Chp 38 :A Serene Morning Shattered: Encounter with the Goons
After a blissful few weeks together, the harsh reality of school life had settled back in for us .I awoke to a day full of optimism and joy. My mind felt clear and liberated, and my face was aglow with a sense of euphoria. I felt a deep sense of inner peace as I began my morning prayer. After a brief window of time, I headed out for a refreshing jog towards the school. The morning air was crisp and clean, invigorating my senses. I soaked up the warmth of the sun as I ran, grateful for this opportunity to begin the day on such a positive note.
As I ran down the street, a thought crossed my mind: "Maybe I should stop by a local cafe for a treat."
The idea of treating myself with a warm cup of coffee, or a freshly baked pastry, filled me with a sense of gratitude and pleasure. I could almost taste the sweet, buttery goodness of a fresh croissant, and feel the warmth of the steamy beverage.
I turned the corner, and spotted the perfect cafe for a treat. I made my way towards it, feeling my spirits lift and my heart fill with joy.
I enter the cozy cafe, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and flaky pastries filling my nose and my stomach with hunger. As I approach the counter, I can't help but smile as I gaze at the selection of sweet treats. I'm torn between a piping hot croissant and a steaming hot cup of cappuccino.
After a moment of hesitation, I decide to go for the croissant first. I order a warm, buttery croissant and wait eagerly for my order. As I wait, I take in my surroundings and feel my soul soothe with the peace and serenity of the cafe.
As I sip on my steaming hot cappuccino, I gaze out of the window and savor the feeling of warmth and comfort. The sun is shining through the leaves, and I can feel its rays on my face, filling me with a sense of bliss and contentment.
After finishing my croissant, I enjoy a few more sips of my cappuccino, relishing the sweetness and creaminess of the coffee. I slowly relax into my seat and take in the view outside, enjoying the sound of the birds and the murmur of people walking by. It feels like the perfect start to a beautiful day.
After finishing my treat, I set out on the route to my school, walking with earphones hanging from my neck and music playing in my ears. The sun was shining, and even the busy streets of the city felt lively and vibrant. I felt at ease as I walked, my stride steady and my thoughts peaceful.
As I walked, I began to feel a sense of anticipation, knowing that I was about to spend the day in the company of my friends and classmates. The music was in tune with my heart, and I could feel myself smiling as I made my way to school.
I was walking in my usual route, enjoying the peace and calm of the morning, when suddenly I see a car ahead of me. As I get closer, I realize it's Jake driving, and Jake himself steps out of the car.
"What are you doing, why not in car walking your way to school?" Jake asks, with a twinkle in his eye.
"Hello to you too," I reply, smiling widely and feeling my heart leap with joy at his surprise appearance.
I smile at Jake, and he smiles back, as he walks up to me.
"C'mon, get in," he says, gesturing towards the car.
I eagerly agree and get in, my heart pounding in my chest with excitement. As I settle into the passenger seat, Jake gets behind the wheel and takes off. We are soon making our way to the school, the sun shining brightly on our faces.I look over at Jake, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for this unexpected treat.

Jake and Sarah were travelling to school suddenly the car stopped. Jake went out to see what caused the turbulence.
James wants her," the goon says, pointing his gun at Sarah. "Hand her over or else we'll shoot the engine."
Jake turns off the engine and tells Sarah to get down.
Sara's reaction was unpredictable. She was in no shape to argue or resist, so she does as she's told. Suddenly, Jake throws a stone and hits one of the goons in the eye, causing him to collapse to the ground.
The scene became chaotic as the goons tried to attack Jake and get hold of Sarah. It looked like something out of a movie. Jake did his best to protect Sarah and defend against the armed goons. It was a close battle and things could've easily escalated.
Jake grabs Sarah and sprints away as the other goon opens fire, hitting Sarah in the leg. He carries Sarah away, dodging the bullets and finding a place to hide.
He carries Sarah to a safe place, where he tends to her injured leg as best as he can. He consoles her and tries to keep her calm, but the pain and shock are too much to bear.
Suddenly they see a car coming from the opposite side of the road. The man who got out of the car was tall and good-looking, with an impressive build. After seeing Jake holding Sarah, he approached them
"Heyy mate what happened " he say's coming out while rushing towards us "one sec sarah?, who are you.. what is she doing in your arms"
Jake responded, "Two thugs with a gun tried to take Sarah. We ran, but she got shot."
"We gotta inform Ibrahim, first" the guy says with an irritated look on his face.
"How he knew sarah and Ibrahim" a thought escaped but i tried to focus on Sarah.
"bro this is not the time for making calls, We need to get her to the hospital," Jake added, sounding anxious.
As the guy drove, Jake sat in the backseat with Sarah, her head on his laps and she was a bit unconscious and tending to her injured leg.
He kept stroking her forehead and tucking a hair strand under her hijab, trying to comfort her and ease her pain. When they finally arrived at the hospital, Jake and the guy carried her inside.
Sarah was quickly taken inside for treatment, and Jake stayed by her side to make sure she was okay.
As the adrenaline faded,he felt his heart pounding in his chest. He was relieved and grateful that Sarah was safe and that the ordeal was over.
As the minutes ticked by, Ibrahim ran in, asking, "Where is Sarah?" The guy responded, "She's been taken care of."
"Ibrabim exclaims, Aariz where did you find them", oh so his name is Aariz."
"I was passing by and saw them," he explains. "I never knew until I got out of the car."
As Sarah is taken in for treatment, Jake and Aariz chat about what happened. He tells Ibrahim that he was passing by when he saw Jake holding Sarah in his arms but jake as fast enough to confront himself "the goons tried to take Sarah, I immediately had to run lifting her up" Ibrahim looked a little furious to hear that Jake had to held her.
Jake is grateful for Aariz timely intervention and thanks him for his help. Aariz simply shrugs and says it was the least he could do.
Jakes pov
I stays by her side until she's well enough to go home, and makes sure she gets there safely.
Aariz suddenly offers for me to go home, since her family members have arrived to take care of her.
Aariz's sudden suggestion that I should leave surprised me, and I immediately rejected the idea with a firm tone. I responded to Aariz, my tone stern and resolute. "No, I'll be here until she is home."
I wouldn't let anything happen to Sarah, not while he was there by her side. I would wait for as long as it took until she was well enough to go home. It didn't matter how long or how hard the wait was, I intended to stay with her throughout her recovery.
Aariz's expression changes as he looks at me, his tone becoming a bit more stern. "Why do you care so much?" he asks, his eyes fixed on me as if expecting an answer.
I took a deep breath and responded truthfully, "I don't know. I just don't want to leave her like this and go ."
He stays silent for a moment, his expression thoughtful as he looks at me. Then, he gives a small nod and says, "Okay, stay then, suits you"
The tension in the air suddenly lifts, and I let out a small sigh in relief.
He understanding my firm response, nodded and turned to speak with Ibrahim.
I went inside and took a seat next to Sarah's hospital bed. Even though her eyes were closed and her face looked pale, I could tell that she was slowly recovering.
She had just gone through a surgery, to take out the bullet and so I knew it would take time before Sarah recovered fully from the procedure.
I took her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, hoping to offer as much support as I could during her recovery.
Sarah's eyes flickered open, and she looked at me with surprise. "W-what are you doing here?" she asked in a timid voice.
I smiled at her and reassured her, saying, "I'm not leaving your side until you recover."
She looked at me, her eyes filled with gratitude and appreciation as she realized I was there for her. She reached her free hand and took mine, squeezing it slightly.
"Thank you" she says, her voice barely a whisper.
I smiled at her and continued to hold her hand, feeling pleased that I had been able to provide her with some comfort and support during her difficult times.
Her eyes slowly drifted shut again, and she started to relax. I let her rest, knowing it was important for her recovery
Letting Sarah rest was crucial for her recovery. As I rose from my seat, I couldn't resist giving her forehead a tender kiss one last time. Just as I was about to leave her room, Ibrahim approached me with a comforting hand on my shoulder. "You should head home, buddy," he advised.
"I can wait a little longer," I replied, my determination unwavering. But Ibrahim insisted, reminding me of all I had already done.
Just then, Aariz appeared from behind, adding, "We're here now, and she's in good hands. You don't have to worry." There was something intriguing about Aariz that captivated me, but I couldn't let anyone suspect the true nature of our relationship. Reluctantly, I agreed to go home, knowing it was for Sarah's sake. I didn't want to leave her side, but it was necessary to protect her and keep suspicions at bay.
Well, after I left Sarah's room, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. A Part of me was relieved knowing she was in good hands, but another part of me longed to stay by her side. As I made my way home, my mind was consumed with thoughts of Sarah and our complicated relationship. I couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more to Aariz than met the eye.
