I headed towards my seat in the back of the class and sat next to Jae who had her head down on her desk.
"Hey Dylan." I greeted the boy who was awake.
"Hey Kali."
"Looks like she was up all night."
"We was robbing a store last night and chilling with friends." He chuckled.
what the hell.
"Oh."
"We was going to text you but Jae didn't think you would've of agree."
"No I would've of." I lied.
"Quiet down class." Mr Anderson said walking in with a file of papers in his veiny hands.
Dylan stood up straight, facing the board and I did as well.
"Torres wake her up." Mr Anderson said without staring.
Of course..
I pushed Jae's arm softly trying to wake her up the friendliest way as possible. "Get the fuck off." She groaned
"Jae please do not talk to Ms. Torres that way, I told her to wake you up." His voice harsh.
Jae sat up in her seat staring at me, "Sorry i was still asleep." She touched my arm comfortably.
I nodded my head giving her reassurance that it was okay.
"Eyes over here." Mr Anderson said with his back facing us as he wrote on the chalkboard.
As Mr Anderson was explaining what we was doing today to the class, I couldn't help but to raise my hand.
"Hm?" He turned around staring at me with his head slightly tilted.
"Can I use the bathroom sir?"
"I don't know, can you?" he focuses on me.
Ugh he's so fine.
"Please?"
He sighed before continuing, "Go, be fast."
I got up from my seat taking my book bag with me, "Ms. Torres." He said before I could even leave.
I turned around slowly, "Yes..?"
"Don't take long." He glares
Yes sir.
I nodded my head before I walked off. I went to the bathroom that was down the hall. I opened the door seeing a group of girls in the bathroom.
There go my anxiety.
I walked in one of the stalls and placed tissue all around the toilet so I could sit down and pee.
Giggling and laughing flooded the room from outside the stall, I wonder what was so funny.
I flushed the toilet and washed my hands, the group of girls were on their phones laughing at each other. "Ugh he so fine." One of them said
"Who?" The other girl asked
"Mr. Anderson."
Back off hoe.
"Ew isn't he like twenty nine?" The other one said.
"It's just a number and besides, I'm eighteen." The girl replied
"I think Dylan is fine." The nerdy one said
"He's alright.."
"Excuse me, I need some paper towels." I said nicely
"You're excused." The girl said
I paused in my tracks glaring at her. "Yes?.. do you need something." She asked
"Shut the fuck up bitch." I glared
She scrunched her face up as I walked past and headed out the door.
Anyways.
I walked back inside the class, Jae eyes were on me. "What are we doing now?" I asked
"He's making us write a paragraph about the civil right movement."
"I did this in 5th grade."
"Problem Ms. Torres?" His voice deep.
I turned around seeing his broad nice figure body standing and hovering over me. Jae crouched down in her seat like she was scared.
"Took you long enough."
I rolled my eyes headed to his desk, he followed behind me. "I need to ask you something Mr. Anderson."
My eyes goggles towards Jae and Dylan watching us, they peek their head downs once I turn my gaze at them.
"hm?" he hummed sitting down at his seat tapping his fingers on the desk.
I looked around noticing everyone doing their work. "you know what, I'll just tell you after class."
"Kali." He said
I turned to look back at him in his eyes. "What do you want?" he give me a stern look.
"I said I'll tell you after."

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆. "Hey, you coming with me and Dylan to smoke?" Jae swings her bookbag over her shoulders.
"I can't right now."
"It's always can't." She glared
"I'm sorry, what about tomorrow?"
"You better fucking be there, catch you later." She waves.
"Bye Kali." Dylan waved as well.
"Bye."
I turned my gaze at Mr. Anderson who had his hand touching his chin. He was obviously confused of what I wanted to ask him.
He looked so sexy as his attention focuses on me.
but I also had to respect his boundaries.
"Speak Kali." He said with his head slightly tilted.
I hesitated before speaking, slightly scared of what he was going to think.
"I need somewhere to stay." I finally let out.
...
he took a minute to respond, he just stared in his seat rubbing his chin pondering.
"Kali." He said
"No, you listen to me."
"This has nothing to do with my feelings towards you if that's what you're wondering! I just trust you sir."
"Kali." He sighs
"What!?"
"Lower your tone when you're speaking to me." He stood up walking closer to me.
I gulped nervously as he was getting closer, "Is someone hurting you?" his voice calm, slightly worried.
I shook my head as I stared.
"Speak Torres." His voice demanding.
"My adoptive mother is a alcoholic, I don't feel safe around her."
His eyes look slightly worried as he examines my stance.
"She doesn't act like a mother, it's like I don't even know her. Ever since my adoptive father left she changed." My eyes slightly teary.
He came closer wiping my tears with his fingers. "Shhh." He whispers.
"I'm sorry, this is embarrassing." I wiped my own tears backing away from his presence knowing that he was making me nervous.
He sighs as he walks back to his desk, "me out of all people Torres? to bring you in...into my home?" He clicks his pen continuously.
"I know it's a lot-
"I'll check in with my wife." He interrupts
Fuck your wife.
"You can take a seat and wait." he eyes me confusingly as I sat down next to him.
"I mean't the seats over there Kali." He stares.
"This one is closer." I shrugged my shoulders innocently.
He sighs as he dialed a number in his phone.
Thank you sir.
