic? Are you mad at me?"

"E-EH!? Oh n-no I'm not why would I be, I mean I would be scared of loud noises too! Hehehhah,.."

   He stuttered letting his flustered mess get the best of him, his quills fluffed up as he looks away. His face felt hot, he's sweating nervously that even the heat from the fire didn't helped. He fiddles with the blanket in his grasp as he stares away from you. You raised a brow feeling like you did something wrong.

   You shrugged it off though, feeling tired you nudge Sonic. Who looks back at you very fast.

"We should sleep now,... It'll be a rough day tomorrow."

   You lay down next to Tails as you faced towards his back, you were careful to not hurt his tails. Sonic deadpans when he heard you snoring already. He sighs and places the blanket into of you and Tails. He faces away from you, it made him feel calm hearing your snores and soft breathing, but his mind flashed to where both of you. Were REALLY CLOSE!

   He become flustered again. He knows this feeling, the way you make him feel, you don't even know how you've affected him! Your features makes him gaze, your curiosity makes him giggle, how gentle and encouraging you are! Even though you don't express your face often, he felt like he can still tell how you're feeling. How you are very apologetic too makes his stomach turn upside down like he was held up by his ankles...

   He closes his eyes, slowly letting the darkness take him. But swears to those stars.

   He'll make sure you'll have a great time on earth before you leave.

   Tails's tails flopped on you guys, you and Sonic. Making you feel warm...
