"MEL WAKE UP!" Iris urged as
she swung her head into the
red heads room.

The girl let a grumbled groan out before picking herself out the bed. "What?" Y/N questioned, rubbing her eyes from her sleep being disturbed. "Get dressed we're going out, work is finish so we got the week off!" Sooyoung smiled poking her head inside as well.

Y/N nodded soon feeling Lay jump onto her bed, his eyes welcoming her into the new day. Ruffin up his fur she kissed his head, getting up right after to go get ready. Picking something quick out she went to the bathroom, taking a hot shower to fully wake herself up.

After pumping a bit of perfume onto herself she grabbed her sneakers. With sneakers in hand, she left her bedroom, heading to the kitchen for a smoothie. Mei and Chae were already there, pouring 6 cups for the group. While Mei cut apple pieces Chae greeted their leader. "Y/N good morning! -" Chae greeted before closing her mouth.

Y/N stared before giggling; Chae only bowed not realizing why she said it. "It's fine Chae! If you guys aren't calling me Melody then you're calling me Youngmi, Y/N is fine as well. Just don't let any of my classmates hear you say it, they'd kill you," Y/N joked not knowing the class would most likely do it. Chae nodded still processing her mistake.

"I don't know it just sounded so cute coming out of that one boy's mouth in your class. He was cute as well, was he the pro hero's son?" Chae said getting a nod from Y/N. "Todoroki is the number 2-?! I mean number 1 hero's son. I'm not use to the sudden change from All Might's retirement," Y/N apologized for the small mistake. Chae nodded before gawking over the hero's son.

"He's just so cute! Oh, and that one blonde as well," "Didn't he yell at Mel?" Mei questioned. Chae froze as her mates looked at her. "No, I meant the one that sounded dumb, with the black in his hair!" Chae explained causing Y/N to drop her jaw a bit. "Denki?! You think he sounds dumb?" Y/N asked confessed at the description of his voice.

"Well-No I mean...Um SHUT UP!" Chae cursed as she looked away. "He just sounds a bit like Jase to me," Chae explained getting Mei to agree with her. "He seems like a sweetheart but pretty forgetful. Not slow but definitely lives in the moment," Mei added on. Y/N didn't know who to feel bad for Denki or Jase.

"Enough name calling we have a dinner reservation," Iris scolded while picking up an apple and cup. Taking a bite into the apple she looked to the group. "It's the brunch corner store we're stopping back. We don't have much time guys, let's wrap it up," Iris said while slipping on her shoes at the door.

The rest of the girls finished up their drinks and snacked on the apples as they made their way to the van. Making it to the restaurant the girls headed in, happy to have a free day and be able to eat with each other. After the breakfast some of the girls stayed to head to the shopping district. Iris, Sooyoung, and Y/N stayed out wanting to check out a few boutiques and sight see.

While walking around Y/N and Sooyoung stopped in front of the shop, jewelry lined the windows in beautiful colors. "Wanna go check it out?" Sooyoung asked getting a eager nod from Y/N. The duo went in seeing the beautiful handmade pieces, from rings to even bags.

Sooyoung glanced around taking in all the pretty pieces. Y/N on the other hand was dashing around the store like a mad man. Finding the red head in a corner of the store Sooyoung stopped the girl in her tracks. "Hands up what you got there?" Sooyoung asked as Y/N shook her head no. The black haired girl stared, not moving till Y/N showed her what she had.

The girls stood like that for minutes, Y/N gave in though showing the pieces she picked out. A lavender gemstone necklace for Iris, pink bowed earrings for Jieso, yellow stone ring for Mei, and a teal jewelry set for Chaeyeon. The red head looked to Sooyoung. The oldest sighed, "Where's my piece?" looking for a red piece.

Y/N scuffed, "Well if you had let me be I would have let you pick your own as a surprise". Still wanting her senior to be happy, Y/N let Sooyoung pick a red pendant set out. The girls smiled to each other, "Thank you Miiiii!" Sooyoung babied Y/N. Soon making it to the counter the red head paid for the jewelry, receiving everything in velvet pockets. As the receipt was printed Sooyoung looked to Y/N.

"Did you get something?" Sooyoung asked, Y/N shock her head no while heading out. Sooyoung pushed the girl a bit, insisting she'd buy her something. Y/N turned it down, just wanting to appreciate her members. "I've been gone so long. I wanted to do something for you guys!" Y/N confessed as the two met back up with Iris.

The trio soon spent the day on the town. From store to store to food stall to the next, the girls enjoyed their time together. After a few hours the girls decided to head home, needing to unpack from the all the shops they bought from. Maybe they would go back out tomorrow. Before Y/N crashed she posted to her instagram, giving her class a kind of update.

Mei and Y/N spent the next day together taking care of themselves. A complete 180 of the previous plans. The duo just wanted to stay in, actually enjoying the free days they had before promoting. The duo wasn't close either, so this was the perfect time to deepen their bond.

Mei was quiet, only really speaking with Chaeyeon. Y/N wasn't quiet, she was energetic and always ready to do stuff with others. This day however both girls mellowed out. Laying in Y/N's bed the two slept for a bit as a movie played.

They would have slept longer if Lay hadn't jumped on the duo. The two only embraced the new member into the sleep pile, sleeping almost the whole day besides to eat dinner with the group. After dinner the girls went to the bathroom, doing each other's face mask and talking.

"No, the girls have been fine, Nahyun has been working well in the new division," Mei confessed as Y/N let her brush slide across Mei's cheek. "So, what's the company work they do?" "They're composing with a few artists. When they get the chance they post on bubble snippets of their work, they said they get to release everything after the internships are done," Mei smiled.

Y/N stopped putt the brush down, letting Mei's mask dry. "Why didn't you join when they asked you?" Y/N asked surprising Mei. "I would have been out of the company when you came back. I didn't wanna miss seeing you," Mei confessed holding her juniors' hands. Y/N smiled to Mei, tightening her grasp on her hands.

"I always thought you'd be the outlier of the group; you've been so quiet even since our trainee days. Speak more and do more unnie, you're talented enough to get added to the lineup. You're beautiful, your voice us so light and your rapping in amazing. Even if you're not confident in dance, you're better than you think. You're truly amazing Mei!" Y/N confessed. Mei looked to Y/N, how could someone younger than her make her feel so good about herself.

Mei's eyes glossed over, as tears tried their hardest to escape. Y/N wiped them away with her thumb soon hugging Mei. Patting her back she held tightly, "Don't cry unnie it's fine!" Y/N tried to reassure. Mei sniffed, holding back anymore tears. "Let's go do karaoke with the group!" Y/N said hopping Mei would join in on the time. She smiled happy to join her for the night.

Tears were shed on the last day, Y/N was off once again. Before the girls departed again Y/N smiled to the girls. "I have something for each of you!" Y/N cheered as she pulled the boxes from the shopping trip. Each one was wrapped in a ribbon of each girls' representative color.

On the count of 3 each girl opened their boxes. "I got Iris a necklace because the one she had from before joining the company broke not too long ago. Jieso said she wanted to wear earrings more, so I picked a pair out. Mei doesn't wear much jewelry so I thought a ring would be cute. Sooyoung picked her own stuff out, and Chae has been talking about owning a full set forever," Y/N let out in one breath.

Catching her breath, she looked to the group. Everyone looked down at their gift, surprised Y/N was getting them stuff when all she had to do was be there for them. Having her there was a bigger gift then the actual gifts she got them.

The girls placed their stuff down, soon bear hugging their leader. The group stayed like that for a while as cameras flashed around them in the airport. "Promise you'll be safe in Japan, hero work is serious," Jieso asked. Y/N nodded to her, promising she'd be strong.

Chae held tightly onto Y/N, not wanting her to leave again. It wasn't fair, why was she forced to deal with her favorite person to talk with leave her for months on end. "I don't want you to leave, please stay," Chae begged as the rest of the group watched. Mei tried to get the girl off but to no avail.

As Chae gripped onto Y/N's shirt the girl's eyes watered. It was the same feeling again, like Eri was pleading for her to not leave. Y/N's grip on Chae tightened as her heart ached at leaving someone else again. "I promise I'll always be here; I love you Chaeyeon don't forget, okay?" You promised as Chae nodded slowly.

Soon letting go Y/N looked to her group one last time. The red head was soon ushered upon the airplane as it was departing in a few minutes. Before they could stay and watch the plan leave the girls were brought back to their van and escorting back to their dorms.

As I found myself walking back into the dorms. I tried my hardest to silently come in to surprise the class but Lay barked. "Hey, was that a dog?" Denki asked as the people in the kitchen began moving closer to the front. I stood there with Lay in my hand, he barked again upon Todoroki's arrival.

"Hehe hey guys," I greeted as Lay jumped out my arms and to Todoroki's feet. He looked up to Todoroki as he looked down to him. Soon squatting down, he picked the dog up, Lay licked at Todoroki's face as his tail wagged. "Don't think you're special if he comes to you, he likes everyone he meets. Maybe not Bakugo when he sees him..." I said while wheeling in my suitcase.

Mina bounced over to Lay almost instantly. "Aww he is adorable! What's his name?" Mina cooed as he rubbed his belly in Todoroki's arms. "His name is Lay. My group named him from a play on my stage name. A lay is a series of rhythmic music tones, it's a synonym of Melody aka my stagename," I explained.

"Well, he's a cutie!" Uraraka praised as Lay was showered in affection by the girls. "Y/N, are you doing well?" Kirishima asked me, I smiled to him. Nodding I spoke, "Yeah I felt a bit burnt out before but I'm 100% good!". He nodded happy to hear I was fine, he hugged me before helping me bring my stuff to my room.

After unpacking I spent the rest of the day with the class. Everyone kept Lay for a while besides Bakugo, Lay wasn't a fan of him but loved Shoji falling asleep in his arms later that night. I smiled to myself feeling a lot better and ready for the upcoming school days.
