seventy three | narration
"renjun what the fuck do you—oh," dahye stopped on her tracks upon realizing that renjun wasn't alone. he was with a girl and they were seated next to each other.
"hello," the girl smiled. "you must be dahye." she extended her hand and dahye didn't know if she'll accept it or not. "i'm hana. renjun told me lots of things about you." she smiled.
dahye awkwardly smiled and shook her hand as she sat across renjun. she couldn't talk or curse at renjun for making her go to that place because she feels out of place.
"why did you ask me to go here?" she asked carefully, thinking that she may not be able to curse at him tonight because his girlfriend is watching.
and dahye wanted to cry. she and renjun only reconciled lately, and now she wanted to curse at herself for forgiving him and moving on quickly as if he didn't hurt her at all.
her hands were clenched under the table and she wanted to get out of there quickly.
before renjun could speak, the door opened and dahye couldn't be more relieved.
"dahye?"
"hyunjoon!" she said—almost too enthusiastically. and dahye misses the look on renjun's face.
"hyunjoon-ah, meet renjun and hana," dahye smiled and introduced the two. she stood up and went towards her friend and looked at the two, "renjun, i remembered that i have to accompany hyunjoon somewhere..." she faked a smile and hoped that renjun would buy her reason. "take care! it was nice to meet you too, hana-ssi."
"o-okay... take care, dahye..." renjun said as he watched the two exit the coffee shop.
