27 - dirty truths
The two stare at each other before the white-haired male spoke up.
"You're a blessing, you know that. It's never too late to change the road you're on," the male confessed. Y/N continued to look at him, completely confused. "What do you mean? I-Who are you and why am I here?" Y/N asked, looking him dead in the eyes.
"Easy easy now, Y/N, I'm no one you should be concerned about. Think of me as your guardian, I was there that day," the male explained. Y/N's head was filled with thoughts of the fight with Chisaki. The voice that spoke to her flooded her subconscious. Her eyes widened at the realization. This was who was speaking to her.
The red head stepped closer to the male, wanting to feel him. As she reached her hand out to him, she felt his cold skin, causing her to retract her forward hand. After looking to him again, Y/N spoke up, "What do you mean by road I'm on?". Before the male could answer another, he interrupted her. "It is out of your concer, sweetheart," the new male voice answered.
Turning back to look at the new entity, she was met with absolutely nothing. A low, almost growl like chuckle focused itself out the new male's lips. "Y/N, please don't look for me. I'll be with you alway. You could never get rid of me, unlike him. We were made to fulfill the greatest task of the world -" "You have no right to say bullshit to her, stay away from this!" The white-haired male yelled, cutting off the other male.
They began to bicker with each other, causing Y/N's head to spin slightly. Thoughts not of her own brain warped and distorted her conscience. Her brain felt like it had been split open, like when coconuts were cracked to get its water. Y/N could only drop to her knees, squatting as she held her head. "Stop it, stop it. Stop it..." Y/N let out breathy as she felt a presence behind her.
The hand on her shoulder seemed to calm her down instantly. Y/N's shoulders dropped, causing her to let her neck just go, her head falling quick. "Pick your head up, we don't need you down, you'll be the key to the new start" the voice announced, their voice soft of the ear, signaling a female in Y/N's brain. Looking back, a woman smiled and sat next to the red head.
"I understand you feel a lot is going on, but I promise when time comes, you will understand everything. You might be against this, but you can save everyone. Isn't that what you want to do?" The woman said as she looked to Y/N. The first year nodded before taking a deep breath. Before she could say anything else, the woman left, Y/N got up quickly and followed behind her.
The woman only stood beside the white-haired male and smiled. Y/N only looked to the two and then down. "If I can ask... what makes me so special, I thought I was just some kid going to UA?" Y/N questioned as she looked around. "People are born in this world with quirks meant to shape the next generation. You're one-half of the new generations start. You'll make the biggest decision. No matter what, you'll be hurt emotionally, but it will lead to a future in your hands," the male confessed.
"Why me?" Y/N questioned, causing the space to go dead silent. Before she asked again, the make from earlier spoke, "It's better for you to find out on your own." The red head sighed before looking to the two people in front of her. She knew she wouldn't be able to just ignore it. There was a reason for everything that was happening. If she was gonna be the reason she would be herself or not, she had to take the chance.
"Can I ask for your name!" Y/N asked quickly before feeling her eyes fluttering back open. The male and woman just stood there, and the sands and grounds began to be picked off in a wind. Y/N questioned again as she tried bringing herself closer to him. Her body stayed in place as they seemed to move farther. Before she really could comprehend, she woke up, looking around to see how much time passed. It was the 5 match now, and a sense in Y/N's body was going off.
Y/N stood up from all the students and began heading to where both teams were. "Y/N, where are you going?" had left Momo's lips as the girl ran off into Field Gamma. Everyone stared confessed at her brash exist, she was just sound sleeping and now she was bolting into the battlefield. Even the pro heroes standing here could do nothing but watch the girl as she rushed in.
As she bolted down the pathways, she heard a heartbeat before dead silence. Soon, a rippling sound echoed throughout the whole field. Running further in, she noticed tentacles like whips of dark energy whipping through the air. Sensing something still off, she ran closer, making contact with the center.
Deku floated in the air, the tentacles patruding from his forearm and palm. He seemed to struggle as he began falling down, being thrown around like a ragdoll, out of control of the power. Soon, a barrage of them picked down throughout the facility, striking and knocking everyone off their feet.
Deku was soon flung through the sky, causing Y/N to look at him. "Izu!" Y/N yelled, jumping off the ground up to him. Deku, however, only continued to move around, slamming into a wall. Falling down head first, Deku closed his eyes tight. As he fell, he was unaware of Y/N coming to his aid. It was only when he felt soft hands wrap around his waist and push him back up.
As his eye shot wide up, he looked down, Y/N stared up to him, a soft smile gracing her lips. "What's gotting into ya?! You can't stop it, can you?" Y/N asked as Deku nodded, trying his hardest. His eyes watered as he began to panic, not being able to focus on everything at once. "Hold still, let me use scan on you, Izu," Y/N said as she looked at flipped her visor down and looking to Deku.
The scan came up negative before a voice whispered in her ear. "Get away, please. I don't want you hurt," Deku pushed away. Y/N chuckled before bringing him right-side up to face her correctly. "I'm just doing my job as a hero. Something called for me to be here, I'm gonna help regardless," Y/N retorted.
Wrapped around the tentacles, holding Deku close Y/N couldn't help but keep Deku grounded. Looking away, Y/N looked to Shinsou. Thinking quickly on her feet, she yelled out to him. "Shinsou, use your quirk on Izuku. Please!!" she cried out to him. Following her orders, Shinsou spoke to Deku, getting him to finally come to a stand still.
Floating down to the floor, Y/N could only stare into Deku's white eyes. Slapping his cheeks into a cupping position, she stared at him. "Izu, are you good?" Y/N asked nicely before feeling Deku grip on her waist. "Huh Y/N, why are you? Please stay back it's dangerous!" Deku warned before looking around.
"You better thank Shinsou. I don't think I could have stopped that," Y/N laughed before Deku looked into her eyes. "Are you okay, though? You aren't hurt, I didn't hurt you?" Deku questioned as Y/N just smiled. "Stop worrying about me," Y/N said as they landed to the ground where Uraraka met them. Before they could speak, Monoma came between, fighting once more.
Not wanting Y/N in the cross fire, Uraraka ushered Y/N to go hide. Following the order, Y/N left. "Young Y/N,over here," All Might called out, causing Y/N to turn side to side before seeing him. Coming to a tuckaway, she sat between him and Aizawa.
"I'm sorry -" "There's nothing to apologize for. You're safe," All Might cut off. Y/N looked down and nodded, conflicted by her own actions and thoughts. "Don't regret what you did," the white-haired male's voice called out to her. Nodding to herself, she only watched on. Watching on with the teachers till the round ended in Class A's favor.
