"Alright, the gloves ready," Said Rocket as he and Tony stared down at the iron hand with the six infinity stones inside, "Question is, who's gonna snap their freaking fingers?"

Klaus stood up, "I'll do it."

His siblings looked at him, "Excuse me?"

"It's okay."

"No, no, no, whoa. Stop. Stop. Wait a sec. Hey, hey–" Tony told him as he stopped him from taking the glove.

Steve placed a hand on Klaus's chest, "Wait, wait, Klaus, just wait. We haven't decided who's gonna put that on yet."

"I'm sorry. What, we're just sitting around waiting for the right opportunity?"

"We should at least discuss it."

"No, no, sitting here staring at that thing is not gonna bring everybody back. I'm the immortal hybrid, okay? So this responsibility falls upon me. It's my duty.

"It's not about that–"

"It's not that– Stop it! Just let me-" His eyes filled with tears, "Just let me do it. Just let me do something good. Something right. Let me help her."

"Look– It's not just the fact that that glove is channelling enough energy to light up a continent, I'm telling you, you're in no condition," Tony told him. He wasn't sure what would happen if the hybrid used it and he sure as hell knew Mia would be pissed if one of her soulmates was dead when she came back.

"What do you– What do you think is coursing through my veins right now?"

"Bloody Mary?"

"Thousand year old magic."

"Yeah."

Bruce sighed, "Magic won't help you, pal. It's gotta be me. You saw what those stones did to Thanos. It almost killed him. None of you could survive."

Steve looked at him, "How do we know you will?"

"We don't. But the radiation's mostly gamma. It's like...I was made for this."

As Bruce put on the glove Tony asked, "Good to go, yeah?"

"Let's do it."

"You remember– everyone Thanos snapped away five years ago and just bringing them back to now, today. Don't change anything from the last five years."

"Got it."

"Friday, do me a favour and activate Barn Door Protocol. Will you?"

"Yes, boss," The AI answered, causing the facility to go on lockdown.

"Everybody comes home," Bruce muttered as he put on the glove. However, before he could even snap, he screamed in pain from the power surge.

"Take it off! Take it off!" Thor yelled.

"No, wait. Bruce, are you okay?" Asked Steve.

"Talk to me, Banner."

He grunted in pain, "I'm okay. I'm okay."

Just as he snapped his fingers, his body fell to the floor.

"Bruce!" Steve shouted.

"Don't move him."

"Did it work?" Bruce asked tiredly.

"Worth a shot. It's over. It's okay," Thor told him.

Clint glanced down when he heard his phone ringing, "Honey. Honey." He asked after answering it quickly.

"Clint?" Laura asked.

Scott stared out the window and watched as birds flew around, "Guys– I think it worked!"

Bruce stared up through the glass only to see a missile shoot at them. More came, each hitting the base until there was nothing left of it.

Bruce acted quickly and held up the debris, stopping it from collapsing on his friends.

"I can't breathe. I can't breathe! I can't breathe," Rocket shouted. There was some debris on his body.

"Canopy. Canopy. Canopy!" Rhodey yelled.

"Rhodey, Rocket, get outta here!" Bruce told them.

Rhodey crawled over to Rocket and pulled the debris off his small body.

Wakanda | Two Minutes Before

Her eyes widened as she sat up from the ground. She groaned as she glanced down and watched as a large stab wound healed.

"Kol?" She asked, her eyes moving around in an attempt to find her mates.

"Nik? Lijah? Bex?" She asked, unable to see them.

"Mia?" She heard a voice ask before Bucky's body came into view.

Mia stood up quickly and embraced him, "What the hell is going on? Where is everybody?"

Wanda slowly walked over to them, holding her stomach, "Why does it feel like I just drank non diluted Asgardian vodka again?"

They glanced around the field and watched as multiple Wakandan soldiers appeared from thin air.

Mia frowned, "Are you guys seeing this shit? Did we take pot brownies again?"

"I- I don't remember. Do you, Wanda?"

The witch shook her head only for a man to appear in front of them.

Mia quickly held up her gun, "Who are you?"

"My name is Doctor Strange. Now, come. It's been five years. They need you."

Avengers Compound | 10 Minutes Before

Tony stood up slowly before approaching Steve's body. He gently kicked the man's arm, "Come on, buddy. Wake up. That's my man," He told him as the man's eyes opened, "You lose this again, I'm keeping it," He warned as he handed him the shield.

"What happened?" He grunted as he stood.

"You messed with time. It tends to mess back. You'll see."

They slowly walked out and joined Thor who had been standing there the whole time. Steve's eyes widened slightly as Thanos from 2014 came into view.

"What's he been doing?"

"Absolutely nothing," Thor answered.

"Where are the stones?"

"Somewhere under all this. All I know is he doesn't have them," Tony answered, still not taking his eyes off the alien.

"So we keep it that way," Steve spoke.

"You know it's a trap, right?"

"Yeah. And I don't much care," Tony told them.

"Good. Just as long we are all in agreement," Thor then held out his hands. Thunder cracked loudly before both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir appeared. His casual clothes transformed into his armour and cape and his beard had been braided, "Let's kill him properly this time."

Thanos glanced up as the three Avengers walked toward him, "You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me. I thought by eliminating half of life, the other half would thrive. But you've shown me that's impossible. And as long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be. They will resist."

Tony rolled his eyes, "Yep. We're all kinds of stubborn."

"I'm thankful. Because now, I know what I must do. I will shred this universe down to its last atom. And then– With the stones you've collected for me, create a new one. Teeming with life, but knows not what it has lost but only what it has been given. A grateful universe."

"Born out of blood," Steve muttered angrily.

"They'll never know it. Because you won't be alive to tell them."

And then the fight started.

Underneath the rubble of the compound, the room filled rapidly with water as Bruce and the Mikaelsons struggled to hold it up.

Rocket whimpered as he struggled to keep his small body afloat.

"See you on the other side, man," Rhodey told him as the water moved up a few more inches.

"Hang on! I'm coming!" They heard Scott yell.

And suddenly a portal appeared.

Steve groaned as he stood up, his shield broken in half as he watched Thanos summon his army.

Tony was knocked out and so was Thor.

He was all alone.

Until he heard something.

"Hey, Cap, you read me? Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me? On your left."

He glanced back and watched as a golden portal appeared.

He watched in shock as T'Challa, Shuri and Okoye walked through.

Steve breathed out in relief as he watched Sam fly out before Wanda, Bucky and Mia walked through.

Hundreds of other portals appeared, each of their team members walking out.

Mia glanced over and watched Peter swing out and sighed in relief, her brother was okay. Then her eyes moved to another portal and her heart stopped.

She smiled brightly as she came face to face with her soulmates.

"Hey," She whispered as they pulled her into a hug.

She pulled away slightly as she summoned Thor's hammer, and let the blue lightning flow through her body, "Let's go kill this son of a bitch."

Thor and Tony stood up in shock as they watched hundreds of heroes join them.

Mia walked forward and joined Steve.

"Avengers! Assemble."

With a final shout, they ran full force at Thanos's army.

It was a mass of fighting. In every way you looked there were bullets, beams of power and battle cries.

Mia flew up, throwing the hammer before it landed in Steve's hand. She stared at him for a moment, "I fucking knew it! You ass!"

"I didn't want to upset Thor after you picked it up!" He yelled back as he punched an alien.

Thanos's army was slowly depleting with every minute.

She then flew up once more and found Tony. She quickly shot at the alien that was above him as Peter pulled him away with his webs before they walked toward their dad.

"Hey! Holy cow! You will not believe what's been going on. Do you remember when we were in space? And I got all dusty? I must've passed out because I woke up, and you were gone," Peter started.

Mia nodded, "But Doctor Strange was there, right? He was like, "It's been five years. Come on, they need us." And then he started doing the yellow sparkly thing that he does-"

Before they could continue Tony quickly pulled them into his arms.

"What are you doing?" Peter asked before sighing, "Oh, this is nice."

Tony held them tightly as he stared up at the sky thanking whatever god that was up there.

Mia and Tony flew over to Doctor Strange before landing, "Hey. You said one out of 14 million, we win, yeah? Tell me this is it," Tony asked. 

"If I tell you what happens, it won't happen," Strange answered, glancing at Mia.

"You better be right."

"Mia! Mia, I need help!" She heard Peter yell.

She flew off instantly, summoning Thor's hammer and smashing it against the ground. Lightning knocked every single alien in a 30 feet radius to the ground as she helped her brother stand, "You okay?"

Peter nodded as he held up the gauntlet, "I don't know what to do with this."

Mia grabbed it as she threw the hammer back to Steve, "I'll take it. Just like hot potato, right?"

More and more aliens surrounded them.

"Hey! Hey, we need some help here!"

Steve glanced over, "Queens, Mia, heads up!" He yelled before throwing the hammer.

Peter held onto Mia as he webbed the hammer, both of them going flying. However, a beam broke the web in half but before they could fall to their deaths, Pepper caught them in her super suit.

"I got you, kids."

She then threw them up and a woman riding a flying horse caught them.

"Hey! Nice to meet you," Peter told her before they were shot down to the ground.

Mia quickly grabbed the glove and held it tightly against her chest as she landed harshly against the ground.

She took off running only for a beam to hit her. Her body smashed against a rock, more pieces of her already broken suit breaking off.

She screamed as explosions went off around her until it all stopped.

The explosions had changed direction and were shooting at something in the sky.

"What the hell is this?" She heard Sam ask.

"Friday, what are they firing at?" Tony asked.

"Something just entered the upper atmosphere!"

A bright white light appeared before it shot through the main ship, blowing it to bits.

"Danvers, we need an assist here," Steve spoke up.

The woman landed in front of Mia's bloody body, "Woah. If I didn't have four soulmates, I'd definitely ask you out," She muttered tiredly as she stared up at the glowing woman.

Carol chuckled as she helped Mia up, "So, you're the famous Mia I've heard all about."

"Famous? I'd say I'm pretty cool, not necessarily famous. So, uh, what's with the light show? Wait! Are you an alien? Are all aliens as hot as you?"

"Mia, stop flirting!" Steve yelled through the comms, though he was clearly amused.

Carol smiled as she gestured to the glove, "You got something for me?"

Mia handed her the glove as she watched Thanos's army charge toward them, "I don't know how you're gonna get through all of that."

And then Wanda, Valkyrie and multiple other women surrounded them.

"Don't worry."

"You've got help."

Mia glanced over at Steve before the man threw the hammer back at her. She quickly caught it, nodding at him.

Lightning surged through her body as they charged at the aliens. She glanced down and saw the Mikaelsons struggling. She quickly moved towards them before she smashed the hammer against the ground.

Every alien died on impact.

She grinned as she tossed the hammer between her hands, "Fuck, I love this thing."

She turned around and quickly helped her soulmates up, "Is it a bad time to say you four haven't aged a day and still look hot as fuck?"

They grinned widely at her.

"Probably," Klaus told her as he punched an alien before it could get any closer to them.

Mia nodded, "Ah, I'll save the compliments for later then. I will say one thing though, the curls, they make you look ten times hotter, Nik!"

He blushed slightly.

"What about me, darling? I tried this new hair gel," Kol told her with a smirk.

Mia smiled as she took in his messy hair, "I don't know if it works very well, Kol."

He shrugged, "Not every day you fight in a war."

She nodded, "Not every day."

A large explosion then went off, sending tidal waves of power through the area. The Mikaelsons had been blown away at least a few meters.

Mia stood up, glancing beside her and noticed the glove. She remembered the look Strange had given her and she quickly grabbed it.

Thanos ran towards her and tackled her body to the ground. Thor then appeared and smashed his hammer against Thanos's chest.

Then Steve jumped on Thanos's back only for Thanos to get the upper hand and knock them off.

He went to grab the glove only for Carol to step on his leg and punch him in the jaw. As she sent another punch to his face, he grabbed her wrist and threw her across the field.

He pulled the glove on his hand as it powered up; however, before he could snap, Carol held his hand down.

She was stronger than him, he realized. So he grabbed the power stone and used it to knock her away.

Mia slowly got up, her eyes meeting Strange's once more. He stared at her as he held up a single finger symbolizing their one chance to save the world.

She breathed out as she realized what needed to happen.

Just as Thanos placed the power stone back in its place, she grabbed the glove. He sent punches at her face until she was thrown away from him.

"I am inevitable," And then he snapped his fingers.

Nothing happened.

He glanced over and watched as Mia placed the stones on the last piece of the nanotech suit she had which was on her hand.

The power surged through her body as she kneeled on the ground.

"And I... Am a bitch," She told him before she snapped her fingers.

And just like that, Thanos's army turned to dust.

The heroes breathed out as they watched their enemies fall, not realizing that their friend was the reason why.

Thanos breathed heavily as his eyes moved around the battlefield. He sat down slowly, sighing as his body slowly disappeared, turning to dust.

Mia grunted as she stood up, leaning against a hunk of metal as blood fell from her lips.

Tony and Peter sped over to her, helping her body to the ground.

She breathed heavily as Peter held her face in his hands, "Mia? Mia, hey. Mia, can you hear me? It's Peter- Hey. We won, Mia. We won. You did it, Mia, you did it."

Tony pulled the sobbing boy into his arms as the Mikaelsons slowly walked towards them including the rest of their family.

They slowly kneeled in front of her body as Kol took her hand in his, "Mia?"

She slowly moved her eyes down to them, "Hey."

Tony stared down at them, "Friday?"

"Life functions critical," The AI answered loud enough for them all to hear.

Mia smiled softly at them, "It's gonna be okay. I promise."

Her eyes slowly closed as her heart stopped.

Tears fell freely down the Mikaelson's faces as they held her lifeless body in their arms once more.
