π π«ππ§πππ¬ππ πππ«ππ’π«π knew that since her cousin πΓΉπππ§ πππ―ππ¬ introduced her to his teammates something was going to happen,
She didn't know if it was when Pedro Neto walked up to them or if it was when he started talking,
But Francesca had been in love with him since the moment she practically laid eyes on him,
But that was four months ago and with them going out together often as just friends she was starting to lose hope that anything would more happen to the two of them.
"Hey," Pedro sent the girl a smile as she was picking him up from training as the older boy had managed to damage all of his car's tires leaving it in the shop for a few days.
"How was training?" Francesca asked as she turned a light shade of pink when his hand accidentally brushed against her thigh.
"It was really nice, RaΓΊl came to see us." RaΓΊl JimΓ©nez had been out after an awful collision with an Arsenal player leaving the Mexican with a fractured skull.
"That's really good," despite the fact that the girl had her concerns about him coming back quickly at the end of the day she knew that everyone at the club had his best interests at heart.
"Should we go to the park, it's a gorgeous day?" She added seeing that the sun was about to start setting and they were only a minute or so away from a park nearby.
"Yeah sure," the footballer wanted to go into panic mode until he smiled,
The gorgeous park was probably the best place to ask the girl what he wanted to.
"Don't look at me like that," Francesca was focusing on the road but she could feel Pedro looking at her,
"I'm not looking at you in a bad way if that it what you are implying." Pedro could slowly see the girl turn a darker shade of red causing him to smile again,
He thought she looked cute when she got flustered.
"It's weird," the girl mumbled as she tapped the steering wheel to the soft sounds of Ed Sheeran that she had on the radio playing in the background.
"How is it weird?" The footballer cocked his head as he crossed his arms,
"We're here." Francesca was able to quickly change the subject when she saw that the park was empty,
The reason she didn't like Pedro looking at her the way he always did was that she would get these butterflies in her belly leading to false hope and she wasn't prepared for that anymore.
"You still got the blankets in the back?" Pedro asked curiously as he shut his car door,
"Of course," the girl was known for getting cold so she always had two blankets in the back of her car that she lived with at this point.
"So are you prepared for University?" The footballer was a bit disappointed that he wasn't going to be able to see the girl as often but she was following her dreams,
"Yeah, I think so," Francesca wanted to go back to school because she wanted to further her studies,
But also because she needed to take her mind off of other things.
"I'm going to miss you being around," Pedro confessed with a sigh as he picked at the grass as they sat down,
"I'm not leaving the city," the girl spoke in a duh tone as she wondered why he was getting all emotional.
"I know," the footballer nodded as he looked at her again,
"It would take a lot more than school to get me to leave," Francesca explained with a smile on her face,
"I'm glad," Pedro sent her a nod as he replicated her smile.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" The girl let out a groan as she realised that he was going it again.
"Like what?" The footballer shrugged as he honestly didn't know what she was going on about,
"Those eyes," Francesca motioned to his eyes as she chewed the inside of her cheek,
They were close together.
"I'm just looking at how beautiful you are," Pedro confessed in a mumble,
"No Pedro that was too cheesy even for you," the girl let out a laugh as she shook her head,
"So now you're laughing?" The footballer asked as he watched her lay on her side as she was laughing so much,
"Yep," Francesca managed to only get one word out through her laugh.
"You're unbelievable," Pedro pinched the bridge of his nose as he couldn't believe it.
"No wait Pedro," the girl quickly stopped laughing as she saw him move,
She assumed he was about to get up and leave.
"Whose to say that I like you after you laughed at me." The footballer sent the girl a playful glare,
"If that's the case then seriously grow up." Francesca shot back in a duh tone missing his joke,
"I do like you, all jokes aside." She added as she blushed hoping that it would go well.
"Good because I like you too." He smiled as he brushed her hair out of her face before placing his hand on her cheek and pulling her in for a kiss.
