"Ah if it isn't the devastating widow, you're here to get your ass handed to you again?"
Along the bright Friday morning sprung a young and bright sun, hitting the horizon to let people know it was time for the day to start. Exhausted people arose the streets and made their way towards their job. Stress filled the streets of Paris as many people roamed the city. Along the stress walked a hidden figure in a red large robe which covered their face and body, only to show their beautiful brown hair. In peace, she stopped at a small farmers market grabbing some flowers and putting them in a basket that she held.
"Bonjour, puis-je avoir un lot de chrysanthème blanc et de loup-garou?" I spoke as I looked up at the man. As soon as I spoke the man flinched to the sound of my voice. In flower pickers' ways of thinking, both Chrysanthemum and wolfsbane together only meant one definition, and that was death has appeared along the horizon... or will happen.
(Translated)"Good morning, can I have a batch of white Chrysanthemum and wolfsbane?"
He faked a smile and fidgeted his breath as he bent down to his truck to grab the flowers. "Oui bien sûr" He smiled as I returned it as well. If I didn't know better this man just pissed his pants, I could spell the fear just leaking down his leg. Was there something on my face or something?
(Translate) "Yes, of course"
I left a grin on my face as I gave him the money, and made my way towards a big building shaped like a dog toy. Shortly after walking along the beautiful streets of Paris, I felt a rush. A blind felt rush filled the air, I smiled to myself and took a deep breath. For a second, I thought everything was real, pathetic. Forgetting what really was going on, I was on a red room assignment. No details just an objective.
Sometimes I dream of having the leash around my neck being burned off, having the feeling of walking to grab some flowers just because they would make my apartment look more decorated is all I wanted.
Just before entering the building, I shook the emotions off and made my way in. I could feel my robe still wrapped around me, and the soft fabric hit the tough leather of my suit. It was the only thing protecting my cover from being exposed. Without causing a commotion I walked around the front desk and made my way up the stairs.
I took my time walking along the empty staircase, only to collect my thoughts. It was like a flip of a switch, I quickly grab the knife from my back and gripped it with my bare hand craving the blood of the victim of who I would be killing.
I grinned as I hid behind the hood of my red robe, I made it to the fourteenth floor without losing a breath. I quietly open the door finding the room filled with cubicles. Only one cubicle light was on and the sound of typing, which caused me to grin. I slowly ripped off my robe exposing my gear and weapons wrapped around my body.
Still, with the basket filled with flowers, I held the dagger in my other hand. Stealthy I stood behind the cubicle ready to strike.
I quickly slide in and stabbed the empty chair expected it to be filled with the target but instead was a hologram phone with audio attached to it.
I villainously grinned, as I stood up and felt a presence fill the room... Three Presences filled the room.
"Ah if it isn't the devastating widow, you're here to get your ass handed to you again?" I smiled expecting the one and Only Natasha Romanoff standing by the door holding two weapons in her hands.
"If it isn't Alina Sokolov, back at it again with her villainous crimes. Who are you trying to kill this time? I sure hope it's not the man we're trying to protect." Natasha snarled, I faked a smile as I walked out of the cubicle to see a clearer image of the ex-assassin.
"Oh but it is. But now, answer my question. Which one of your ladies is gonna get their ass handed to them?" I left out a pause, smirking when I heard the clear commotion of movement coming from each corner. "Is it lucky contestant number one!" I sarcastically squealed with joy as I pointed to the corner where laid a man hiding behind a wall. "Orrrr contestant number two!" I pointed to the ceiling, hearing machinery above me. "Or is it number three, oh boy I hope it's three?" My voice went deadpanned as I pointed to Natasha.
My smile still lingered on my face when I smelted the fear Natasha brushed through her face, but only for a split second. "Where is he?" I looked at Natasha, the man from the corner walked closer towards me.
"You know I can't tell you that Alina." She tilted her head, shoving off the emotions.
"He's upstairs isn't he." I chuckled, "This was fun and all but I have to spilt, you know assassin things." I joked as I turned around expectantly to bend down and grab the robe that laid innocently on the floor. Instead, I slowly placed the basket down next to the robe and reached for my boot gun.
I could hear footsteps surround me. I swiftly turned around throwing the dagger straight to Natasha's face causing the war to begin. She quickly dodged the knife and ran towards me, I quickly wrapped my thighs around her neck as I hit the top of her head with the gun. Natasha quickly stubbled to the wall trying to pull me off her shoulders but failed.
"Barnes a Little help!" She tried to say underneath my leg. Natasha swiftly unravels herself off my grip and slides down to reach for her gun, causing her to make that ridiculous pose she does.
"Barnes? Not this pussy." I sighed as the figure behind the wall appeared. Barnes quickly shot a bullet right towards me, I moved before it hit the wall. "Hey, man not cool." I yelled out as I hid behind a cubicle, losing the gun in my hand.
I could hear their footsteps but they weren't talking like usual. "You guys are so loud, please keep talking more." I sarcastically spoke grabbing another knife and the gun from my thigh. I stood in a ready position waiting for one of them to attack first but I instantly jumped out and shot Natasha who was on the opposite side of the room from the man. I struck her on her shoulder causing her to duck, I ran to bucky and dropped him down to his knees as I slid under which knocked him down. I instantly hit him with the Glock of my gun but he quickly swerved and smashed the gun with his metal arm.
He then turned to me, grabbing me by the neck. I dropped my weapons and as my legs dangled off the floor. My hands held his metal arm, trying to loosen his grip. I was losing air and I was losing it fast. I began to tap desperately but before I knew it I reached for his face and slightly brushed my finger along his forehead.
"No don't do tha-" Natasha yelled but before she could finish I had already touched Barnes with my bare hands which caused him to fall unconscious on the floor.
I fell on my hands and knees gasping for air, I let out a few coughs but was interrupted by the woman kicking me to the floor. I laid on the floor holding my stomach as she hit again.
"That was rude." I hissed.
"Ya well, I'm not a nice person when you start to get violent." She hissed back, about to kick back I dropped her to the floor. I got up and put two fingers in her bullet wound, she moaned.
"Position two!" Natasha shouted as Barnes laid unconscious on the floor. Only two seconds later a man in a red and gold suit flew down from above us.
"Hello miss. Daeva widow" What a pleasure to see you this evening." His repulsors were aimed at me.
"It's morning dumbass," I growled at the man who flew in front of me. "Still having those nightmares? Is that way you forgot what the time of day is? Are you still seeing everyone around you die?" Ironman shortly got fluttered with emotions and impulsively flew straight for me. I swiftly dodged his embrace and touched his suit causing the suit to fall blankly to the floor. Tony laid deadpanned in the suit, trying to find a way out. I had sucked out all of the energy off the suit.
"The avengers. Pathetic." I scoffed as I turned around and grabbed my belongings off the floor. "You know if only you guys were good opponents I would be happy that I wasted my time wisely. But no, you all are amateurs, now I have to finish my mission." I said as I grabbed my weapons and jumped back up.
"Oh and Stark Change your Cologne, I could smell it through your suit." I joked, keeping my back towards them. "Alright 'Avengers' au revo-" Before I could finish my sentence, I was shot by a black widows 'widows bite.' Causing my body to hit the floor, along with my items.
"You couldn't have done that earlier," Tony whined before everything went black.
