Will walks to his twin sisters room and opens to door and sees her sitting on her bed looking at the wall, Will walks at sits on the bed and Davina looks at him.

" Hey, Davina " Will says to Davina.

" Hi " Davina smiled.

" I'm going to the arcade with Lucas, Mike and Dustin, would you like to come? " Will asked.

" What's an arcade? " Davina asked confused.

" It's a place, where you can play video games " Will replied.

" Video....Games " Davina questioned.

" It's a pretty much a like a normal game but on a computer " Will answered.

" Ohh " Davina said in realisation.

" So would you like to go " Will asked.

" Sure " Davina nodded and Will smiles brightly and grabs her hand pulling her up from the bed.

Davina and Will exit the room and walk to the kitchen.

" Hey, what are you two doing? " Joyce asked the twins.

" Can Davina go to the arcade with me and the boys? " Will asked.

" I don't know, what if something happens " Joyce said hesitantly, she had only just recently gotten her daughter back, the woman didn't want to loose her again.

" Please Mom, I'll watch her plus she's got powers and she can protect herself " Will pleaded.

".....Fine, but watch your sister please....we can't lose her again " Joyce demanded.

" I know Mom " Will reassured.

Joyce walks over to Davina and cups her face, Davina slightly stiffens before relaxing.

" you can go but.....Be careful, Okay " Joyce says Smiling as she kissed her daughter on the cheek before removing her hand from Davina face.

" I will, Joyce " Davina says and Joyce smile drops slightly.

" Come on, you two " Joyce says as she walks out the door with the twins following her.

When they arrived at the arcade it took about two minutes before Joyce let them go.

Lucas, Dustin and Mike pulled Will into a hug after filling away they noticed Davina.

" Ohh, hey Davina, we're glad you could come " Mike smiled.

" Yeah " Davina smiled back before watching the boys continue to talk to each other, a couple minutes later they went inside.

Davina was sitting at one of the tables drinking a milkshake that Will had gotten her, while the boys go play a game called dragon's lair.

She felt eyes on her and she turned to see a red-haired girl staring at her from where she was playing one of the arcade games and they locked eyes before the red-head looked away.

" No, no, no. I hate this overpriced bullshit, son of a bitch, piece of shit " Davina hears Dustin yell and she looks at the the boys before walking over to them as an older teen walked off.

" 751,300 points " Will says shocked as he goes to stand next to his sister " That's impossible ".

Davina was confused at the situation but remains silent.

" Who's Mad Max? " Dustin asked.

" Better than you " an older teen mocked as he walked up to them again.

" Is it you " Will asked.

" You know I despise, dig dug " the older teen scoffed.

" Then who is it? " Lucas asked.

" Yeah, spill it Keith " Mike demanded.

" You want information, then I need something in return " Keith said glancing at Mike and the boy gags knowing that it was about his sister Nancy.

" No, no, no, no. You're not getting a date with my sister " Mike says.

" Mike come on, just get him the date " Lucas said.

" I'm not prostituting my sister " Mike snapped hitting Lucas in the arm.

" But it's for a good cause " Lucas replied.

" No.......Don't get him the date, you know what? He's gonna spread his nasty-ass rash to your whole family " Dustin added.

" Acne isn't a rash and it isn't contagious, you prepubescent wastoid " Keith snapped his voice wavering.

" Oh, I'm a wastoid? She wouldn't go on a date with you, you make what like 2.50 an hour? " Dustin replied.

Davina feels her stomach sink, she then feels Will grab her hand and sees him looking at the arcade doors and walks off still holding her hand and she follows, " Hey, hey. Do you see the..." Will says turning around and sees that everyone but Davina gone.

" Will " Davina muttered squeezing Will's hand.

The lights flickered.

They were in the upside down.

Davina looks at her brother before they walked outside the arcade with him, their eyes landed on the sky as it thundered loudly.

The twins continue to stare at the sky, a slight figure that resembled a huge spider flickered into their view as red lightning struck.

" Davina...Will, are you okay? " Mike asked as the twins snap out of their trance and spun around to look a Mike.

" Yeah, we just...we needed some air " Will reassured.

" Come on, Will you're up on dig dug, them we'll teach Davina to play " Mike said.

" Let's take that top score back " Will says guiding his sister back into the arcade.

Will and Davina are standing at the bike rack as she waited for him to put his bike away.

" Are you okay about going? " Will asked as they walked into the school.

" Yes " Davina replied.

" Oaky, but let me know if you want to leave and I'll call mum " Will says and Davina nodded.

The twins walk into science class and go to sit in their seats but Davina was stopped by Mr. Clarke.

" You must be one of the new students " Mr. Clarke says smiling.

" Yes " Davina said.

" Well, go on introduce yourself " Mr. Clarke says.

" my name is Davina " Davina announced before walking to sit next to her brother.

" Well, a your a girl of very few words " Mr. Clarke says " Anyways, meet the human brain, I know I know. It doesn't look like much, a little gross even, right? But consider this, there are a hundred billion cells inside of this miracle of evolution. All working as one, no no, I did not miss speak. I did not shutter, a hundred billion" Mr. Clarke says as the boys looked Intrigued by the lesson and Davina just looked confused.

Suddenly all heads turned to the door as it opens.

" Ahh, you must be the other new student " Mr. Clarke smiled smiling.

" indeed all yours " the principal said before walking away and the red-head tries to walk past the teacher but gets stopped

" Alright, hold on " Mr. Clarke said to the girl.

" You don't get to get away that easily, come on up, don't be shy " Me. Clarke says to the girl before looking at Dustin " Dustin, drum roll please ".

Dustin closed his book and began to hit it, making a drumming sound.

" Class please welcome, all the way from sunny California, the latest passenger to join us on our curiosity voyage, Maxine " Mr. Clarke introduces.

" It's Max " the red-head corrected.

" Sorry? " Mr. Clarke asked.

" Nobody calls me Maxine, it's Max ".

" Mad Max " Lucas whispered referring to the username on dig dug.

" Well, all a board, Max " Mr. Clarke says smiling kindly, the boys turn and watched Max take a seat but they quickly turned around when Max noticed them looking.

Davina then notices that Max was staring at her and she smiles at the red-head and Max looks away blushing.

The boys are watching Max as she skates on her skateboard and Davina walked up to them " What are you
doing? " Davina asked and the boys jump startled.

" We're watching the new girl to see if she's mad max " Will replied.

" isn't it....a little creepy to be watching her? " Davina asked and the boys look at each other but ignore her question.

" There's no way that's Mad Max " Mike scoffed.

" Yeah, girls don't play video games " Will added.

" And even if they did, you can't 750,000 points on dig dug " Mike said.

" it's impossible " Dustin scoffed.

" but her name is Max " Lucas said.

" So what " Mike scoffed.

" So, how many Max's do you know? " Lucas replied.

" I don't know " Mike sighed in a frustrated tone.

" Zero.....that's how many " Lucus says.

" Yeah, she shows up at school the day after, someone with her name breaks our top score. I mean are you kidding me " Dustin added, basically agreeing with Lucas.

" Exactly, so she's gotta be Mad Max, she's gotta be " Lucus said.

" She looks...cool on that board thing " Davina spoke up.

" Cool? " Mike asked.

" You haven't even spoken to her " Davina shrugs.

" Shit, target lost " Mike says and Will looks to his left and sees Max.

" Oh, there " Will says as he walked away from the fence.

The party and Davina watched as the red-head walked up the stairs with her board, she tosses a piece of paper in the trash before heading inside the school. The boys glanced at each other before running over to the trash and Davina follows them walking.

Dustin leans over and searches the trash as a few girls walked by, sending the boys a look and Davina who had just walked up glared at them causing them to run off.

" Got it, here we go " Dustin spoke up as he un-crumples the palace and the boys lean over Dustin to look at the piece of paper that said.

Stop spying on me creeps.

" Well, shit " Mike muttered.

"William Bryers ".

Davina and Will turn around to see the principal " You're mother's here " he says.

" Will you be okay by yourself? " Will asked Davina.

" I'll be fine " Davina answered smiling at him and Will smiles back before walking away.

" Do you guys think he'll be okay? " Dustin asked.

" He's always weird, when he has to go in " Lucas replied.

" I don't know " Mike added " he's been quiet today ".

" He's always quiet " Lucus commented.

After Mike gave her a ride home on his bike, Davina walked into the house and strode into the dinning room where Joyce was smoking and Davina could tell it wasn't her first one.

" Where's Will? " Davina asked and Joyce turned to face her startled.

" In his room " Joyce replied and Davina nods as she placed her bag on the table.

" How it okay? " Davina asked.

Joyce shook her head " Owens said....it's going to get worse before it gets any better ".

Davina nods before walking into Will's room.

Will looks up hearing his door open " Oh, hey Vina ".

" Hi " Davina replied.

" You want to read with me " Will says as he holds up the comic he was reading.

Davina nods and walks over to his bed and laid down with her head on his shoulder.

Eventually they ended up falling asleep.
