❝ah, and this super energetic girl? well, it's daisy abbott. you're probably wondering how i, john b routledge, am somehow friends with one of the most famous girls in all of outer banks. well, simply because she is friends with everyone, being able to change sides in two seconds. she doesn't really hang out with us, but she sometimes joins our parties since she's best friends with the only girl in our group. she works at the wreck with kie. she considers me, as she said one day when she was drunk, like a brother she never had. anyways, i will never understand her magical power to succeed in being accepted by the kooks and the pogues. personally, we accept her with joy, but i always wonder how it goes with the rich. since she's not really full of money, but not poor although. her father is the best fisherman on the island and her mother's a teacher at kildare county high school. that's where i met her for the first time, at school. she was one of the only ones to approach us without being afraid. in short, daisy is the little sweetheart and we love her for that.❞
