C H 3 : Chocolate For Two
** Third Person's P.O.V **
Back when they were children.
I won't be your savior either.
Now that the notorious jewel gang was under arrest for theft and other countless crimes, Sans and Asriel then begins their next mission with another mafia but this time, they were notorious for property damage right after they murder various different mafias. They were known to blow up evidence and even police couldn't even figure out some crimes that were done by the mafia.
The mafia's leader likes to blow up things, he likes to make things explode and all that. He was insane and lacked empathy, he was even thought to have alexithymia but that was just a rumour.
People outside the mafia world don't know much about this and they are really living the oblivion. That was Y/n when she was younger. Just by remembering that, Sans felt more and more guilt weighing him down.
Right, of course. He and his father used to experiment on children, and none of them seemed to be compatible with the magic they injected into their bodies except for her. She was compatible but doesn't really use it that much which was really hard to work with.
That's why she's more on hands with weaponry than her own magic that they gave her. He wonders if there was a reason why she doesn't use her powers often.
Was there even a reason?
Shrugging, Sans walks to the garage where Asriel was waiting for me. The prince then turns the ignition as Sans hops onto the car on the right front seat. “As usual, you are always late. Mind telling me why?” Asriel asks, curiosity laced his voice.
Sans tensed, by just remembering what they did to her years ago just broke his heart into a million pieces, how could he not remember? It's probably all this ‘falling in love’ stuff that he didn't process anything but just her in general.
Sighing, “Do you remember the time we experimented on children years ago? I remember Y/n being compatible with the magic, but something's bothering me about it.” He finally responds, guilt was evident in his voice.
“Yeah? What's bothering you about it?” Asriel presses, growing really curious and concerned. Did something happen with the magic? Did it fade away? Did she use it all up? He doesn't know what's going on.
“Remember all the times we spent with her, years after? Do you notice anything strange? Like, her magic?” Sans responds, trying to make Asriel guess what he is trying explain. Silence, several minutes later, Asriel finally understands.
“Took you a long time.” Sans chuckles, “H-hey! Like if you're not taking a long time too!” The prince retorts, his face flushed. “Okay, okay, let me get this straight. She barely used the magic we gave her?” Asriel looks over to Sans only to see him nodding in confirmation and that was enough to blow his mind.
“Wow...”
“Yeah, I know. I just noticed too.”
Asriel nods in agreement.
“I feel really guilty about it, why would we give her something that she'll never use anyways?”
Asriel hums in agreement once more. He was making a point, what will should do with them anyways?
Knowing that their questions won't be answered just yet, they continue on to their destination.

Gun in hand, pulling the trigger, the skeleton finally kills the last of his men. Sneaking behind the corridors across the leader's study, he kicks the door open just as the leader was about to open the door. Shooting straight on, on the head, the leaders fell limp on the floor.
That was easier than he thought. Or so he thought it would turn out to be. The leader, in mere seconds of death, had a small button attached to his hand which triggers explosions.
Thinking that it would be the end of the skeleton's life, Sans immediately teleported out of there without a problem at all. By just seeing this, the leader was done for, as the last seconds of his life were just a flash of explosions which destroyed a third of his mansion.
Karma bites back y'know.

Back at the mansion, Sans was bone tired already, Asriel followed by, already passing out on the lobby's chairs. Toriel, of course carried Asriel back to his sleeping quarters as Sans teleports himself into his own room. Groaning as he softly plopped onto the fluffy mattress and a wide array of pillows that was given to him these past christmas and birthdays.
Rolling to his side, staring at the window beside his bedroom.
“Hey, Doc. Are you finished with those prototypes? Dad needs to test them now.” Alphys jolts up from the sudden intrusion. “A-ah, yes! I'll go rettieve t-them from the c-cell now.” She then scurries off to the test rooms where she keeps her prototypes and all the weird junk she has hoarded.
Impatiently waiting, he scans the rooms for any entertainment that could amuse his boredom and patience. Examining the room a couple of times before landing on a table with nothing but chocolates, and flowers which were specifically roses.
Raising a non-existent brow, he walks overs to the table. From point blank range, it seems ordinary and nothing more, but when you take a closer look. He finally understood, it was nearing valentines day. How could he forget?
He noticed that it had a tag.

From: Alphys xoxo
That's strange, Alphys just gave Undyne an early valentines gift. Who could this be for?
“H-here are the p-prototypes you a-asked—oh.”
“Who are these for?”
“Oh! Those? Those are for Y/n, she likes chocolates and roses when it comes to valentines day gifts. She doesn't like hanging out on dates or surprises. All she wants is that special someone to be there for her and nothing more.”
*flashback ends*
Yeah, it's nearing February soon.
He rolls over to his side, thinking about when she would come back.
Little did he know that she just did.
