Yoongi sighed in annoyance.

"Are we even gonna leave this hospital today? Or what?" He asked, rolling his eyes for the umpteenth time, while staring at Seokjin whose nose was bandaged.

"I am hurt, and that's what you care about?" Seokjin spoke in a nasal voice, glaring daggers at Yoongi, who obviously didn't care.

"I wanna relax for a second please. You aren't the one going through files after files each day and looking up after five idiots, Jin. It's me."

"The hell you mean by that?"

"Exactly what you heard."

The quarrel was, gladly, stopped before it could go further when Jungkook along with Hoseok stepped inside the ward.

As soon as Jungkook's eyes landed on Seokjin's bandaged nose, a hideous snort escaped from him, and he turned around to control himself, more like his laughter.

Seokjin raised a brow, somehow knowing the reason behind that snort of his, "What was that for?"

"Your nose! Oh god! Not so handsome anymore, eh?" Jungkook wheezed, trying to not fall down while laughing so hard.

It took every single nerve in Jin's body to not stand up and slap the remaining brain cells out of Jungkook. He could have done so, but thinking how the poor boy barely has any 'brain' to begin with, he sighed and dropped the idea.

"Hey, it's not funny, okay? He is hurt, Kook. Imagine yourself in his shoes." Hoseok tried to calm the laughing idiot next to him, but to no avail.

Soon, the door opened again and stepped in Jimin with a straight face, probably here to discuss something important. Though, the serious expression didn't remain for long as soon as his eyes landed on Seokjin's bandaged nose, again, and with a cute snort, we lost Jimin as well.

Seokjin's eyes widen as he gaped at how Jimin could laugh like that when he almost went through the same situation not so long ago.

Hoseok rolled his eyes and Yoongi rubbed his temples, both of them annoyed at how these two even got recruited to begin with. Especially, Jungkook with such a pint sized brain.

"Oh God, just shut up already!" Yoongi yelled at the two, who pursed their lips, following the older one's command.

Both of their faces were turning red from holding in their laughs, and this time, Hoseok was the one who snapped.

"Oh come on! This isn't something to laugh at! Jin clearly went through something serious to be sitting here with his nose bandaged looking like a clown! You two peanut sized brains could shut up and listen or either get out!"

The room went silent. Hoseok slowly looked over at everyone's reaction. Jin had a blank look, Yoongi was staring at him with wide eyes, and Jimin and Jungkook were shocked as well.

"Did you just..." Jimin trailed off, Seokjin continuing. "....Call me a clown?"

Hoseok faced palm so hard he was sure he had is hand imprinted on his face.

He groaned, clearly done with the shit presented by his team and glared at them, "I am signing a resignation letter! I don't wanna work with this team anymore!"

The door opened once again and this time Namjoon and Taehyung stepped inside. However, this duo didn't laugh out, they maintained their serious expression, and got straight to the topic.

"We searched up the files you required." Namjoon spoke, and this one sentence was enough to get Jimin back to his senses.

Hoseok cheered internally that finally everything was calm.

"All of them?" Jimin asked, his funny expression and laugh gone a long time ago.

Taehyung had this very serious expression, one he had when he absolutely focused and wasn't in any mood of jokes, no matter how much funny it was. This was the Taehyung the team needed.

"Not all of them. As you had said, someone did mess up with the files. One page from all the files went missing."

Jimin frowned, "What information did it carry?"

Taehyung sighed, and stared at the grounds for a few seconds before, staring up at a nervous Jimin.

"Autopsy reports."

"Well fuck."

"I wonder what happens when you fight with people. Like, how do you manage to proof the innocent ones wrong and guilty ones right?" The drunk lady spoke with a slurry voice, the alcohol in her system messing with her brain.

"Like...You for real? Hyun-ae, I am a lawyer who works for good, not for bad. How much did you drink?" The other woman, who was sober than Hyun-ae, spoke while keeping her eyes on the road.

"Not too much. You know it's just me acting like me, Mi So." Hyun-ae replied, resting her head against the window.

Mi So rolled her eyes, "You think too much. And sometimes, half of them don't even make any sense!"

That was indeed true. Lee Hyun-ae, a woman in her mid twenties, who had no absolute job because she didn't need one, you see, a rich kid, and just because she was free all the time, she thought a lot. Sometimes it was annoying for Mi So to handle her, considering that those two lived together, but since they were best friends, and Hyun-ae didn't want to live in that strict household anymore, she was here with her.

"Geez. I just wanted to know why you became a lawyer instead of being a model?" At her words, Mi So clicked her tongue in annoyance, tired of hearing the same thing again on repeat everyday. "I mean like, you're so beautiful! Every man dreams of having to have a woman such as you in their arms! You even got a job offer as a model from a famous fashion brand! You nuts?" Hyun-ae looked at her ridiculously, as always.

Mi So didn't reply as she turned the corner and stopped at a traffic light. She sighed, and looked over to her buddy.

"Jesus, for how many times do I need to repeat myself? I was never meant to be on that stage. It's not where I belong. I had always wanted to fight for the right, and that's exactly what I do."

Hyun-ae leaned back on her seat, a small pout on her lips, as she kept on thinking on Mi So's reply.

"But the only rights you fight for are women rights. Like, rape, woman abuse, and whatever like that."

"Hey, don't say it like that. You're a woman too, imagine if something like that happened to you? You would laying dead in a grave."

"Someone won't let that happen." Hyun-ae smirked.

"And that someone hasn't entered your life yet." Hyun-ae felt her smirk drop in an instant. She pouted once again, and hit Mi So on the shoulder. "Meanie-head."

Mi So smiled as she glanced over at Hyun-ae. Even though she was the younger one, Hyun-ae acted like the younger one among them.

Mi So was sure of one thing.

If someone were to fall in love with Hyun-ae, they were to be the luckiest person in the world.

Though, Mi So's smile dropped soon after she she heard police sirens and police cars passing by in speed. Hyun-ae frowned and leaned forward, gaze following the cars in curioisity.

"What's wrong? Something happened? They are so much in a rush." She asked her friend, who had a serious expression.

Being a lawyer, Mi So was always updated to every sort of crime report and accidents going around in the country.

And she absolutely knew why the police were in so much rush.

She sighed, a deep frown cascaded upon her lips, as she leaned back in her seat.

"I hope it isn't another murder scene they are going to."

Hyun-ae looked at her with wide eyes, shocked upon hearing her words. Oh she was sober by now for sure.

"What?"

It was night already, everyone in their own houses, relaxing after such a tiring event. However, Jimin was wide awake, going through each and every file over and over again.

His whole study was ruined with papers and folders scattered from here to there.

The Byuns.

The Kangs.

The Chois.

The Ryus.

The Songs.

Jimin noted them down in a notepad, and then moved on forward to the Byuns.

"Byuns are a business family with fashion as their main business. They were slowly rising to fame. Their family consisted of a mother to two children, a boy and one girl, and a father. They were said to be a happy family.

Their daughter, Byun Audrey, was a brilliant student, who excelled at almost every thing in academics." A sad smile graced Jimin's features, realising that such an innocent life was killed and she was still not given justice. She was amazing, and a long future ahead. But, Jimin's smile turned to a frown after he read further.

"The girl was found dead in her bedroom in an incoherent way. Total twenty deeps wounds were found in her stomach, as she was stabbed twenty two times with a Gerber freeman folding knife out of which, the two other stabs were found in her heart."

Jimin literally went blank. A shiver ran down his spine, and he could feel himself break into a cold sweat.

The autopsy reports are right here. In my hands. How come have Taehyung not seen these?

Setting this feeling of his aside, he continued to read.

"The next part was her face. Her face was carved. Her lips were cut from the side, and were stretched out to what seemed like a smile. Her eyes was carved out as well with crosses over her eyelids."

That's when Jimin started losing his shit.

A grin.

A kid.

"Okay." Jimin plopped the file over his desk, and placed his hands on his hips. He knew he was losing himself to a panic attack, but he had to think properly. "It's impossible. The bodies are in a morgue. How come would it be there? No one is supposed to enter the morgue where these bodies are kept! Pshh! It's impossible." He chuckled to himself.

He looked out the window, looking over at the sparkling city of Seoul.

He was startled when his phone rang, giving him a heart attack.

"Jesus, I am jumpy again." He mumbled to himself and picked up the call. He leaned on the wall, and his eyes once again landed on the file over the desk.

He could feel his heart racing, he knew something was off.

But it wasn't possible, so he shrugged it off.

"Officer Park speaking. How may I--"

"Jimin-ah." Taehyung's grave and deep voice spoke over the call.

"W-What?"

"Two corpses have went missing from the morgue."

Silence.

Taehyung remained silent as well, waiting for a reply. He knew that the body Jimin saw back in the house was one of the bodies that went missing.

Jimin smiled. A blank smile.

He knew he was done for. He knew it.

"Jimin?"

Well, Jimin was in a state of frenzy.

"Oh crap." He chuckled.

"Uh..."

"CRAP!"

And Jimin ran out of his house, grabbing his holster and jacket.

He wasn't scared anymore.

He was terrified.

This is some serious sort of fuckery going on in my life.

And it indeed was.

Just not with his life only, the other six's as well, and the worst part?

No one knew what kind of fuckery was actually going on.
