" It is our fate, I think to crave what is always given to another " Halaena said as she looked at the wet nurse, who was sitting on the ground playing with Jaehaera and Jaehaerys " If one possesses a thing, the other will take it away ".

" Yes, Princess ".

Suddenly the door opened and Arianne barged in with Otto behind her, Helaena smiled when she saw her mother.

" My love, have you see Aegon? " Arianne said softly but frantically to her daughter.

" N-Not here " Helaena shrugged.

" He's not in his rooms " Otto demanded causing Helaena to bow her head down, Otto looked at his daughter before storming out of the room.

" Father " Arianne called out but was ignored.

" Nanna, nanna " the twins said as they ran towards Arianne.

" Ahh, hello my loves.....are you being good for your mother and the wet nurse " Arianne smiled as she pulled the twins into her embrace.

The twins nodded.

" Could you take the twins to their rooms or the gardens, I need to speak with my daughter " Arianne said to the wet nurse who nodded, Arianne kissed the twins before letting the wet nurse pull them out of the room.

" What's happened? " Helaena asked worried as she noticed her mother's distress.

Arianne walked over and sat with her daughter, who moved closer to Arianne.

" Your father-" Arianne started.

" There is a beast beneath the boards " Haelana said frantically.

" Ohh, my dearest love " Arianne said as she pulled Halaena into her embrace and Halaena leaned into the embrace.

The two pulled away, when they heard footsteps and saw Aemond. Arianne's eyes teared up when she saw him and she began biting her cuticles and Aemond quickly kneeled in front of her, pulling her hand away from her mouth and kissed her hand softly before creasing it.

" Please don't hurt yourself, mother " Aemond said softly.

" I'm sorry " Arianne cried.

" Whats wrong, mama " Halaena asked worried.

" It's your father, he's dead " Arianne said softly.

Aemond and Halaena smiled causing Arianne at look at them confused.

" Why are you smiling? " Arianne asked.

" We never liked the man, mother he made your life a living hell " Aemond said as he and Helaena pulled their mother into a comforting embrace.

Arianne was in her chambers with Aemond sitting by the fire, he had refused to leave her side, A door opens to reveal Ser Criston.

" Prince Aegon's not to be found within the castle walls, Your Grace " Ser Criston said as he walked into the room after closing the door " Your father has sent Ser Erryk into the city to find him ".

" Ser Erryk knows Aegon, he has the advantage " Arianne sighed before walking over to her friend and loyal guard " I trust again to you, Criston.........and to your loyalty...........Aegon must be found and he must be brought to me.......the very fate of his future depends on it, I won't let my father force him to sit on a throne he doesn't want........." Arianne leaned closer to him and spoke in a whisper " Everything you feel for me as Your Queen.......and as your friend ".

" I will not fail you " Ser Criston said softly.

" I'll come with you " Aemond said causing the two too look at him.

" That would not be my desire, Aemond " Arianne said as she walked over to Aemond as he stood and held her softly " If anything has happened—".

" Cole needs me, mother " Aemond said " Ser Erryk isn't the only one, who knows Aegon's doings ".

Arianne looked at Ser Criston, who nodded.

" Be careful, I don't want any of you getting hurt " Arianne said softly and Aemond smiled at his mother softly, kissing her cheek before walking out of the room with Ser Criston.

Arianne sighed as she walked the halls on her way to the room, where Viserys body was. Suddenly she bumped into a large figure causing her to fall to the floor.

" Are you alright, My Queen " the husky and deep voice said as he helped her up.

Arianne looked up and saw the handsome face of Cregan Stark.

" Yes, I'm quite alright Lord Stark " Arianne smiled.

" I heard about the king.......I give my condolences, My Queen " Cregan said.

" Thank you, My Lord........I appreciate it......I must get going now, but I'll see you around Lord Stark " Arianne smiled.

" It would be a pleasure to see you again, Your Grace " Cregan smiled as he picked up Arianne's hand and kissed it causing a strange feeling in the pit of Arianne's stomach to appear, something she hasn't felt since Rhaenyra and Daemon.

Arianne stood by the window as the sisters wrapped Viserys in silks, she was going to burn his body in the pyre but she was going to have to wait for the mess to die down first. The sisters bowed to Arianne before walking out off the room as Arianne walked over to a table and picked up Viserys's crown before placing it on his chest.

Arianne then let out a loud sob as she leaned against the table, she wasn't crying for the loss of Viserys, she was crying out of relief because she was finally free and she didn't know how to feel but all she knew is she had to protect Aegon from ascending the throne.......from her father.

Arianne walked into Rhaenys's chambers with a small chest in her hands as the door shut behind her.

" I will do you the considerable courtesy of assuming there is a good explanation for the outrage of my treatment here this morning " Rhaenys snapped.

" My sincerest regrets for the lack of ceremony " Arianne said as she held the chest tightly.

" The King " Rhaenys questioned.

Arianne nodded.

" And you are usurping the throne? " Rhaenys asked.

" No......That is my fathers plan......I will not subject my son to something he doesn't want " Arianne sighed.

" I guess I should of figured....you may be a Hightower but like any mother you would do anything for your children " Rhaenys smiled " And what do you need from me? ".

" My son Aegon's guard Ser Erryk will take you to the dragonpit, so that you may flight on Melys to Dragonstone......." Arianne said " To give Daemon and Rhaenyra, a message..........I will not force you, of course ".

" I will do it and what will you be doing, while I give Daemon and Rhaenyra, the message? " Rhaenys asked.

" I will be making sure my son is okay and then I will deal with my father " Arianne said as she handed Rhaenys a box " Please only open it, when you're with Rhaenyra and Daemon ".

Rhaenys nodded and Arianne smiled before walking out of the room
