BRIEF SUMMARY:

Emily Alvarez and Farkle Minkus meet on the first day of 7th grade, and as time goes on and both of them (along with their friends group) go through their own issues when it comes to growing up and coming of age, Emily and Farkle both realize that they'll be there for each other through all the highs and lows. Once they reach high school, they realize that they like one another as more than friends, thus giving them and their friend group a whole new set of problems.
