"Don't put Batman in the clam of death, Riddler, that's just going to make him mad," Fez whines as we watch cartoons in the basement. "God, you're stupid."

"Fez, for the last time, the Riddler can't hear you," Eric groans.

"Oh, let him have his fun," I chide.

"Riddle me this, Riddler," the boy continues. "When Batman escapes from the clam of death, who will kick your riddle-telling ass in?"

"Hey, Fez," Eric teases. "Riddle me this." He punches him in the arm and laughs with his tongue out.

"Then riddle me this," Fez reaches over and gives him a Wet Willy.

"Oh, but Fez, only if you riddle me this." Eric retaliates with a Purple Nurple.

"Ow! Riddle me this, you son of a bitch!" He launches himself at his friend, also tackling me in the process.

"Can you not do this while I'm in the middle of you two?" I protest.

"Oh my god, guess what?" Jackie beams as she slams the door behind her and scuttles in.

"Stop, Fez!" Eric cries. "This might actually be important."

They climb off of each other, Fez pulling me into his lap in the process.

"You guys!" Jackie chimes. "The Roller Disco Doo-Dah is coming to Kenosha this Friday!"

"Oh my god, guess what?" Hyde mocks before blowing a raspberry.

"See, now, that's the kind of thing that judges really frown upon during competition, Steven."

"Excuse me?"

"We're going to be partners!" She waits as he glares at her. "Skating partners!"

"Hey, how about instead, you hit me in the face with a wrench and I black out?"

"Steven! This is not just a last chance at roller disco. It's a last chance at love! Our love!" Kelso and I glance at each other before turning back to the conversation at hand. "Now will you or won't you skate with me?"

"I would Jackie," he sighs, "but seeing you in that cute little skating outfit, with all of your tassels and sequins, I might be tempted to... push you down a flight of stairs." He disappears into his old room.

"Alright, Jackie," Michael proposes, taking Hyde's seat, "what do you say, you and me, roller disco? I mean, we used to have some good moves, you know, like, when we did it, so... It would be like that, except with lights and skates."

"Okay. Uh, first of all, you make me sick. Second, you're lame and you make me sick. Third, you make me sick and any one of these guys would be a better partner than you, even Fez!"

Fez perks up, smiling up at me. "Really? Then I am in!"

"No, I didn't really mean it, Fez," she cringes.

His face falls and I play with the hair at the nape of his neck comfortingly. "Oh. Then I am out." He pauses. "Damn it, let me in!"

An hour later, Eric swaps himself out for Hyde and we silently watch the T.V. program.

"So, who will Jackie choose as her roller disco partner?" Fez asks, bringing up the conversation yet again. "Who, who, who?"

Jackie looks at Steven with her "love power" stare, and he immediately answers with, "No freakin' way," not even having to see her to know what she's doing.

"How very sad. No one to disco with. Now, where did I leave my potato chips?"

He has already told me his master plan and asked me to play along, so I do just that. "They're on the other side of the room, Fez."

"Oh, silly me." He stands and, on his way over, does a spin-step. While munching on his chips, he sighs. "Where did my soda go?"

"It's on the table on the other side of the room, Fez," I say monotonously. Hyde gives me a shit-eating grin, making fun of me without even saying anything, and I roll my eyes at him.

He struts by us and smoothly picks up the bottle, taking one glance at Jackie's gleeful face and flashing a charming smile. "Refreshing. God, my arm is so sore."

As he strikes a pose, Jackie claps quietly. "Wow, Fez!"

"Oh, come on, Jackie!" Kelso complains. "You're going to pick Fez over me? Watch this."

He stands behind the couch and performs some... strange movements, spinning and falling to the floor.

Fez takes his seat. "Jackie, I am just a roller disco machine. I don't work for nobody but you."

"Okay, Fez, we'll be partners. But listen to me. I want first prize. If I lose and some stupid, spoiled rich girl wins, I'll scream."

Michael groans from behind the couch. "I am really hurt!"

I hold an icepack up to Kelso's eye while he sits on my kitchen counter, although I can't imagine how his eye got injured.

"Man, I can't believe Jackie chose Fez," he mumbles angrily.

"I'm sorry, Mike," I shrug. "That's just how it is sometimes."

"It isn't fair."

"I mean, you cheated on her, so it kind of is. Now go. Donna's waiting for you, the competition starts in an hour."

"Okay. Thanks, Ana."

"No problem."

After I make sure he gets into the car, I make my way over to the Formans'.

Upon entering the basement, I frown at the lack of people. Although most of my friends are at the disco, Eric and Hyde wouldn't be interested in going.

I peek into the back room and Steven lays on the cot that remains there, flipping through a Playboy.

I raise my eyebrows. "Am I interrupting something?"

He takes notice of me and jumps backwards, practically throwing the magazine across the room. He collects himself and relaxes with a smirk. "If you'd like to join me, that'd be-"

I scoff, starting to shut the door before he grabs my wrist.

"I was joking, Princess," he chuckles.

"I know. Doesn't make it any less gross."

"Oh, you know you can resist me."

I step away from him, examining the empty beer cans littering the dusty floor. "Shut up."

"Ooh, I've got you flustered."

"I said shut up."

"What are you going to do?"

I sigh, turning to come face-to-face with him. "Where's Eric?"

"Oh, Red got sued by that Earl guy for wrongful termination so he's at the hearing."

"Oh," I nod, not concerned. He'll be fine, and Earl deserved to be fired. A smile plays at my lips. "How come you didn't want to be Jackie's partner?"

He crosses his arms. "You know why. She's an annoying little bitch."

"Or is it something deeper?" I tease. "A conspiracy?" I gasp. "You can't roller skate!"

"No, I just can't dance."

"Liar!" I accuse giddily. "You can dance, because when we went clubbing in Chicago, you danced with me. Remember?"

"No, I don't-"

I wrap my arms around his neck and start a foxtrot, just to annoy him. "There was something in the air that night, the stars were bright-"

He shakes his head with a small smirk on his face, but he goes along with it.

"It isn't that hard. It's just this plus roller skating. I could teach you how to roller skate. Even though I'm pretty shit at it."

"I'll pass," he laughs. Fuck, I love making him laugh.

"Seriously, I could be your coach."

"I wouldn't want to partner up with Jackie, anyway."

I stand on my toes and I'm still four inches shorter than him. "Would you want to partner up with me?"

He hesitates. "Are you drunk?"

"That's not a no!"

I squeak as he easily lifts me up and sets me down on the cot.

He wraps an arm around me and I snuggle into his chest.

"Ana?"

"Mm?" I hum.

"I heard there's this car that runs on water."

"I know, Steven," I giggle. "I heard there's this guy who practically lives here who's an asshole all the time."

He feigns confusion. "So... is that Kelso or Eric or...?"

I close my eyes and laugh quietly, losing myself in the familiar scent of weed, cigarettes, and pine.

A few minutes later, I jolt awake, almost hitting him in the jaw when he calls my name yet again. "Huh? What?"

He smirks down at me. "You're drooling."

"Sorry," I smile sheepishly.

"Don't worry about it. It's kind of cute, anyway."

My breath hitches. It's the little comments like those that make my heart beat faster.

"Whatever," I grumble into his collarbone.

"Listen, if you're tired, you can-"

"No! I'm not tired, you're just cozy," I sigh, lifting my head and literally brushing noses with him. I seriously consider the idiotic idea of kissing him, but we seem to have an unspoken agreement to avoid a situation similar to the one a week ago.

"You're tired," he insists.

I lay down and gently tug on the necklace I gave him to bring him down to my level, guiding his arms so that he's holding me.

"Then let me sleep, dumbass."

"And then she fell asleep and I stroked her hair," Fez says as he finishes explaining his night with Jackie, and how he opted not to kiss her. Strangely, it reminds me of the time I spent with Steven.

"Aww," I coo. "That's so cute."

"You did the right thing, Fez," Hyde nods, "but a word of advice. Next time you tell the story, you nailed her."

I smack him lightly as Kelos stands. "Yeah, well, it's good that you didn't, 'cause scammin' on another guy's woman, that's totally breaking the code."

"Donna told me what you did, you dillhole!" Eric yells as he throws the door open and leaps at his friend.

I don't exactly know what's going on, but as the other two boys join in, I attempt to pull them off.

"Alright, cut it out! I don't want to take care of him again!"

Do I like how I ended this? Not rly but oh well lol.

Was this kinda filler chapter? Yep.

But we got some cute Cyanide (Hyde/Ana) moments, right? Yeah hopefully lol.

As always, feedback, comments, and votes are appreciated!

Love you guys,

Lissy
