A loud bang went off, shaking the earth slightly not even five minutes later.
The Mikaelsons were waiting somewhat patiently in her living room when it went off and they immediately ran down only to see Mia ducking behind a small brick fence while her car went up in flames.
The girl had a small hologram floating above her wrist which showed the picture of a man which only Klaus recognized.
Tony fucking Stark.
Both Mia and Tony were laughing as they watched the scene, neither noticing the vampires exit the building.
As the fire slowly cleared, Mia walked over before helping Thor up. "Told you I'd get you out, buddy."
The god coughed slightly before pulling her into a hug, "I had no doubt, little mortal!"
"Did any shrapnel get in you?" She asked as he set her back down, his body towering over hers.
"Shrapnel? Is that a new flavour of pop tart?"
"It's metal, Point Break," They heard Tony say through the small hologram.
"Man of Iron! How did you get stuck in such a small device?" The god asked as he held up Mia's wrist as he examined the hologram.
Tony rolled his eyes, "It's too early for this. Bye, kid."
"Bye, Tones. Don't forget to buy me a new car," Mia told him before hanging up the call.
"Love?" She heard a soft British voice say from behind her.
Mia sighed, they had probably heard the bomb go off. She slowly turned around, a small smile on her face, "Hey..."
The three Mikaelsons continued to stare at her and the god.
"Did you uh, did you blow up your car?" Kol asked after a few seconds of silence.
Mia shrugged, "Thor was stuck and I didn't have enough butter to get him out."
Thor grinned as he glanced down at Mia, "These are the young vampires?"
"I wouldn't say young, but yeah," She told him, causing him to chuckle, "They are only a mere 1000 years old."
Rebekah stared at the long-haired man in confusion, "I'm sorry, who are you again?"
"I am Thor, god of thunder! It is a pleasure to meet you, first vampire."
Their eyes widened. They thought Mia and Klaus were joking when they said she knew Thor. And yet, here she was, standing beside him after she blew him up.
It was safe to say Kol and Rebekah were confused.
Mia sighed, "Kol, Rebekah, Nik, meet my co-worker, Thor. Thor, meet Kol, Rebekah, and Klaus Mikaelson."
Thor smiled brightly at the vampires who still stared at him with confused looks.
"Where is your shoebox?" Thor asked suddenly causing Mia to roll her eyes as she led him past the three vampires, "It's not a shoebox, Thor."
"Do you have any pop tarts?" He asked as they walked into her apartment.
Before she could answer, he had ransacked all of her cupboards before stuffing his face into the single box of pop tarts she owned.
She stood against a wall, watching as the god ate while Kol moved closer to her.
"How exactly do you know a god?" He asked softly as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"I work with him," She told him nonchalantly as she leaned into his side.
"I thought you worked at the high school."
"That's only my part time job," She teased.
He smirked as he leaned down closer to her ear, "So many secrets. So much to unravel."
Mia blushed brightly as she kept her eyes on Thor who hadn't heard a single word in his pop tart infused state.
It appeared Klaus and Rebekah hadn't heard it either as they watched the god stuff five pop tarts into his face all in one go.
His smirk widened when he noticed her face had gone red. "You're so pretty when you blush, darling."
Mia rolled her eyes, "Shut up, Kol."
"Woman of Widows?" Thor yelled excitedly as he stared at her.
"Yes, Thor?"
Kol and Rebekah didn't fully understand why Thor called her 'Woman of Widows.' Klaus didn't understand it either, though he assumed it was something to do with her name being 'White Widow.'
"Heimdall says he misses you! So does Lady Sif. They wish to know when you will join me in Asgard again."
Mia shrugged as she slipped out of Kol's hold, "I don't know, big guy. You should ask Steve and Nat when I'm free next."
Thor smiled brightly, "I shall ask them tonight!"
The blonde girl frowned, "Leaving so soon?"
The god placed his hands on her shoulders, "I will be back, dear child. However, this visit is a goodbye as I must go back to Asgard soon."
"Why?"
Thor was like a big brother to her. She had only known him for four years, but since then, he had always protected her.
"My father is ill. It is time Loki and I take over."
The Mikaelsons had left the room by then. They could tell this was a private conversation from the way her voice had cracked.
Klaus had never seen her look so fragile.
"Loki's leaving too?"
"I'm afraid so. We will be back, young Mia. We would never leave you for too long."
The Avengers all knew Mia had abandonment issues. It all started before the Red Room.
She was never good at making friends, if anything she was tossed around friend groups, the unlucky ones having to deal with her for a few weeks before she was tossed once more.
When her dad left, it only made it worse. She felt like it was her fault. Her mother didn't make it any better.
And then her mother left her.
The only people she had in her small life had left her.
Thor sighed as he pulled her into one of his bear hugs, "I will miss you dearly."
Mia didn't say anything. She didn't have to. They both knew she would miss him.

The god had left not long after their goodbye. Now, Mia sat on her couch as the three Originals surrounded her.
They had all silently chosen not to talk about the gods' disappearance. They could easily tell Mia was upset by it.
"Elijah isn't in Paris, is he?" Mia asked as she fiddled with one of her golden rings.
The hybrid beside her looked at her nervously, "No. No, he isn't."
"Why did you dagger him?" She asked, feeling stupid. She couldn't believe she hadn't realized her new friend had been daggered.
"He was trying to kill me."
"I helped on that too. Why is he dead when I'm not?"
"You're special."
Mia frowned, her eyes moving to Kol and Rebekah before staring at the hybrid, "Shouldn't he be more important? He's family."
They didn't answer. Of course they didn't.
"Придурки," She trailed off.
(dickheads)
Kol smirked, "Are you calling me pretty in another language, darling?"
The Avenger grinned, "You'll never know."

"Where are we going, Mommy?" A six year old Mia asked as her mother led her towards an Air Strip in Cuba.
Multiple men in military uniforms were walking around the strip, but one man stood out.
He was wearing a blue and black striped windbreaker with golden chains decorating his neck and fingers.
He smiled as he walked towards them and pulled Anya Rutherford into a hug, "So you return."
Anya smiled as she patted the man's shoulder, "Please- Please I beg you. No more undercover work. I want to get back in action. General Dreykov, it's been over six years."
"Did you get it?" The man, Mia now knew as Dreykov, asked.
Ayna smiled as she pulled out a small tape from her jacket pocket.
"And the North Institute?"
"Ashes," Anya responded.
Mia frowned at her mother's voice. It was no longer American, instead, it sounded like one of the characters on her favourite tv show.
"Mommy?" Mia asked as a man pulled her away. "Mommy!" She yelled once more as the man held onto her small waist, tugging her small body away.
"Get away from her!" Another voice yelled as they kicked the guard before stealing his gun and pointing it at him.
The young girl who had blue hair with red roots held Mia against her back as she pointed the gun at the guards. "Don't touch her! I will shoot!"
"Honey," Another man said. He wasn't wearing a uniform, instead, he was wearing normal clothing.
The girl stared at him as tears streamed down her face.
"You need to hand me that gun."
"I don't want to go back there. I want to stay in Ohio. You can't take us- she's just a kid."
"You were even younger," The man told her as he walked towards them, Anya following behind him as he took the gun from the blue-haired girl's hand.
"It's okay. Come here."
Anya took Mia out of the girl's arms and into her own, "You be good for them, okay?"
Mia nodded as she wiped away her stray tears, "Where are you going?"
"That isn't important. Natasha will take care of you. Stay with her."
Guards slowly approached them once more before stabbing needles into their necks. The two girls passed out in a matter of seconds.
"They have fire," Dreykov noted as Anya and Alexie moved toward him. "What were their names?"
"Natasha," Alexie answered before Anya spoke up, "Mia."
Mia sobbed as she held onto Natasha's body as they were shoved into a crate filled with other young girls.
And then the door shut and they were consumed in darkness.

Mia woke up screaming once more. It had been like this for two weeks. Or at least ever since Nik left to make more hybrids.
A few days before he had left though, she had convinced him to wake up Elijah.
She had seen the siblings almost every day whether it be at the high school or at her apartment, they were always there. It was like they were afraid to leave her alone longer than a couple of hours.
Mia didn't understand their clinginess. Even Peter, who was the clingiest person she knew, wasn't as bad as them.
She had come clean about her identity to them after a few days. It was weird, she trusted them the second she met them.
She kind of had to tell them though when they showed up at her apartment and she was sporting three stab wounds and multiple bruises.
It was a bit of a shock when they walked inside and saw her covered in blood. She hadn't even been in shock, if anything she was scolding herself for being stupid enough to let her guard down.
Rebekah had been the one to heal her. Even though Mia argued that she could stitch herself up fine, the vampires felt more comfortable with her being healed.
They didn't necessarily trust her ability to be a doctor.
After that, she explained half of her truth.
She told them she worked for an organization called the Avengers and worked to save the world.
She left out the Red Room part. If they wanted to know though, they could easily search it up on the internet.
Ever since she began working with the team, people had come up with theories as to who she was. She was faceless to the public which only made them more curious.
It was, however, public knowledge that she went through the same 'schooling' as the great Black Widow. It was obvious really, they both fought with the same techniques and the accents were a dead giveaway.
"Would you like me to inform Mr. Stark about your nightmare?" Friday's voice asked as Mia walked into her kitchen to get a glass of water.
"No. I'm fine, Friday."
"Your vitals say otherwise, Ms. Rutherford. You are at risk of a panic attack."
Mia breathed out deeply as she moved to sit on the kitchen floor, focusing on the coolness of the tiles, "I said I'm fine."
"Very well. Would you like to go over breathing techniques instead? Mr. Stark recommends the 5,4,3,2,1 method."
The Avenger breathed in deeply as she held Kol's shirt closer to her body. He had left it at her house one day after he had gotten it wet. Apparently, modern day taps hated him. His words, not hers.
The scent of his cologne calmed her heart rate as she pressed her nose into the fabric.
"Your heart rate is back to normal," Friday told her not even 15 seconds later. "It is recommended that you talk to someone about your dreams. May I suggest Ms. Romanoff or Mr. Barnes?"
Mia sighed as she stood up, leaning against the cupboards as she slowly sipped on her water. "I'll think about it."
