"Are you nervous?" Haru glanced at you, his expression of concern more than evident on his face. Suna had agreed to talk with you at his place. You were surprised that he even texted you back. All you can remember is the look on his face when you broke his heart, but it had to be done for him to understand that you couldn't keep letting him do this to you. He broke yours first. "Not really. Just thinking about what I should say." You shrugged, staring down at his text.

Haru stared at the road ahead of him, about forming in his stomach as he turned onto Suna's street. If you weren't nervous, he sure was nervous for you. This will either end up somewhat good, neutral, or you running out of the house with tears streaming down your face. Haru hated seeing you so down and out, which is why he felt this way. "Like I said earlier, say what's on your mind. Don't hold anything back." Haru took in a deep breath as he slowed down the car, pulling in front of Suna's house.

Turning your head to look out the window, you noticed the kitchen light was on. You thickly swallowed, hesitant to step out the car. "It'll be okay." Haru assured, rubbing your shoulder before you opened the car door. "I'll be back." You smiled at him, closing the car door as you slowly walked up the steps to his house.

You haven't been here in weeks. It felt weird knocking instead of using the old spare key he had given you. Just goes to show that things have really changed between you two. Exhaling, you knocked on his door three times and stepped back a few. You weren't prepared to see him at all, but you were pushing yourself to do this. Why? Because it was for better or for worse. As you stood out in the cold, the locked were being undone on the other side of the door.

It slowly opened, Suna appearing in front of you for what seemed like the first time in forever. You blinked, stuck in place as he stared at you. Speak. Why couldn't you speak? "Come in." He cleared his throat, opening the door wider for you. There was an awkward tension in the air as stepped inside the warm house, mumbling a small 'thank you' to him as you took off your shoes at the front door. Suna shut the door behind you, making his way to the kitchen.

He'd be lying if he said his heart wasn't beating at a million miles per hour right now. It took every ounce of courage he had to just look at you a few seconds ago. "Um," you followed him to the kitchen, "how've you been?" You asked, picking at your nails while you avoided all eye contact with him. "Is that a rhetorical question?" He shot you a look, leaning on the counter as you sat down in the seat. "I'm sorry, I just...I don't know where to begin."

"Maybe the fact that I'm a complete asshole who's still in love with you." Suna said plainly. Say everything on your mind. Get it off your chest. Looking up at Suna, you finally spoke, "I hate you," You clenched your jaw, breathing deeply. "I really fucking hate you." You repeated. Suna bit down on his bottom lip, nodding at you words as he stood up straight. "Expected."

"How could you do that to me, Suna? How could you go and get her pregnant?!" Quickly standing from your seat, you made your way around the counter before standing face to face with him. He ran a hand down his face, avoiding looking at you, scared to see hatred in your eyes. Those beautiful eyes of yours. "Look at me." You demanded. No response. A wave of rage came over you as you landed a sharp smack against his cheek causing his head to turn to the side.

You gasped at your own actions, "I'm so sorry. I...I didn't mean to do that." Your eyes softened as he rubbed his cheek with the palm of his hand. "What if...what if it's not my baby?" Suna mumbled loud enough for you to hear, his low hazel eyes finally meeting yours. With brows knitted together, you became confused by his question, "what?" You asked. "It could be mine, but I wasn't the only one Faye was having sex with." Suna admitted. Words couldn't form, lost as to what to say.

You back away from him, casting your eyes to the ground. "I'm still in love with you, y/n. I think about you all the time. I don't want Faye. I don't want anyone else. I already told her that. I just want you." Suna stepped closer to you, taking you in his arms. "You fucked up, Suna. And what if it is your baby, huh? Are you going to be there for it? What's going to happen?" You asked, staring at him with glossy eyes. "Of course I am, that's my kid. But that doesn't mean anything about me and Faye. Nothing."

Tears welled up in your eyes, pulling away from his grasp. You were too embarrassed to cry in front of him, he didn't deserve your tears. Yet, hear they were. "I hate when you do this. I hate when you make me feel like this?" You mumbled through your tears, wiping them as quickly as they came. "Like what?" Suna stepped towards you, an attempt to try and comfort you. "Like everything is going to be okay!" You yelled. "I look at you and I see the boy I fell in love with, I see all the good things in you and it's so fucking hard to let you go! I hate you but I love you..." You sniffled, frame slouched over as you stood in the middle of the kitchen.

"I know I hurt you, y/n. And I am so sorry for how I made you feel. I know you hate me. Hate me all you want. I don't give a fuck. But I will never stop loving you no matter what. I'm in love with everything about you." Suna admitted, confessing his love for you for which felt like the one hundredth time. "Stop saying you love me, Suna." You screwed your eyes shut, shaking your head at him. He sighed in defeat. "What do you want me to say? Do you want to me to stand here while you cry because of me? I'm not doing that shit!"

Silence filled the kitchen as you both stood there. What more was there to say? Suna just stared at you with sad eyes as he watched you wipe your own tears. "I'm sorry, baby." The pet name made you cringe, thinking of old times-the good times you two had. "Don't." You held your hand up in front of him, avoiding his gaze. "I miss you." Suna kept speaking, disobeying your feeble attempt at making him shut up. "Suna."

Without warning, Suna wrapped his arms around you, holding you close to his chest. "I love you." He whispered into your ear as sobbed, not even attempting to fight him back. Everything hit you all at once. His smell, his touch, his voice, his warmth-everything about him. You couldn't control the tears anymore. Suna held you, rubbing your back as you let everything out. He knows this won't fix anything. But he won't let you sit here and cry like this. "I really fucking hate you." You mumbled into his skin, sniffling.

"I know." Suna responded, ignoring that funny feeling in his chest. His feelings were hurt. But you were his priority right now. You were hurt more. You were going through more. "Why do you do this to me, Rin?" You sniffled. Suna eyes widened the smallest bit at the sound of his nickname, how smooth and angelic it sounded coming from you. "Because I manage to find a way to fuck up things when I have something good," his large hand continued to rub your back. "But when it comes to you, I always want to fix it. Always."

Leaning into his touch more, you shut your eyes, "are we good for each other, Rin?" You genuinely asked, wanting to hear what his thoughts were. Suna stayed shut for a few seconds before opening his mouth, "I don't know, baby." He sighed, hugging you tighter than he already was. "You lie to me. You hurt me and I hurt you back, doing stupid shit. But I love you. I cry over you. I get jealous over you," you opened your eyes again, staring off into space. "I guess I don't know either." You found yourself wrapping your arms around Suna's waist, hugging him back.

"Maybe...we can figure it out together." Suna looked at you even if your eyes weren't on his. "I'm scared." You admitted, your gazes finally meeting. Suna clenched his jaw, bringing his hand up to your face to wipe away that one stray tear on your cheek. "I'm scared too." He spoke. "Of?" You asked, brows furrowing slightly. "Losing you." He simply answered without hesitation. "Promise?"

Suna grabbed your hand in his, bringing it up to his lips before placing a kiss on your knuckles. "I promise." He said in a whisper. "I really hate it when we fight." You frowned, resting your head back on his chest. Suna was fully responsible for everything. He takes the blame. "I'm sorry," All Suna could do was apologize to you. "I love you." He kissed the top of your head, your hand still in his-fingers intertwined.

Both of you basked in the silence, standing in the middle of the kitchen. Suna was still filled with regret. He knows you don't fully forgive him. Who would? Slowly, you looked back up at him, "I love you too." A small and soft smile formed on the corner of your lips. Suna couldn't help but chuckle, his own smile showing. "I'm sorry for making you cry. Now your eyes are all puffy," Suna frowned. "Can you close them for me?"

"Why?" You asked. "Just do it." He squeezed you. Rolling your eyes, you closed them. Suna leaned in, placing kisses on both of your eyelids before his lips reached yours. Your eyes shot open at the unexpected kiss, but it didn't even take a second before you were kissing him back, your lips moving in sync with his. The kiss wasn't feverish, but rather slow and passionate-an ideal 'I've missed you kiss'.

Suna's hands traveled to your waist and then to your lower back, pushing you closer against him. Instinctively, your arms wrapped around his neck, deepening the kiss in the process. Suna's knows he's been the hardest to love. The problems aside, he doesn't regret meeting you. He doesn't regret the time you two have spent with each other.

Suna gently pushed you against the counter without breaking the kiss. "Rin...I...Haru's waiting for me outside." You pulled away from him, breathless. You lips were wet and swollen from the heated moment shared together. "He can wait a little longer. Please." Suna muttered, slightly bending to to hook his arms under your thighs, helping lift you onto the counter. "Rin..."

"Stay." Suna begged rather than demanded, pecking your lips while his hands cupped your face. "Not tonight." You placed your hand on his chest. He stared at you with the biggest puppy dog eyes. "Why not?" He asked, the pads of his thumb rubbing your cheeks. "Just not tonight, kay?" Your hand ran from his chest down to his lower stomach, fiddling with the drawstring of his sweats. "When can I see you again? Be with you?" He was standing in between your legs, eyes boring into yours with every passing moment.

Biting on your bottom lip, you shrugged, "I don't know." You mumbled. "Tomorrow?" Suna asked, desperate. There was silence on your end. "Girl, answer me," Suna chuckled. "You're driving me fucking crazy." He squeezed your cheeks. A small laugh erupted from your chest as you looked away from him. "Fine. Tomorrow." You answered. As you hopped off of the counter, Suna's hands dropped from your face.

He followed your figure as you walked to the door and slipped your shoes on. "See you tomorrow." You waved bye at him with that pretty smile of yours. "Hold up." Suna pulled you back by your wrist, a small smirk on his face. "What?" You playfully rolled your eyes at him, failing to hide your smile. "Gimme a kiss."

"Bye, I gave you enough in the kitchen." You pulled your arm back. "Come on, just a peck," Suna frowned. "Right here." He tapped his cheek. "Bye, Rin!" You said with raised brows, opening the front door and walking out. Suna chuckled as he watched you walk down the steps and towards Haru's car, taking in every detail of you. God, you looked so good. "Bye, y/n!" Suna shouted in a sing-song voice, playfully teasing you before he shut the door.
