"Thank you to all of our hardworking students, to all of our professors and to the families as well!" There was a sense of relief, a weight lifting off of your shoulders as you sat there in your cap and gown. It was a surreal moment. Of course it would happen sooner or later, but to finally have all your hard work pay off was one of the best feelings one could describe.
You just graduated university, a big goal in many people's lives. The hardships and stress that came with it were worth it all, just so you could sit here and finally take everything in. "Congratulations to all of you!" The crowd of students cheered and so did the families watching from the stands. You smiled, clapping your hands as you stood up from your seat. Others were throwing their caps high up into the air as a gesture of celebration. It was a bittersweet moment.
"Y/n!" You heard your name being shouted from the crowd. Turning to look, you saw Haru running up to you, arms spread wide before he embraced you. He squeezed you tightly in his arms, a small giggle coming from him as you hugged him back. "We fucking graduated!" He shouted.
"I know! I can't believe we actually did it," you laughed.
Just seconds after finishing your sentence, a pair of arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you into a hug. "Rin!" You exclaimed, turning around to hug him back, a wide smile adorning your face.
"I can't believe I actually graduated," he chuckled, mostly because he was in disbelief. Four years ago, he would've thought this was a joke. He never saw himself completing college or even graduating but here he was was, with you, doing it all.
"We need to find Zee and celebrate because we all deserve it. This school put way too much stress on me to not have a few drinks," Haru rolled his eyes, looking around on the field for his boyfriend. The sun was shining bright on your face the heat beating down on you. It didn't help that the cap and gown were making you even more hot, only adding to the heat.
"I could use a shower first before celebrating," you wiped a small bead of sweat from your forehead. "What should we do to celebrate?" You asked.
"This girl I know said she was throwing a grad party at her house, but I don't know if I want to be surrounded by a whole bunch of drunk people," Haru sucked his teeth.
"We could always just chill at mine? Order pizza, watch a movie, and play some games?" Suna offered, his hand hooked around your waist as he held you close to him.
"I like the sound of that," Zee came up from behind you and Suna and walked straight up to Haru, planting a kiss on his lips. "Your face is all red," he chuckled.
"Shut up, it's hot out here," Haru rolled his eyes with a small smile on his face as he interlocked his fingers with Zee's.
"I think that's a good idea. Come by at like six? It'll all give us time to get ready and wind down," you nodded.
"Sounds like a plan."

Suna ruffled his hair with the towel, walking out of the bedroom in his sweats and a baggy shirt. You were already in the living room, setting up the movie night while waiting for the pizza to arrive. "What movie did you pick?" Suna asked.
Flattening out the fuzzy blanket on the couch, you turn to look at him, "I haven't decided yet, but I was thinking something scary."
Suna walked up behind you, grabbing the pillow from the couch and began fluffing it, his best attempt at trying to help you. Though, one thought kept crossing his mind. "Hey, have you told Haru about us moving yet?" There a slight hit of concern in his voice.
"No, why?" You stand up straight to look at Suna with furrowed brows. You placed your hand on your hips, inspecting your boyfriends expressions before he threw the pillow down on the couch and faced you.
With a shrug of his shoulders Suna spoke, "do you think you should tell him? Maybe like...tonight? We'll be looking at houses soon and I know you two are very close. I just don't want you two drifting apart, that's all."
A small frown formed on your lips as you took two steps closer to Suna. Wrapping your arms around his waist, you lay your head on him, taking in his warmth. "I'm sure Haru will be fine and understanding. Knowing him, he'll probably move to the same town or city we move to," you let out a small laugh and so did Suna because you both knew there was some truth behind what you said.
"You're right," Suna nodded his head before he placed a kiss on your cheek. The doorbell rang suddenly, breaking the silence in the house. "Must be them," Suna walked through the living room and to the front door, unlocking it.
"Move, Suna, I'm here for my best friend," Haru playfully pushed Suna out of the way, running through the living as soon his eyes landed on you. "Y/n!" He screeched in excitement.
You couldn't help but notice he had a ginormous bottle of wine in his right hand, typical of Haru. "Hi!" You smiled.
"Sup, Suna," Zee shook hands with him.
"Hey, man," Suna greeted back before shutting the door behind him.
"Pizza should be here any minute now! Also, I was thinking we watch a horror movie tonight, what do y'all say?" You shared looks between everyone else in the room.
"I'm down," Zee shrugged, plopping down on the couch with a sigh. Haru hummed in agreement, placing the wine bottle on the coffee table as he sat in his boyfriends lap.
You smiled, "Rin, baby, can you look for a movie, please? I need to talk to Haru for a quick second," you turned to look at Zee. "Do you mind if I borrow your boyfriend for a quick second?" You flash a glance at Haru who immediately rolled his eyes.
"Take him, he's been clinging to me all day," Zee scoffed, pinching Haru's arm.
"I have not! If anything it's been the opposite, liar!" Haru had an offended tone, quickly getting off his boyfriends lap and grabbing your hand where he dragged you out of the living room. "Now that we're away from them, what is it?" Haru whispered.
"So," you started off, "me and Suna plan on moving soon, moving into a house, in a small little town," you took a deep breath. "I just wanted to tell you because you're my best friend and I don't want you to feel left out or like I'm leaving you-"
"You're moving?! I'm so happy for you guys, oh my gosh!" Haru wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a tight hug. "How long have you guys been thinking about this?"
"A few weeks I wanna say," you shrugged. "I think it's the best thing, sort of starting over and living in a quieter area. I guess that's apart of growing up."
Haru nodded in agreement, fiddling with the ring on his finger, "well, I also have some news for you too...he gave me a promise ring," Haru held out his hand, flashing the ring at you. It was a silver band with an engraving of two intertwined hearts.
"Stop!" You gasped. "No fucking way!" Your eyes widened completely, your hands grabbing Haru's as you inspected the ring on his finger. "Haru!" You whined, feeling tears prick your eyes.
"He gave it to me when we got back home after graduation. When I tell you I couldn't form words, I mean it. But I think he was more nervous than I was," Haru giggled, his cheeks turning a rosy red color while he reminisced the moment just hours ago.
"I'm so happy for you. It feels good to see you're finally happy with someone," you wiped the tear that pricked the corner of your eye. It was an emotional moment for you. Ever since you and Haru became best friends, it's been a constant sight to see him end up with someone who makes him unhappy or breaks his heart. That only lead to him becoming detached from relationships and only looking for hookups. But now, it felt like the universe did a complete one-eighty for your best friend, and he deserved every bit of it.
"Can you guys get your asses back in here so we start the movie!" Suna yelled from the living room.
"Can your impatient ass wait?! I just found out my best friend got a promise ring!" You yelled back with a smile on your face. Haru placed his head on your shoulder, letting out a small laugh.
"Wait, what?!" Suna shouted, brows furrowed before he turned his head to look at Zee.
Zee had a smug smirk on his face, grabbing the bottle of wine off of the table as he looked at Suna, "you got a wine opener?"
