Here's another update. Sorry I couldn't keep my promise for a quick update..

The next day, I got ready in Baby's room. Just thinking about everything that happened the previous day, made me smile like crazy. I was going to the bank all thanks to Henry. I had to wait till I got a call from Mary through her friend's phone, telling me she was done opening an account. Now, I was stepping out to not just transfer money into Mary's account, but to way bill my old Infinix phone to the twins.

Just thinking about how Mary and Abasifreke can now finally pay for their jamb registration and the rest of my siblings school fees, made me feel a little bit at ease. I decided to way bill the Infinix to the first set of twins while intructing Mary to get a phone of her choice but with a strict warning that both her and Abasifreke won't fight over it and the money left after all the payments should be giving straight to our parents.

I knew Henry gave a million naira to my family, but I was holding the other five hundred thousand for backup. I still had that fear that whatever Henry and I had, might not last. I chose Mary over Abasifreke to hold the money cause Mary though younger, was more responsible.

I stepped out of the house looking a bit decent, while making a self note to get my self a change of wardrop. I wasn't that close to Christy like before to start borrowing her fabulous dresses. Henry at the other hand had promised to come get me out this evening, which meant I'd start living with him. Thinking about that alone made me smile. I just couldn't wait. Baby was looking for a new flat with Jackson to help out, meaning in no time he will be out of here. Can't wait for that too. His single was coming in, in less than a month.

My friend, a celebrity?! It felt like just yesterday when he was demonstrating how he'd blow if he ever came in contact with J.K, while begging me to put in words for him.

"Going out?" I placed Baby's big padlock on his door, then turned. Christy was dressed in a gray ankle length gown. She also had a black scarf around her neck and a big red Bible in hands.

"Yeah, to the bank." I raised a brow while accessing her dress choice. "Where are you going?"

"Church!" Christy announced, a little louder than necessary.

"You," I never knew the day will come when I'd put church and Christy in the same sentence. "Really?"

Christy nodded her head rapidly. "Yeah, I decided to stop my ways. Well..... Gradually stop my ways. Maybe that way, Baby will lift his ban and I can finally get into his room."

I wanted to tell her that Baby was packing soon but Baby would kill me if he ever found out that I told her shit.

"Alright then," I placed the key inside my bag. "I'll leave you with your.... well, your Bible."

Christy and I said our goodbyes and I was out within seconds. It didn't take long to board a bike that would take me straight to the bank. If only they were faster in the bank but no, they acted like that sloth in zootopia. I was grateful to leave the bank after five hours and as if on cue, my phone vibrated in my hands only to see it was from Henry.

"Just in time," I answered cheerfully. "Just left the bank."

There was a silence in Henry's part and I wondered what was wrong. "I could've called the manager, they could have attended to you specially. The idea of you standing for long...."

"I'm fine, Henry." I was literally his bodyguard for a fair amount of time. Standing was my calling. Henry was overprotective of me and I wasn't complaining. But I wanted to show that I could handle certain things on my own. "When my family heard about the money, they were so happy."

There was a relief sigh from Henry's part. "Happy to hear that. I really can't wait to see you today, Hope."

The way his voice went deep with all seriousness when he said those last words. I stretched out my hands and began flapping down a taxi. "Me too. I'll let you know when I get to Baby's."

"Love you," A smile crawled up my lips as I got remembered at how lucky I was. Henry Williams, the heartthrob of Nigeria, was in love with me. It sounded to good to be true but I had to enjoy the moment while it lasted. It was better to love and lost than to not love at all.

"Love you," I responded while accepting my reality. A reality I wished so hard would never end. A taxi pulled over in front of me.

"Madam, you dey go?" The driver asked, while sticking his head out the window. I nodded and opened the back seat then sat inside. It was only when the call ended, I realized the mistake I made.

There were all boys in the car. The driver, one at the passenger seat and two others with me at the back. And entering a commercial vehicle in Lagos with all boys in it was one of the biggest red flags out there.

It was better safe than sorry. I wasn't going to judge who they were, but I also wasn't going to take chances. So I decided to try the handle so I'll leave the car but no matter how hard I tried, the car door wouldn't open. "Oga, open your door, I forget something for bank."

The driver completely ignored me like I wasn't there in the first place, then turned the key in the ignition. I spotted the guy at the passenger seat snickering and I knew I was really in deep trouble.

"Oga, I say I no dey go again!" I yelled so loud when the car started moving. But telling him I wasn't going was no use, so I opted for the next best thing. I slammed my fist hard at the rolled up window, not caring if it hurt my skin or not. "Help! Help! Help! Helβ€”"

I felt a face towel around my mouth to shut me up I tried struggling and successfully kneed the person on his groin

"Arrrgghh!" I heard him scream in pain followed my a hard bitch slap across my face. I felt my breath leaving for a second and my head spinning a bit. I wanted to cry at how painful that slap was but I wanted so hard to get out of here.

"Fucking bitch!" The guy banged my head hard at the rolled up window and I felt something warm slide down the side of my face. It didn't take long to realize it was blood and the guy beside me hard a devilish grin which somehow indicated that I shouldn't have kneed him.

"Samuel be careful, Wilson will be so mad!" The driver said sternly.

"Wilson?!" Said the boy that slapped me. "She almost made me impotent! Isn't Wilson taking orders from that lady? Why will he be mad?!"

"Ooooh," Said a distant voice. Probably the other guy also at the back. "Sometimes eh Samuel, you dey talk as if you no just get sense!"

"Meβ€”"

"Wilson no be our boss? Even though him dey take orders from another person, he no be our boss?!"

I couldn't tell whom was talking at this point, knowing how bad my head was spinning and how I was loosing consciousness.

"See guy," Said the guy at the passenger seat. I could somehow recognize his, knowing how he sounded like those Lagos conductors. "If you wan join this crew, you got to wise up o. Even Wilson get power pass the person wey hire us, incase you no know. If Wilson talk no, even God no fit talk yes so mind yourself o. Make Wilson no just hear you."

Wilson....

I couldn't keep my senses up much longer as I was drifting away from their conversation. The guy beside me must have hit my head a little bit harder than necessary and for some reason, I no longer felt the pain. I no longer felt anything.

Wilson.....

For some reason, I had a face for that name but I hoped so hard to be wrong.

Henry, I feel so scared.
