I love Shawn. I do. He is the most humble, cute, sweetest, funniest, smartest, protective, and the most amazing boyfriend you can ever imagine.

But it's one thing that can be a little bit too much. Protective. Don't take me wrong, it's really cute that he is protective, but sometimes it can get a little bit too much.

I can't even talk to my guy friends for more than one hour until he gets jealous. But what to do? I love him and he loves me, so I just need to accept that he is a little bit overprotective sometimes.

"You have English now, right?" Shawn asked leaning his back against the locker beside mine. "Yeah, and you have science?" I raised one eyebrow and took out my books from my locker and closed the locker door.

"You don't have to ask babe. You know my schedule by heart. I can wake you up in the middle of the night and ask you what lesson I have on Thursday at 10 o'clock"

"Shut up" I pushed him playfully on his shoulder "You make me look like a creep" I hid my face in my hands.

He grinned down at me and cupped my one cheek, causing me to look up at him. "I think it's pretty cute" he smiled widely and peaked my lips softly. "See you at the same spot at 11 o'clock and then we eat lunch together at the cafeteria?"

"You don't have to ask Shawn. You know I want to" I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him quickly but softly. "I could stay there the whole day, but I really need to go" he let go of my cheek and walked away from me.

He turned around and walked backward, his eyes glued on me. "I love you, Sophia Miller!" He shouted and lifted his arms above his head. I immediately started to blush and some students in the hallway looked at Shawn and then at me.

I shook my head at his silliness and walked to my class.

As Shawn asked, I waited for him by my locker. Our classes we're going to end at the same time. 11 o'clock, but he never came out. A few students from his science class walked to their lockers, but there was no Shawn to be seen. I looked down at my phone to see if he had texted me. But my display just showed the lock screen background and the time.

I put my books in my locker when I felt a hot breath hitting my neck. I smiled and turned around and was just going to kiss him when I stopped in my track.

I widened my eyes when I realized that the hot breath hitting my neck wasn't Shawn. It was Jesper. He is a total douchebag. Whenever Shawn isn't around me, he always takes the chance to come up to me and mess with me.

I can't tell if he does it because he wants to make fun out of me, or because he thinks it's funny or that he like me, but he wants to show everyone that he is 'the bad guy' so be take all the opportunity that comes to him.

"What do you want Jesper?" I crossed my arms against my chest. "Isn't Shawn here to protect you?" he moved his face closer to mine. "Just go away Jesper" I turned around to put the last book in the locker when I felt his hand on my waist. Spinning me around.

"Why? We who just were about to get down to the fun stuff" he smirked and tugged a strand of my hair and placed it behind my ear.

All of a sudden he got pulled back and fell to the floor. It all happened so fast, so it was hard to catch up with what was happening.

Shawn sat on top of Jesper and held his upper back up from the floor, by holding a firm grip at Jesper's collar. "What did you do to her?" Shawn hissed keeping his knees pressed on top of Jesper's hands. "Shawn, please it's okay" I walked over to him and tried to pull him off of Jesper, but he was too strong.

"Nothing happened Shawn. See, I'm totally fine. Please let's go now"

Shawn looked at me from top to toe and let go off of Jesper's collar and stood up. "What the fuck dude. You seriously have a problem" Jesper's tapped the side of his head with his fingertip and walked away.

"Are you okay?" Shawn cupped one of my cheeks and looked at me with worry in his eyes. "Yes Shawn, I am okay. He didn't hurt me"

"Good" he wrapped his strong arms around my body "I'm just scared that you will get hurt when I'm not around" he mumbled on top of my head. "And I don't want that"

"Shawn" I looked up at him "I know that you love me and that I mean everything to you-" "Damn right you are" he interrupts.

"Shawn let me finish. And it's super cute that you always protect me. But sometimes it can get a little bit too much. What just happened a few seconds ago? That's not you. You are never the guy that throws other people to the ground. You are a humble and sweet Canadian guy. Not a bad boy from Canada"

He gave me an apologizing gaze. "I'm sorry baby. I'm just scared that you will be taken away from me. That you will choose another guy or that something will happen to you when I'm not around. I love you too much to let you go"

I cupped his left cheek and caressed it with my thumb. "I love you too. But please think of it until next time. It's super cute that you are protective. But sometimes it can get a little bit too much"

"Yes, of course, hun. I'll do everything to make you happy" he said before he softly kissed me. His one hand traveled down my arm and intertwined our fingers. " Let's go. I'm hungry" he whispered with a big smile against my lips.

I let out a chuckle and nodded.

Gosh, I love this boy.
