Chp 25 No escape
The day passed by slowly, each minute feeling like an eternity. I missed Uzma terribly, and I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over me like a dark cloud. I paced the corridors, searching for any sign of her, but she seemed to have disappeared without a trace. I asked around, but no one had seen her since the morning. I wondered if she was sick or if something had happened to her.
As I wandered through the halls, I found myself drawn to the cafeteria. Maybe Uzma was there, getting a snack or something. But when I walked in, I was met with a sight that made my blood boil. There was Isabella, sitting beside Jake, laughing and flirting with him as if I didn't even exist. I could feel the jealousy and anger rising up within me, a fierce fire that threatened to consume me.
I watched as Isabella stood up and sat down in Jake's lap, his friends cheering them on like it was some kind of game. I felt sick to my stomach, wondering how Jake could be so blind to what was happening. I had known him since months now and he had never acted like this before. But ever since Isabella had arrived, he seemed to have forgotten all about me.
I wanted to scream, to lash out at Isabella and make her see what she was doing to me. I wanted to splash water on her face, to wake her up from whatever fantasy she was living in. But I knew that I couldn't, that I had to keep my cool and find Uzma before it was too late.
I left the cafeteria, feeling more alone and frustrated than ever. I wondered if Uzma was feeling the same way, if she was lost and scared somewhere in the school. I couldn't shake the feeling of dread that had settled over me, like something terrible was about to happen. I had to find her, no matter what.
As I walked out of the cafeteria, my heart still racing with anger and frustration, I saw Neil approaching me. He looked concerned, as if he could sense that something was wrong.
"Hey, what's going on?" he asked, his voice low and gentle.
I hesitated for a moment, unsure if I wanted to talk about what had just happened. But something about Neil's expression made me feel like I could trust him.
"It's Jake and Isabella," I said, my voice trembling with emotion. "They're... I don't know, it's like they're trying to make me jealous or something. It's driving me crazy."
Neil nodded sympathetically, his eyes scanning the cafeteria. "Yeah, I've noticed that too. But I don't think they're doing it on purpose. Maybe they just don't realize how it's affecting you."
I shook my head, feeling a surge of anger rising up within me. "How could they not know? It's so obvious. I feel like I'm going crazy."
Neil put a hand on my shoulder, his touch warm and reassuring. "Hey, it's going to be okay. We'll figure this out together. Maybe you should talk to Jake and Isabella and let them know how you're feeling."
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. Maybe Neil was right. Maybe I just needed to communicate my feelings and find a way to work things out. I took a deep breath and headed back into the cafeteria, ready to face Jake and Isabella head-on.

As I walked through the crowded hallway, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. I turned around, scanning the faces in the crowd, but saw no one who looked suspicious. Still, the feeling persisted, making her feel uneasy.
I saw one of my classmates walking towards me , his face a mask of concern. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, his voice soft and reassuring.
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over myself.
"I'm fine," I said, forcing a smile. "Just trying to find Uzma. Have you seen her?"
He shook his head, his eyes scanning the hallway. "No, sorry. But I can help you look if you want."
I felt a surge of gratitude towards him Even though we weren't close friends.
As we walked through the hallway, I noticed a group of people taking pictures from afar. I couldn't see who they were, but the sight made me feel uneasy.
"Who are they?" I asked, pointing to the group.
He shrugged, his expression turning serious. "I don't know. But I don't like the look of it. Let's get out of here."
As we turned to leave, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. Even though I didn't know who the people were, I trusted his instincts. suddenly felt safe with him, like he was someone I could count on.

He led her to an empty classroom, which was devoid of any students. The silent corridor outside the classroom added to Sarah's unease, and she felt a little insecure.
She felt a little uneasy, but she didn't say anything. She knew she could trust him, but the emptiness of the corridor made her feel uneasy.
As he left the room, Sarah couldn't help but wonder what was going on. Her mind was racing with all sorts of possibilities. What if something had happened to Uzma? What if she was in danger?
Sarah tried to push these thoughts out of her head and focus on something else. She looked around the empty classroom, taking in the old desks and chairs, the faded chalkboard, and the peeling paint on the walls. It was clear that this room hadn't been used in a while.
As she waited, Sarah's mind kept wandering back to Uzma. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. She wondered if she should call her or try to find her herself. But then again, she didn't want to make things worse.
Just then, he walked back into the room, a look of relief on his face. "I found her," he said, his voice shaking a little. "She's okay."
Sarah felt a wave of relief wash over her. She couldn't believe how worried she had been. She thanked him for his help and was about rushed out of the classroom to see Uzma so he stopes her and says.
"She'll be here any minute you don't have to go"
"Oh okay"
"Ok so I may go I have a class to attend" he say's going out leaving me alone
As I waited in the empty classroom, I couldn't help but feel impatient. I checked my phone for the time, but the clock seemed to be ticking by at a snail's pace. I was about to leave the classroom when I saw a figure in the distance running towards me. The figure had his face covered with a handkerchief, which made my heart race.
As the figure got closer, I could see that it was James,
"what is he doing here he had been suspended from school"
I felt shivers running down my spine as I tried to process what was happening. My hands started to shake, and I couldn't think straight. I wondered what James was doing here, and why he was running towards me.
I was frozen in place, unable to move or speak. My mind was racing with all sorts of possibilities. What if James was here to hurt me? What if he was angry about being suspended? I was terrified, and I couldn't think of anything else but to run.
Just then, James took off his handkerchief, revealing his face.
