Daella, Aegon, Aemond, Jacaerys and Lucerys were all currently in the Dragonpit.

" Hold " one of the Dragonkeepers said as Vermax, Jacaerys's dragon was brought to the surface " Let him come ".

Aegon yawned as Aemond and Daella linked their hands together, the Dragonkeeper pushed Jacaerys forward.

" Call Vermax to heel Prince Jacaerys ".

" Serve " Jacaerys said in High Valyrian, Vermax growled and Jacaerys stepped back and said " Halt ".

" Well done " the Dragonkeeper said as another Dragonkeeper brought out a goat.

Vermax started to go towards the goat growling.

" Vermax.....Vermax " Jacaerys shouted as a keeper said " Halt ".

" You must hold mastery over your dragon, My Young Prince " translated the keeper and the older keeper spoke again " As Prince Aegon has with Sunfrye and Princess Daella with Attor..." The older keeper spoke again and the woman translated " Once they're fully bound to you, they will refuse to take instruction from anyone else ".

" Can I say it? " Jacaerys asked and the keeper nodded " Dracarys, Vermax ".

Vermax stalked over to the goat and then burned it alive and began to eat it.

" Aemond, we have a surprise for you " Aegon said to Aemond as the twins hands tightened around each other.

Daella sighed knowing where the boys were going with this and she hated when her eldest brother was like this.

" Seriously, Aegon " Daella said and Aegon ignored her.

" What is it? " asked Aemond as Daella squeezed his hand and Aemond squeezed back.

" Somthing very special " Lucerys laughed before running to get the surprise from the pit below.

" You're the only one of us with out a dragon " Aegon said as the siblings walked closer to the pit.

" Indeed " Aemond said.

" And we felt badly about it,...so we found one for you " Aegon said.

" A dragon? How? " Aemond asked squeezing Daella's hand tighter.

" The gods provide " Aegon said vaguely.

Suddenly Lucerys began running up from the pit as he dragged a pig with wings on it's back with him.

" Behold-" Aegon started before Lucerys and Jacaerys joined him in saying " The Pink Dread ".

" Be sure to mount her carefully......first flights always rough " Aegon whispered to Aemond before snorting like a pig as the the two younger boys laugh and Daella just looked at them annoyed as they walked out.

" Aemond " Daella called and Aemond smiled before pulling his twin sister in for a hug " I'll be fine....why don't you go see Halaena ".

Daella looked up at her twin brother hesitantly before she kisses his cheek and walked away to go see her sister.

Daella sat with her sister as she and her mother Alicent listen to Halaena talk, Daella always loved hearing her sister talk about her bugs and the way Halaena's eyes would always light up, when she did.

Daella started to feel a pit in her stomach and knew it was Aemond, so she picked at her cuticles to distract herself.

" This one has 60 rings...and two pairs of legs on each....that's 240 " Halaena said as she held a bug in her hand.

" Yes, it is " Alicent said softly.

" It has eyes.....though....I don't believe it can see " Halaena said.

" And why is that so, do you think? " Alicent asked.

" it is beyond our understanding " Halaena said.

" I suppose you're right...some things just are " Alicent said as she touched Halaena's shoulder, who flinched and leaned closer to her sister for comfort who wrapped an arm around her as they continued to look at the bug.

Suddenly the door opened " Your Grace " a guard said as he dragged in a dirt covered Aemond.

" Aemond " Alicent and Daella called as they rushed over to him.

" What have you done? " Alicent asked.

" He did it again " Halaena said.

Daella regretted leaving Aemond in the dragon pit as she checked him for injuries.

" Are you alright " Daella asked frantically.

" After how many times you've been warned, must you be confined to your chambers " Alicent said.

" They made me do it " Aemond snapped as he grabbed Daella's hand in comfort.

" As if you needed more encouragement " Alicent said " Your obsession with those beasts goes beyond understanding ".

" They gave me a pig " Aemond shouted.

" A what? " Alicent asked.

" They said they found a dragon for me " Aemond explained.

" The last ring has no legs at all " Halaena muttered.

" But it was a pig " Aemond said.

" You will have a dragon one day " Della reassured her twin " And I know it will be the strongest and largest of them all ".

" Your sister is right.........we know it " Alicent said.

" He'll have to close an eye " Halaena muttered.

" They all laughed " Aemond said looking down, Alicent's sighed before pulling the twins into a hug.

Alicent was in the small council room with Viserys, Rhaenyra and members of the council.

" It is Lord Blackwood's contention, therefore, that the Brackens moved the boundary stones in the dead of night and put their horses to graze in his field " Lyonel said.

" And why wasn't this issue not brought up before Lord Grover? " Alicent asked " Has he grown so feeble, he cannot settle a quarrel over rocks? ".

" I've heard tale that Lord Grover's son now rules Riverrun in all but name ".

" Well, he is also a Tully and this remains a Tully problem " Alicent said.

" I would agree " Viserys added.

" If we may move on my lords—-" Tyland Lannister started but was interrupted by Rhaenyra.

" And yet, the Brackens and the Blackwoods will use any excuse to spill each others blood ' Rhaenyra said as she fiddled with the stone ball in front of her, Alicent looked at Rhaenyra, who looked back before looking away.

" So this dispute bears looking into " Rhaenyra said as she looked around the room " There will be countryfolk, who know where the lines have been draw for generations ".

" That is easy enough " Lyonel said.

" Of course " Alicent scoffed silently as she takes a sip of wine as Rhaenyra and Lyonel looked at her.

" Ser Tyland " Lyonel called out.

" We should address, the latest developments in the Stepstones, My Lords " Tyland announced.

" Will we ever be shut of that blasted place? " Viserys muttered as Alicent rolled her eyes.

" If you ask me, I think the Blackwoods have the upper hand " Lord Beesbury said.

" We've moved onto the Stepstones, Lord Beesbury ".

" And the Triarchy's new alliance with Dorne " Tyland said.

" I was hoping, our negotiations with Sunspear might persuade them to see reason " Viserys said before coughing into a handkerchief " To trust a Martell is to be disappointed ".

" And where, I wonder is our Prince Daemon? Or I suppose I should call him king as he styles himself....when he won a battle there......once ".

" That was a decade ago and he has since left the region undefended " Alicent added.

" We have left it undefended " Rhaenyra added causing Alicent to look at her " There should've been fortifications built.....watchtowers, a fleet of ships, a garrison of soldiers sent to hold our ground ".

" We can not afford it " Alicent interrupted " Our coffers are great but not infinite, we must consider the cost to our subjects ".

" I must agree—" Lord Beesbury started.

" The cost of war is greater " Rhaenyra interrupted " But we have been lax and the old monster now lifts it's head....".

" Let us be finished " Alicent said as she sat up.

" Yes " Viserys nodded weakly as everyone but Rhaenyra got up.

" Wait......I wish to speak " Rhaenyra said.

" Be seated " Viserys ordered as everyone but Alicent sat down and Rhaenyra then stood up.

Rhaenyra looked at Alicent before speaking " I have.......felt the........strife.......between our families of late, my queen and for any offence given by mine, I apologise....but we are one house.......and long before that we were........friends..............My son Jaecaerys will Inherit the Iron Throne after me, I propose we betroth him to your daughter, Daella " Alicent looked at her " Ally ourselves..........once and for all..........let them rule together ".

" A most judicious proposition " Viserys smiled at Rhaenyra before looking at his wife.

Alicent scoffed as she shook her head causing everyone to look at her, the was no way in hell she would trap her daughter in a loveless marriage like herself especially not to Rhaenyra's son, she wanted a better life her her daughter.....a better life than what she had.

It was the next day and Alicent stood at one of the windows of the castle as she looked out of it and watches as Rhaenyra and her family leave for Dragonstone.

" Mother " Daella called as she approached Alicent.

" Are you alright " Alicent asked worried.

" I'm fine, I just wanted to check on you " Daella said as Alicent stroked her daughters hair.

" I have good news " Alicent said with a smile "........Your grandfather is returning to Kings Landing to be the King's Hand again ".

Daella's smile widened.

" Really " Daella asked smiling and Alicent nodded as she pulled her daughter to her needing the comfort of her after what happened with Lord Larys Strong.
