It was easy to let Yemi cling on me while the crew wandered about to get our interview ready. Even standing from a distance, I could feel Eniola's eyes on Yemi and I. When I couldn't take her stares any longer and also couldn't take Yemi so close to me, I excused myself making Yemi whine in annoyance as I strode over to Eniola.
"Staring is rude, you know?" Eniola cleared her throat while looking up at me. Half of me thought she'd deny staring.
"Do you like her?" She whispered, surprising me a bit by her question. "You seem not to like her. Why?"
"I wonder what gave that away," I tried brushing her curiosity off. "Weren't you one of those shipping me and Yemi?"
"How could I ship you both when we both...." Eniola trailed. I knew exactly what she wanted to say. "Look, even the cleaners will notice something's off. You're acting like she's corona or something."
I made a smile rest on my face but said nothing in regards to her last statement. No matter how much I disliked being with Yemi, I couldn't stop it.
"I'm just in a bad mood," I finally said.
"About being scammed by your bodyguard?" Eniola asked innocently. I couldn't blame her, that was the word going around the Internet. Hope was being called a human fraud. I wish I could tell Eniola how much I felt for Hope, how much she was anything but a human fraud to me. But I just couldn't.
The interview went by in a flash. The topics consisted of; Hope hiding her identity to fraud me and the premiere to our new movie. Aside from those topics, we had highlights which consisted of how Yemi and I relationship was these days. Too bad there was no relationship to begin with.
Right after the interview, I got a surprise sms.
Ola :
I'm in Lagos sweetheart, let's have dinner.
-6:30pm
If I said I wasn't surprised then I'd be the biggest liar out there. What was Ola doing in Lagos? What was she doing in Nigeria?
Olamide happened to be my immediate elder sis, the so playful yet no nonsense person when it came to my wellbeing. Though Dorcas was the eldest, Olamide had twice the authorities.
I quickly replied, asking her to send in the address. After my reply got sent, I proceeded to my car but was stopped by Yemi. "Where are you going?"
I tried ignoring her but she was like a pest. "The bodyguard is out of our lives yet you keep acting strange. I did you a favour, Henry."
I swiftly turn to Yemi and pushed her against the nearest wall, her body trapped inbetween the wall and me.
"You did me a favour?" I scoffed in disbelief. "You thought what you did was helpful to me?"
"What then do you want as a reward? A kiss? This?" I lowered my head, my lips so close to hers. So very close. I could feel her raspy breath against mine. I could feel how tensed she was while anticipating my lips on hers. "But you won't have it."
I pulled away, placing my hands in both pocket as I watched her visibly exhale.
"Aside from the camera eye, do not talk to me. Do not touch me and do not stand three feet close to me." Yemi eyes were big and wide. It was also welled up with unshed tears that I almost felt pity for her. I turned and moved to my car. Atleast I had dinner with my sis which would make me forget my awful life.

I pulled at the address Olamide sent to my phone. It turned out to be a cozy eatry, our favorite eatry since we were kids. Stepping into the place, I scanned the room in search of Olamide and at the same time, heard fans in loud whispers. So took out their phones while others waved shyly when our eyes met.
I finally spotted a frantic wave and noticed it was Olamide giving out her gummy smile.
I walked over to her booth and slid in. She had ordered some cold drinks on our table so there was no need to call the server.
"When did you arrive?" Was the first thing I asked when I pulled off my brown jacket, revealing the inner white shirt. "I could have picked you up from the airport."
"How could you? I saw your update." Olamide announced, sipping from her plastic cup. "You were having an interview."
"I could have cancelled," I said as a matter of fact, then leaned against my chair. "You are more important."
That forced more gummy smiles from my sister. "The truth is I wanted so hard to surprise you. Once I kept my bags at mum and dad's, I texted you immediately. Mum and dad are worried by the way. They're asking me to talk some sense into you. You aren't visiting home, why?"
I sighed, taking a sip of my drink. "Been busy."
"Been busy?" Olamide scoffed. "That's not an excuse. You're in Lagos and so does mum and dad. Your place to theirs is like a fifty minutes drive yet you still have excuses."
"How's your husband?" Olamide looked at me with squinted eyes, knowing what I'd just done.
"He's fine," She sighed, letting the topic go. "Got something for you."
I looked beside my sister but couldn't find anything. "Where are they? In your car?"
"At mum and dad's," I sighed, rolling my eyes. I knew what she did there. "If you want them, then come with me."
"I'll pass," I shook my head. "You know how mum and dad is. Next they'll start asking about my girlfriend and we both know I can't present Yemi to them."
"Oh," Olamide nodded in understanding. She was also aware of Yemi and I false relationship. It was something I couldn't hide from her. "Well, unto other things. I heard your bodyguard tried to scam you."
Of course she would. The Internet was really faster than lightning these days. "Unfortunately, I'm in love with that fraud."
Olamide brows lifted comically. "Sorry?"
I chuckled a bit at her reaction. "I'm in love with that fraud."
She waved her hands, "Come again?"
I sighed, this was Olamide. "I said, I'm in love with that fraud."
"You just said 'love' three times. That's three times more than the amount of times you've said the love word to me." I laughed at her pouty lips. "Take her to mum and dad."
"That's it?" I asked, stunned. "You aren't going to ask why I'm in love with someone the Internet is labeling as a fraud?"
Olamide shook her head. "You trust this girl and I trust you. You're really smart so I believe in your decision. If you've found something good in this girl then so be it. Besides, I've never heard you said you've loved a girl in the past. I was starting to think you were gay."
I rolled my eyes at her last words. "If you like this girl, then go for it. Your happiness comes first, baby bro."
"Well Dorcas feels otherwise," I whispered.
"What do you mean?" Olamide leaned closer.
"She forced Hope outta my life after finding out she's a girl. She's really against any relationship between Hope and me."
Olamide laughed once I was done talking. "When as your happiness ever been her cup of tea? I told you not to follow her plan with that fake relationship but you still believed in her. Anyways, forget about Dorcas. I'll handle her if she ever crosses the line."
I felt happy seeing Olamide, for real. She was always the one pushing me to do what I feel was right and not what others feel was right for me.
"Why are you even back?" I couldn't help but ask.
"Oh," Olamide was grinning from ear to ear. "As you can see, I'm four months pregnant. I'm carrying my first child honey!"
My jaw dropped a little. That was when I noticed the slight belly bum. I stood up promptly which attracted many others.
"You're being serous?" She could just be pulling one of those her infamous pranks and this could all be a small belly fat. Olamide equally stood and nodded frantically. "Oh my God!"
I reached over and hugged her, which attracted many phone camera clicks. We both sat back down, "Wow!"
Olamide kept grinning with her attractive gummy smile. "Hey little boy, you're gonna be an uncle soon."
"Stop making me emotional," I laughed and so did Olamide. "Should I call Jackson and tell him you're here?"
"I'm seriously yet not ready for his truck load of compliments," Commented Olamide, seeing how Jackson had a massive crush on her.
I was grateful to see Olamide again, she was the only one I felt could understand me the best.
