chapter nine: missed me? darling?

the door slowly got opened. and she slowly walked down, hearing the sound of cheer "shanaya" aanshi called she turned around and "ha?" 

"lets go, we are getting late for nukkad natak" preeti said as she tied the red duppta around her "yes lets go" shanaya said as they left.. and the backside of stage, as they where in line "all the best guys" sparsh said, he was manging the whole event..sparsh tumbs up with everyone later he looks at her brother who give him a soft smile, sparsh happy face changed to sad one and left, shanaya saw all of that. and she looked at samar, she saw he is hurt, and he realised his mistake for what he has done, and he just wants his brothers love. shanaya, preeti, aanshi, rohan, ahan and saumya with rest started with there play and everyone gave there best, as everyone left.

shanaya saw nick and samar worried, she came forward and asked "whats wrong?" samar and nick looked at her and nick said "the light on the left is not getting on, we tried so many ways and samar found out that the wire is taken out. and it is in very highest place. "i will go" shanaya said "but.." samar said "there is one secret door which is near to the lights" shanaya said with a wicked smile "fine you go" nick said "by the way rashmi was hanging out with tyler" shanaya said nick turned around and before he could he said "i just come" and then he left "i also take a leave" samar said "samar wait," shanaya called before samar could leave.

"yes?" samar asked "now a days, or ever since aanshi birthday, i have noticed you have changed." shanaya said "wait, i did not came on aanshi birthday" samar told "what? you came that day remember? you wanted to kill me" shanaya said "shanaya i know i been quite a bad person, but that night i did not came, i was injured and was talking rest at home. my mom was even there with me" samar said 

"then who was the person who we saw..." shanaya said "i think i know, but i ask dhriti help and and tell you" samar said and shanaya nodded she saw him left and she realized that she had not talked about him wanting to say sorry to his brother.

she went back, took the lander, and used a bit of her magic to go up she found the door and opened it she got outside and saw the wire was unplugged she plugged it back and she looked ahead to see the final act of the day, but then she heard jack in the box being wined up the music she was hearing which made her version blurry, she felt dizzy, with sweat.

rohan and saumya saw shanaya up, and with Rohan super vision saw shanaya and fell down "SHANAYA!" both of them shouted.

shanaya woke up, and she found herself in room "great, now where are we?" shanaya said as her feet touched ground and went down her head was pained, she went down and saw sakshi and preeti talking on the counter she came down, and both of them looked at her "you alright?" sakshi asked shanaya did not said anything, she saw coca-cola coming she took it and drink it sakshi pouted as she had ordered "no" shanaya said.

"shanaya, is everything alright?" preeti asked "no, i got a dream.. about the annual day" shanaya said looking at preeti "oh" preeti said "anyways, where are we and who reached here? and where is the masquerade ball?" shanaya asked looking at sakshi " near by, and remember the next location where we had to stay?  which is near to town everlock?" sakshi asked "yeah" shanaya said "there we are" sakshi said "what the.." shanaya said looking around.

"where is eric? and everyone else?" shanaya asked "everyone else is getting ready  like finding dress for the ball which is today, and eric is with Samar" preeti said "explaining about shapeshifters" Sakshi said "wait, Without me?" shanaya said 

"We also wanna know about shapeshifters," shanaya said as she, preeti, and sakshi came down samar  looked at them "right in time, eric went to drink water" samar said as the three of them took a seat "may i ask why we are learning about shapeshifters?" preeti asked "remember when Samar came on aanshi birthday and tried to kill me? well it was not him it was shapeshifters, and i guess they are part of the voidtalon," shanaya said samar give her a look and "how you know about the voidtalon?" he asked "shanaya did something happen? and why the voidtalon was after you?" preeti asked giving her deadly look, like she is going to kill her if she

shanaya smacked her lips and said "sparsh was under a spell, that i do not know what. and i saw him in the hospital when I and Samira were, i followed him and reached somewhere we have not explored much, we both somewhat fought i did not attack him by the way. and somehow i brought him back" 

"with a kiss?" sakshi asked with a smile appearing on her face shanaya give her a look and said "no, why? omg! sakshi how many times i told you to stop watching films that spell is broken with a kiss," shanaya said then looked at Samar and said "using a few my powers, and he was bruised badly as he went on serval fights and i asked him what happened he said he does not remember much he only remembers that he was under the spell and the voidtalon army is after him.. so two members came and wanted to kill him and how can i.. and so i fought with both of them as sparsh was weak, and perhaps i killed them when i went out of control," shanaya said as she started tapping her feet "you did a great thing killing them" samar said and shanaya looked at him 

sakshi and preeti give her side hug and the time eric came "did i come in wrong time?" he asked and shanaya smiled, "as shanaya said they are part of the voidtalon, they take shape of anyone, and can make anyone a fool with a snap. and eric was somehow fooled again." samar said "wait, what happened?" preeti asked looking at eric.

"my mom is sick , and she called me that she wanted to vist me.. long story short i went into trap, stayed there for 3 days and then i got a call from my uncle and i found out that my mom is with him.. and thats when i realized the mom who i was staying with..is not who i thought it was. and before i could do anything i was smacked in my head and then i woke him at the haunted house. ." eric said. sakshi then started saying "so the shapeshifters are bunch of popheads" and shanaya slapped her shoulder "you could say better" shanaya said 

as they were heading back, "have you talked to sparsh" shanaya asked to samar "i tried to, but he hates me." samar said with a smile and she knew it is fake "do not lie to me, samar.. i can see in your eyes, i know you both have differences but being with him when he is bottom of the lake or sit with him and listen to his rants and just a sorry will work.. " shanaya said 

"when is the masquerade?" nick asked "i told you 3 times at 6pm" rashmi said as she was picking an earring then nick looked at rohan and sparsh "ASK HER NA!" they shouted with no voice "so... i was thinking..." nick said looking at her "what?" rashmi asked "would you like to go out with me in masquerade as a date?" nick asked the closed his eyes "sure" rashmi said and sparsh and rohan hugged each other and started jumping in circles.

"why you are helping me? do you hate me?" samar asked "i did hate you, but when i saw the change in you.. i realized you are not as evil as i thought, and its..you know there is one part of me i always think some people act bad but they have a good heart but never show.. " before shanaya could completely samar hugged her "aww do not worry, everything will alright" shanaya said hugging him back.

 samar came inside the room as sparsh called him for help. "you ready?" samar asked "just i am confused with what color blazer i should put on, sparsh said showing him red and white color "white" samar said "you sure?"  sparsh asked keeping red one "yes, white always suit's you" samar said with a bright smile sparsh smiled back "now get ready, and  we go together like old times" sparsh said 

"i have never seen this rohan." shanaya said as she came on balcony where rohan was there and rohan softy smiled. "is anything wrong?" shanaya asked "yeah..sort of..le" rohan said nodding "come on tell me" shanaya said "nothing just was missing mom and dad." rohan said "i miss them too. every day since we are stuck in this stupid thing" shanaya said then traced rohan hair "i know i should not say this.. but.. ever since we found about this game and i had little bit of positivity that we all survive but nowadays i feel.. that things might not work out for us this time.."

"why you..think like..that?" rohan asked shanaya closed her eyes "i just..do not feel good...and that kid..kanak.. came here for some reason.." shanaya said rohan can understand what shanaya is going through. they are in a place that they do not completely know about, finding out how the game was made, and randomly they are taken from here to there.. every human around the world has positive and negative feelings about the things around them.

rohan hold her right hand and said "we can do this, shanaya. we all will survive and we all will go back safe and sound.. and we finish this game once and for all.. so no one can face what we went through " and shanaya smiled. she looked ahead and said "lets go to that daam ball"

the masquerade ball began, Rashmi and nick came down from stairs, "i go and get some drinks" rashmi said with a smile. as she walked down aside.

"look at there girls, flirting with my man" preeti said to myra as she saw ahan talking to girls "do not be jealous yaar, leave them" myra said "what do you mean leave them, i wish to bang there heads with brick." preeti said with a pout. ahan looked at preeti and he understood she was jealous, he excused himself and walked towards her preeti looked aside and ahan smiled and said "does preeti want to go one a dance with me?" preeti planned not give her smile but the give up and said yes. and they both went to dance

"i feel fishy" samira said aaranv looked ahead and saw one guy in a mask eating fish "because one guy is eating a fish?" aaranv said as samira give him a death glare "well that was a bad joke" aaranv said to himslef "fishy as if i feel dark spirit around here" samira said looking around, 

the woman in a beautiful red sexy gown took out her black mask and she wore it over her head, she took out light pink lipstick and applied to her lips, she looked at herself in the mirror and flipped her right side of hair aside. and smiled, she inside the ball party with a cute smile on her face. 

sparsh felt a bit uneasy suddenly, dhriti and samar looked at asked "is everything alright?" dhriti asked "yeah..just had a feeling" sparsh said "i know that face, you.." samar was not able to say her name.. it was not like he said her name before. but coming to this place made him feel like her evil shadow is around wandering, waiting for a perfect time to come in front of there eyes and do her mischief.

and as for sparsh it was not the first time when he felt something bad related to her will happen, ever since he got to know the truth about the woman he once loved.

preeti was walking around seeing if some clue is there but then she saw "riva di?" she said with a tumbling voice as she saw her sister flirting with some guys saying she is happy to be here. as she saw this she felt anger rush towards her mind.. "RIVA!" she shouted riva looked at her and smiled "oh look! my sister is here! lovely to finally meet you!"riva said as she got up and went to hug her she pushed her hands away and left "preeti" riva called out her name  "we are not sisters, we are not friends..we nothing.. I waited for you i missed you every second.. and here you are flirting with guys and saying i am happy to be there" preeti said and she left.

"shanaya" aanshi called out as she saw shanaya in red gown wearing black mask shanaya looked at her as aanshi was coming towards her "i thought you will come bit late" aanshi said "yeah.. just you know.. badly wanted to come in a  party," shanaya said as she took a sip of her drink. "thats...great" aanshi said as she was able to notice shanaya changed behavior,
"now i need to go..bye" shanaya said as she took a leave.

aanshi mind was rushing with many thoughts shanaya did not badly wanted to come to party, how that it changes all of sudden. and before leaving for the party she saw shanaya changing into blue gown.

shanaya wore a beautiful blue gown with off-shoulders she was looking like..in sakshi words.. cinderella, she wore her mask which was a mixture of blue and white. she came down to the ball and saw her friends some dancing and some around eating food like sammy 

her eyes saw rohan and saumya they looked at her and waved hi shanaya waved it back and she walked towards them, "mom would be so proud by now" rohan stated "why so?" saumya asked looking at him, "nevermind, he is just being an idiot as he always is" shanaya said waving him off "ouch" rohan remarked.

"you look cute today" samar said "you flirting with me samar?" sakshi said eating cupcake "you can take it like that" samar said with a smile.

sparsh went to get some juice, as he went to a counter he saw a good looking guy asking the women who wore red gown out to dance with him. "mind to go out with a dance with a handsome guy?" he asked "sure! would love to! but where is he" women said as she acted for searching him. which was sounding like shanaya..

the guy went with a bit of sadness on his face, sparsh took a seat beside her and he was bit of proven right. "shanaya" sparsh called out in low tone. shanaya looked at him and her eyes turned bit soft, as her eyes was telling that she has not seen him for years.

"ye..ah.." shanaya said "i thought you would be with rohan and saumya looking for clues," sparsh said "yeah..ro..rohan said to spread out.. and i felt a throat..bit dry so i came here" shanaya said as she took a sip of her drink "and you rejected a guy? wow..i never knew you can do it like that" Sparsh stated "there are many things you do not know about me sparsh, people change with time and new things.. a new habit gets added in people life.. and beside we never truly understand people how much close we are to them and beside i have a taste. " shanaya said as she give a wicked smirk on her face and from that moment he understood. this is not the shanaya who he knew, yes sometimes she is stubborn, gets angry easily and is very much clumsy , but she has an open heart and she can easily say yes to a person for dance, but if the person acts something stupid she would beat them up.

"excuse me" shanaya heard a guy she turned around and saw someone "yeah?" shanaya said with a confused face "would you like to go with me for a dance?" he asked shanaya let out a breath "yes" she said she did not wanted to break his heart as she went to dance floor with him

"what happened? i never saw prince charming like this....." shanaya give him a tease smile and left "prince charming" sparsh said then he remembered something.. which made him  sure, she is not shanaya.. she is..

"shit shit" sparsh got of from chair and saw her going where everyone is crowed, he got stop as he saw shanaya dancing with someone, he felt different like blood boiling.  but then he saw inaya looking at shanaya with purple eyes he saw around that some people around her holding a knife. as saumya was looking around she found a note,she took the note and saw "i would find you" she felt confused. later she went down  and saw rohan who asked her for dance  sparsh looked aside and saw the guy twirling shanaya then he walked towards the crowd, the guy spin shanaya after he said something to her shanaya was spining and then he got her. shanaya was talking deep breath they both were looking at each other but sparsh was bit aww stuck, "what are you doing here?" she asked "well we all were invited to the party so i am here" sparsh said as he let out a smirk "very funny" shanaya said with a pout they both were dancing "who was that guy?" sparsh asked "oh he asked me, and i did not wanted to say no so"  shanaya said, well sparsh did knew that. during the dance shanaya was able to noticed sparsh worried  face "is something wrong?' she asked "nothing.. " he said lying to her "oh okay" shanaya said nodding her head "well.. did you found anything?'he asked trying to change subject "nothing, i am just feeling that, someone pulled a prank on us to get us here. but some part in me thinks something bad might happen." shanaya said then she was about to trip down, but sparsh hold her on time and caught her hips so she can be on her feet "you are very clumsy detecive, be carefull you know that i can not be around always right?" he said in tesing tone shanaya cheeks felt little red but why? why is she feeling like this? why is she feelings things that she can not tell.. every time when she even touch her hand they had some kind of tensed moment some what, didsparsh also felt the same thing? or something is happning only to her? they contine there dance but then they both heard a body dropping down they both look ahead and saw a dead body lying on floor, shanaya was getting visions of chriag death she was feeling worried and sad sparsh hold her hands as shanaya looked at him, he is always there for her when ever she is down or low or worried or need a shoulder. she could easly tell that sparsh is hiding something from her now, as his face was also worried but worst.

 "sparsh" shanaya called with her soft tone, "yeah" he said "is everything alright, you look worried," shanaya said sparsh tapped her feet, her mind was giving him two options, 

1. tell shanaya she had a person who looks like her and is an evil wicked backstabbing witch and she is the one who created the game (maybe)

2. do not tell shanaya, and go to visit samar and tell him that she is back. and there she murders 34 people, she loves when the blood flows.

but before he could say anything shanaya took his hands and they both reached to a corner "now if you do not tell me what's wrong i will use my mind-reading powers" shanaya said holding his blazer "do not dare!" sparsh said "then tell me" shanaya said "fine..there is someone  she is an evil witch , the one who created this game and added monsters  and she is the first love one mine , and she backstabbing and if i am right she is the one behind all this." sparsh said 

shanaya let go of his blazer "i know it must be lot to take in" sparsh said as he saw shanaya getting worried "yeah, sort of" shanaya said then sparsh was forwarding to hold her hand but hold it back. then she looked at sparsh and asked "what's her name?" sparsh took a while then he said "innaya"

"is she back?" they both heard samar voice they both looked at him "samar.." sparsh said "sparsh answer me," samar said his voice was sounding worried, "yes.." sparsh said "we have to find her" samar said as he started walking around "we both go and find her" sparsh said as he went near to samar and as they both where going "what you mean you two? i am also coming," shanaya said  sparsh turned back and said "no! stay around others"  

shanaya made an o shaped face as they both left. "how dare they" shanaya said "where will she be?" samar said as they looked around and then they both heard a piano tone "there" sparsh said pointing towards the room.

and shanaya was finding them, she found aanshi, samaira and preeti, "guys" shanaya said taking of her mask as she  coming towards them "shanaya, riva" aanshi said as she was not able to say "wait, what about riva?" shanaya said "she is back, she is alive" preeti said in bit anger tone.

"what is going on today, first innaya then riva" shanaya said "wait, who is this innaya?"samira asked

as both Samar and sparsh enter the room, they saw innaya playing piano she stopped and she got up, "whats wrong?"  innaya said acting as shanaya noticing there angry face and they where not happy to see her "oh looks like i been caught, thats great i hate acting as some one who i am not" innaya said as she took of her black mask and kept on table "hello brothers," innaya said 

"you back" sparsh said "yes, missed me? perhaps not.. became there is my look a like here..what is her name.. shanaya" innaya said as she took her drink "now a days i have an eye on you guys, and noticing how you both kept all with the devil..stuff" innaya said samar used her super speed took her glass from her and threw it towards the ground "way to ruin the best reunion! you are such a party popper samar" innaya said as she pushed samar away "you died, how you came back to life?" sparsh said "i have many lifes sparsh, and besides i am the one who helped your dumb father to make this game to protect the goddam world into the deadly game of all time," innaya said looking at him "can we change helping into manipulation, it may sound better," sparsh said, and innaya let out a wicked laugh.

"so it was your plan? to get us into all this?" samar asked "yup! i was bored, so did this" innaya said as she took out her  spear "and lets's have more chat"innaya said.

"mrya have you seen sparsh and samar?" dhriti asked myra "i just saw them there" myra said pointing aside dhriti looked at shanaya as she falls down her knee and she felt a sharp pain from her shoulders "shanaya your back" aaranv shouted as shanaya touched her back and blood was coming out, and her hand was also bleeding "ahh" innaya shouted as sparsh stabbed her back she said "if you try to kill me sparsh, your girlfriend shanaya  will also get hurt, and in fact she is" innaya shouted as she twisted samar hand and threw him away.

she created rope and tied sparsh by magic and as samar was about to attack her she tied his hand went aside and samar punched sparsh "ouch" sparsh said "sorry" samar said innaya remaing rope which made them both bump there heads and fell down "i had a great time talking to you guys, now toddles!" innaya said waving them bye "sparsh! samar!" shanaya shouted as  rohan,saumya, sakshi, aaranv, dhriti, aanshi found them along with shanaya. 

"are you guys okay?" rohan asked "no.." samar said sparsh noticed blood in shanaya hands but before he could say anything shanaya started saying "i told you guys! you never listen to me!" shanaya said as she looked as there wound looking worried "i am okay" sparsh said as he did not wanted shanaya to be in more worried "this not looks like okay sparsh!" shanaya shouted and then she heard kanak crying voice "i just come" and shanaya left "shanaya!" sparsh called.

as shanaya open the door and saw dead bodies around one eye popped out, she looked around and saw innaya, shanaya wide her eyes she was looking exactly like her.. the blood all over innaya hands holding one artifact , which more looked like a toy,

innaya vanished into thing air, and left a note, "come and get kanak, before i find her"

shanaya came back to the place where they where staying, and saw sparsh and samar who was badly injured  and rest of her friends "where were you?" rohan asked "i heard kanak crying voice, and i guess she is held hostage to my look a like innaya" shanaya said then eyed at sparsh.

"I WAS RIGHT!" aanshi shouted and all of them looked at her. sparsh took a seat in the garden side, he saw all the fairy lights around him the memories of innaya and her was rushing through his mind..tears fell down from his cheeks, "mind if i take a seat?" shanaya said he wiped his tears and he looked up , she was still in her gown and her bruised was somewhat healed. and said "yes" shanaya took a step up and then took a seat close to him.

"so, your first love looks like me?" shanaya said and sparsh nodded slowly "and looks like she did something really bad in your past life.." shanaya said looking at him and sparsh again nodded "she is like a more bitch side of me huh?" shanaya said which made sparsh laugh a little shanaya healed a cut which was behind his neck. then looked ahead.

"you have many questions right?" sparsh asked looking at her "yeah. but now i do not think it is time." shanaya said "i understand.." sparsh said and both of them remain silent for while then sparsh said "you look beautiful by the way, like cinderella" and sparsh felt a regret why on earth i said this UGHHH sparsh thought  shanaya give him a smile and said "thank you and it was sakshi idea by the way.. ever since i told her the story about cinderella my mom version the one i always love.. she told me to wear this gown" shanaya said and bite her inner cheeks "you look great too bye the way" shanaya said not looking at him

"thank..you" sparsh said then he looked at her hands he was bit scared to tell her that how it happen to her. sparsh looked at her and his mind was rushing with many thoughts, "am i fall.. no she  is..just my..but.." 

 shanaya turned around and both of shared a quick sudden kiss, shanaya blinked her eyes twice  she looked ahead and she felt her cheeks turning red sparsh was also bit of a shock "i think i should go" shanaya  said as she got up and left she heard sparsh calling shanaya closed the door and kept her hands on lips, and sparsh was sitting there thinking what just happened. "why, shanaya you kissed him!" shanaya said to herslef, she headed back to sakshi and her's room went to washroom and changed her dress she saw sakshi and samar talking "guys.." shanaya said slowly "what happened shanaya" samar asked.

"why you are so silent?" ahan asked to sparsh as he was not able to say to him and aarnav that what just happened. "i and sparsh.. shared uh" shanaya said and used her hands to show a quick kiss "why on earth you are making a heart shape" sakshi said "she is telling she kissed sparsh" samar said then looked at shanaya "wait you kissed shanaya?" aaranv  asked "yes..quick one" sparsh said "who was the one who made first move?" ahan asked "me" sparsh said "i made the first move" shanaya said "so you are in love with him my heart is so happy right now" sakshi said and shanaya threw her the pillow.

missed me darling? chapter nine is heree..

okay, 4359 words, WOW.. but worth it! to much Shit happened. also yes innaya 🔪 is the here!! villain of the storyyy or of the gameee  and she has an amazing story to tell and riva is back! well time to see and witness who is riva more ! also samar and sparsh rebounding...😭 i did not blush at all *i did* while writing shanaya and sparsh quick kiss 😘!   and what with the toys? also love is blewing in the airr.. but things will turn dark from here... also where is alisha? who knows? what was your thoughts on chapter? you can rant it out!
