I adjusted my mask and offered that bitch my arm, leading her into the whirlwind of colors and laughter that filled the masquerade party. We exchanged greetings with the guests, our movements fluid and rehearsed.

My eyes scanned the room, locking onto Yoongi's familiar figure across the way. He was deep in conversation with a stranger, their laughter carrying above the music.

Curiosity piqued, I walked towards them.

"Yoongi, who's this gentleman?" I asked, nodding towards the unknown man.

Yoongi turned, a wide grin spreading across his face.

"D'yavol, this is Vincenzo Cassano, my great friend. He just returned from Italy." Yoongi said.

I extended my hand, and Vincenzo's firm handshake matched his charming smile.

"Welcome to Seoul. I'm Seokjin, and this is my wife, Gianna." I said.

As we chatted, the music shifted, and the crowd began to move towards the dance floor.
Gianna's hand found mine, and we were swept up in the tide. Why we fucking have to act as ideal husband wife infront of everyone which I hate the most.

I danced reluctantly, my eyes scanning the sea of masks until the beat changed, and I was face to face with a girl. I looked into her eyes.

Petal!

The strawberry scent hit me like a tidal wave, and my heart skipped a beat. I froze, my gaze locked onto the piercing brown eyes behind the mask. The music swirled around us, but I was lost in the depths of her gaze, the world narrowing to this single moment.

"Congratulations on your wedding, Mr. Kim!" Her voice dripped with a sweetness that felt like venom, her smile twisting into a mocking curve.

I stood there, paralyzed, my mind reeling with the impossibility of it all. My heart screamed to reach out, to touch her, to confirm she was real this time. I wanted to hug her, to cry, to tell her how much I missed her.

But confusion held me captive. Was I hallucinating again? Had my mind finally snapped? The lights flickered, and the music shifted, shattering the spell. I blinked, and when I opened my eyes, Gianna was back in front of me, a concerned expression on her face.

I didn't hesitate. I turned and pushed through the crowd, desperate to find Aurora. It was her; I was certain.

The strawberry scent lingered in my memory, a haunting reminder. I weaved through the masked figures, my eyes scanning the sea of faces, but she was nowhere to be found.

I stopped, my chest heaving, and spun around, searching for a glimpse of her. The music pulsed around me, but I was deaf to its rhythm. Where had she gone? Had I lost her again?

I sat in the car, trying to compose myself, but a tear escaped, rolling down my cheek. Vin Hyung's warm hand enveloped mine, offering comfort.

"Hey, it's okay. You're strong, Lupa. You've come so far." He said.

"I just...can't believe it," I whispered, my voice cracking.

"Seeing him again...it brought everything back." I said.

Vin Hyung's grip tightened on my hand.

"You're not the same person you were back then. You're fierce, capable, and powerful. Don't let him get to you." He said.

I nodded, taking a deep breath, and let Vin Hyung words sink in. We arrived at the mansion, and as I stepped out, and entered the mansion.

Yoongi swept me into a tight hug.

"Yo, man, I missed you so much!" I said.

He laughed, feeling a mix of emotions.

"I missed you too, Bambi." He said.

Yoongi held me at arm's length, a proud smile on his face.

"I can't believe my little sister, the weakling Aurora who used to get scared of everything, is now a strong mafia girl." He said.

"All thanks to Vin Hyung!" I said.

I looked at Vin Hyung who was looking at us while smiling. I looked back at Yoongi. We sat on the couch and started talking. We were having a conversation but then he mentioned that their will be a dinner at our mansion tomorrow, and my expression turned cold.

"Everyone's coming, including the Kims." He said.

My jaw clenched, and a plan began to form in my mind.

"Great. I'll come to my home tomorrow. I'll surprise everyone...including the Kims."I said.

A sly smirk spread across my face as I thought about the possibilities. It was time to show them all what I was capable of.

Morning

"Ugh, Soo-Hyun, can't you see I'm busy?" I said, not breaking my stride on the treadmill.

"Busy? You're just running away from your problems, as usual," Soo-Hyun teased, his eyes glinting with amusement.

I shot him a withering look.

"At least I'm not busy being a pretty boy, relying on my looks to get by." I said.

Soo-Hyun chuckled, his smirk growing wider.

"Hey, my looks have gotten me far, Mia Cara. And at least I don't have to resort to throwing punches to solve my problems." He said.

I snorted, increasing the incline on my treadmill.

"You're one to talk, Mr. 'I-only-fight-with-my-words'." I said.

Soo-Hyun snickered.

"Oh, I can fight with my fists too, but I prefer to use my brains. You know, the one thing you lack." He said.

I glared at him, my eyes narrowing.

"And I'm sure your brain is just filled with thoughts of your hair and wardrobe." I said.

Soo-Hyun laughed, holding up his hands in mock defense.

"Hey, someone's got to keep the ladies swooning." He said.

I rolled my eyes, shaking my head.

"You're impossible, Soo-Hyun." I said.

"That's why you love me, Mia Cara." He grinned, winking at me.

I scoffed.

"I don't love you, I tolerate you more than that I fucking hate you." I said.

"As if i'm dying for your love." He said and rolled his eyes.

"Soo-Hyun! You just came a few hours ago from Italy so don't make me do something which can take you back to Italy." I said.

He rolled his eyes.

Aurora stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her black leather jacket. She heard a knock at the door and smiled, knowing who it was.

"Come in," she said, not turning around.

Seo-Jun entered the room, his eyes scanning her outfit.

"Aurora, are you really going to your own mansion?" He asked, a hint of concern in his voice.

Aurora turned to face him, her expression confident.

"Seo-Jun, I'm just going to stay there for a night. I'll come back here. I also have to meet my parents. It's been four years since I last saw them." She said.

Seo-Jun's eyes narrowed.

"And what about the Kims?" He asked.

Aurora shrugged, her smile turning cold.

"I don't give a fuck about them." She said.

Seo-Jun raised an eyebrow.

"Are you really going in this outfit?" He asked, gesturing to her leather jacket and jeans.

Aurora winked at him.

"Don't forget that I'm a mafia girl, Seo-Jun. I need to look the part." She said.

Seo-Jun raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical.

"A mafia girl, huh? You're really embracing this whole 'tough girl' image, aren't you?" He asked.

She smirked, adjusting her jacket.

"Hey, it's not an image, it's who I am now. And besides, I need to make a statement. Showing up at my own mansion, in my own territory, I need to look the part." She said.

Seo-Jun chuckled, shaking his head.

"You're something else, Aurora. But I have to admit, you pull off the whole 'badass' vibe pretty well." He said.

Aurota grinned, feeling a surge of confidence.

"Thanks, Seo-Jun. I've worked hard to get where I am." She said.

He nodded, his expression turning serious.

"I know you have. And I'm proud of you, Aurora. Just be careful tonight, okay? The Kims aren't to be trifled with." He said.

Aurora waved her hand dismissively.

"Don't worry about me, Seo-Jun. I can handle myself. Besides, I have a few tricks up my sleeve." She said.

Seo-Jun raised an eyebrow, intrigued.

"Oh? And what might those be?" He asked.

She just winked at him, leaving him wondering.

"You'll see, Seo-Jun." She said.

Seo-Jun nodded, smiling.

"Will do, Aurora. Good luck tonight." He said.

At Min's Mansion

The Min's mansion was alive with the sound of laughter and chatter. I was engrossed in a conversation with Namjoon and Hoseok. Yoongi was talkimg with my Dad while the maknae line was bickering with eachother.

The ladies were having their own gossip. Everyone was busy, enjoying each other's company, when suddenly, a car horn pierced the air.

Yoongi immediately stood up from his seat, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He looked at his parents, then at us, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Mom and Dad, I have a surprise for you," He announced, barely containing his enthusiasm.

His father raised an eyebrow.

"What surprise?" He asked.

Yoongi just chuckled.

"You'll see." He said.

With that, he strode out of the living room, leaving us all confused. What was he up to?

A few moments later, Yoongi returned, standing proudly in the doorway.

"Mom, Dad, I present to you...your surprise!" He said.

He gestured towards the gate, and that's when we heard the sound of footsteps approaching. My curiosity was piqued, and I turned to see who it was.

And then, I saw her.

Aurora.

She looked...different. Gone was the timid, shy girl I remembered. In her place stood a confident, fierce woman, with a sly smile spreading across her face.

"Surprise!" She exclaimed, her voice husky.

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. I couldn't believe my eyes. Aurora, the girl I thought I knew, was gone. In her place was a stranger, her outfit, hairs everything were changed. Her hairs turned from brown to raven.

The room fell silent, everyone staring at Aurora in shock. Yoongi's parents were shocked as well.

"Aurora?" her mother whispered, her voice trembling.

"Is that you?" She asked.

Aurora nodded, her smile growing wider.

"The one and only." She said.
