Kids were gossiping among themselves in the hallways, as the school bell rang loudly, indicating the start of the first period of school.

Everyone was gossiping, at least doing something. Some were couples praising each other, some were already bullying the other kids even though the day just started.

Jungkook, however, was just minding his own business, earphones plugged in, music blasting and separating him from all the chaotic events happening near him.

Jeon Jungkook, an introvert who just doesn't find any amusement in chattering loudly, bullying others, and instead finds peace in living in his own small world.

His small world had no one, just him, his parents, his love for music and his poor definition of his dedication to studies.

"Jungkook-ah~!"

And how could we forget the other six dorks of his life?

Jungkook was pulled out of his world when someone grabbed his earphones and stopped the music. He didn't need to turn his head to know who it was, he knew very well. Only these few people bothered him, others didn't care about his existence.

"You should not wear headphones during school, you know? You will get late to class. And didn't you have a test today? Are you prepared for it?"

"Jimin, please shut up. And yes, I am prepared." Jungkook answered without bothering to look at him.

"Yeah. As prepared as Jin getting younger." Taehyung snorted, making the other two snicker as well.

"Why is it always about me?! Don't you have a life to live?! Why his test has gotten anything to do with my age?! You little mo--"

"Yah, Jin. Language, we are still in school grounds. Don't cuss." A young Hoseok spoke from behind, a charming smile on his face as usual. Seokjin grumbled and turned his head to the side.

"But they are right though. Jungkook, the last time you said you were prepared, you got some nasty grades." Jimin said while tugging his backpack, and running a hand through his black hair.

"I got a pretty good grade." Jungkook shrugged.

"You got a F in your test, you brat." Seokjin snarled. Hoseok chuckled nervously, calming down the annoyed older one, before turning to the youngest.

"Oh." Was all Jungkook replied.

Jungkook was never good with studies. He lacked a good amount of brain cells, and didn't usually work with his brains, physically most of the times.

That's why it was a shocker when Jungkook suddenly suggested to go and take a look at the dead bodies themselves and not depend on the reports since obviously, no matter how many times they try, the reports would be messed up everytime. And them going there late at night led to a shocking news.

Two bodies were missing.

"What the..." Was what Jungkook replied when he saw the empty mortuary.

It didn't take long for the news to spread among his colleagues.

Taehyung, who accompanied him in this task, immediately called Jimin, cause he knew that the body Jimin saw back in the house was one of the bodies that went missing.

More likely after twenty mintues, the Special Violent Crimes Unit was here, a solemn expression clouded over their faces. It was obvious, the entire team was, once again, baffled.

"What is going on....?" Jimin asked, voice not a octave higher than a whisper, sweating as if he had ran a marathon till here.

It was obvious, Jimin was the most shocked. He didn't expect the body he saw to be the one of these....He was not prepared to be attacked twice the same day.

He ran a hand through his hair, inhaling deeply before blowing a raspberry. He was tensed.

"How come no one noticed the bodies going missing? Is this a joke?" Namjoon gritted his teeth, glaring at the poor nurses and doctors surrounding the morgue.

"Did you guys check something? CCTV?" Seokjin asked, feeling restless due to all the scenarios they had been going through.

"We tried. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary in the footage. It was normal." Taehyung replied, biting his nails while thinking.

Seokjin sighed, feeling himself get irritated. His nose was already aching, and the pain was spreading to his head, causing more trouble for him. He groaned as his head throbbed harder each second.

Yoongi noticed it as he suggested for him to go home, but only for Seokjin to refuse the offer. He was the senior, and he was simply the most needed figure at the moment.

"Any records? As far as I know, no one other than assigned nurses and doctors can enter morgues. Especially in a hospital as big as this. And the monitor over there is supposed to have records of who enters or not. Did you check that?" Seokjin raised a brow over at Taehyung, who sighed.

"I am not standing here around like a fool for nothing, Jin. I already checked everything. The worker lists, the records, CCTVs....nothing out of the ordinary." He frowned, shoulders sunk down as he suddenly felt the defeat hit him.

Seokjin's mouth was agaped as he wondered of how it can be possible. Roaming his eyes around the room, across every single being, until they landed over the most quiet individual.

Ah.

How could he forget? They were called special crimes unit for nothing. They had to solve the most impossible of puzzles, with clues which were not visible to naked eyes, but to power of brain. The clues which were hidden could be seeked with the help of this one individual. The Assassin of the unit.

Hoseok's eyes flickered over to Seokjin's, who was staring at him with a knowing gaze and without a word spoken except for a nod, Hoseok turned on his heels, and left.

Seokjin sighed and turned his head around, to not let anyone notice of what he did. He didn't want unwanted attention. But of course, one individual had to take notice. Their spy.

A smirk and a head tilt greeted Seokjin as he turn around, only to glare at the person.

Jimin nodded and let his expression change. He didn't want unwanted attention either.

Hoseok was quietly surveying through the halls of the almost empty hospital and over to the same hallway where Seokjin had seen the bloody written letter.

'You're handsome but I like the cutie more.'

That's what he had read, and he was more weirded out that freaked. He wondered whether the criminal was a girl or a homosexual.

Well, whoever it was....They were playing good.

The handwriting was beautiful. Too much good for a criminal, especially when written with raw blood.

Raw blood?

"What?" Hoseok's brow furrowed deeply, a upside down heart formed on his lips. The incident with Seokjin happened hours ago...how was the blood still fresh?

He brought his fingers closer to his nose to smell, only to be greeted with a sweet smell. He pulled away immediately. "Huh."

Strawberry?

"Now that's creepy." He mumbled. He touched the liquid again, and this time, he knew it wasn't blood but a too thin substance similar to jam.

"Is this a kid's prank? Like...?" He stood up and wiped his fingers and walked further and out of the hospital.

He got into his car and drove over to the house where the Songs were murdered. He stepped into the eerie atmosphere surrounding the house, a cold air hitting him.

He peered outside the window, to see tall grasses grown and frogs jumping from one side to other. Observing the length of the grasses, he mentally noted to be aware of snakes when stepping into the garden.

He wore his gloves, and switched on the lights. Blinking to adjust to the sudden brightness, he gasped when he saw all the carvings and writings covering the walls.

Another horrendous sight, but this time, no blood.

'Hello! Welcome to the house where the second murder was done!'

'How are you? You have a beautiful smile!'

"What the..." Hoseok mumbled, feeling creepy at each carving he read. They weren't meant for anyone but him. Smiles? Hosoek always had a beautiful smile, despite his inner self.

'Don't worry! I know you well.'

"Huh."

'You're too beautiful, you know. Too handsome.'

He turned his head to read another note on the left side of the wall.

'And it hurts to see beautiful people turn ugly.'

"HUH." Hoseok exclaimed loudly.

'And that is why they should not be born.'

A gust of wind was all it took Hoseok to turn around and grab the person by their wrist and pin them down harshly on the floor.

Not so soft, he sat on top of the person, grabbing their throat ans knocking the wind out of their windpipe, and snarling at whoever the one tried to attack him.

They could attack a professional. What a joke.

"Who are you?" Was the first question he asked. The masked killer didn't answer, amd just simply laid limp.

Hoseok growled in anger and removed the mask, only to be suprised.

"What. The. Fuck." He whispered in shock.

The attacker was dead.

"But I didn't--"

"It wasn't you, Hoseok."

Hoseok threw the small dagger at the direction of the sound, and loud thud to be heard later. The knife had hit the wall.

Jimin appeared in from the shadows, a blank expression on his features. He slowly  pulled his baffled friend away from the dead body.

Hoseok stumbled a bit, watching Jimin's every move like a hawk. Jimin turned around the dead body, to show him what exactly killed the attacker.

A chip.

"Isn't that...?" Hoseok asked. Jimin nodded, and stood up. He faced the stunned latter and replied, "Yes. That's a chip that is connected to the person. With a tap, it could kill anyone. Within a snap. It's deadly. Suprised they have such advance technologies."

"But..." Hoseok was still shocked. "How...?"

Jimin grabbed Hoseok's face, and made him look into his eyes.

"I was shocked too. And believe me, after reading the files and going through them, I realised one thing."

"What?" Asked Hoseok, "What did you realise?"

Jimin slowly turned Hoseok's head to the side, facing a wall on the right. Hoseok's breath was caught in his throat, he was beyond shocked.

He shouldn't be this suprised, he pretty much knew this, but still, this was still a bit beyond of what he thought.

Jimin looked him in the eyes again, now darker expression than before cascaded over his beautiful face, as he spoke.

"Hoseok, you see this right?" Hoseok nodded, still watching over. "You know what this means right?"

He nodded again. Hoseok's eyes ran over the last note he didn't see.

'Nice combats! Knew that! Knew that! But still....Good.'

"Whoever it is, knows everything about us, considering this was already written and not fresh." Jimin sighed. He looked at the note himself, before feeling shivers running down his spine.

"We are being watched."
