Emerson Carter was once in the hit TV show, H2O with her best friends, Claire Holt and Phoebe Tonkin. After the show ended she took a break from acting to focus on her life. That's when there was an audition for The Vampire Diaries and Emerson was quick to jump to the audition, landing the role of Ingrid Mikaelson.
