━━━ THE FIGURE NEXT TO COVENTINA SHIFTS. Her eyes glinting with the stars in the sky as she grins. "Smile, little one." She tells Coventina.
Coventina glances up at the night sky and smiles. She's never seen such a beautiful sight in her life. The stars twinkle back at her, the moonlight reflecting off of them. "It's so..." She blinks back tears and smiles wider.
"I've never seen anything like this." The wind rustles through her hair, and her grin grows even bigger. But suddenly, the wind becomes strong, threatening to blow away the moon's radiance.
The figure smirks, "It's you who is causing all of this chaos." She tells hers.
"I know." Coventina replies as she watches the sky darkening more and more.
The wind continues to blow violently, threatening to extinguish the moon's brightness. The figure's smirk grows wider, her eyes gleaming in the darkness. She leans closer to Coventina and whispers: "You have the power to control this. All
you need is to embrace it."
"Yes, I know. I know the destruction I have but why does everything hurt?" She asks the figure.
"Because sometimes some decisions are made and people get hurt." The figure stands up, flipping her white silver hair.
"Don't worry, I am always by your side." The figure adds.
"How can I trust you?" Coventina asks get.
The figure sighs. "You don't have to trust me. But let me ask you something: Who else can you trust right now?"
The sky grows darker and the wind swirls around them. It feels like everything around them is being consumed by darkness and chaos. But the figure remains calm and collected. Coventina feels a hint of trust in that calmness.
"You always had your way with words have not you? Aerys." Coventina smirks.
"You love manipulating me- not in a bad way but still." Coventina looks at her. "Just like I manipulate you and others." Was left unsaid by her.
Aerys chuckles. "Yes, my words have a way of convincing you." She meets Coventina's gaze, her eyes twinkling playfully as she leans closer. "And don't worry, I like manipulating you -- in a good way." She smiles reassuringly. "It's part of who I am."
"I need to go back with the others." Coventina tells her, her heart aching
at the recent betrayal. Yet a deep anger shine in her deeply.
"Will you forgive Aurelius?" Aerys asks her. "I...I don't know." Coventina's voice is shaky, and her heart is still aching from the betrayal. She wants to forgive Aurelius, but she's not sure if she can. "I thought we were friends and he betrayed me. It hurt..."
"Yet... Something inside of me call out for him, for that stupid Black too. Sometimes I wish that I never met him. Fate seems to always be on his favor." Coventina murmurs.
Aerys stares at her, her expression softening. "Fate can be cruel like that... It feels like we're meant to meet some people and love them, and yet they betray us in the worst possible ways. It hurts."
Aerys leans forward and whispers in Coventina's ear: "But remember, fate also brought you to me. Do you truly wish that we never met?"
"Hm, the only trouble you bring me is by taunting Black, you also hide things from me." Coventina looks at Aerys.
"Why do you hate him? Why does he hate you so much?" She asks.
Aerys pauses for a moment, considering her question. "He hates me because I remind him of all that he has lost...." She turns away from Coventina and stares off into the darkness. "And I hate him because he reminds me of what I have lost as well."
Aerys smirks and looks at Coventina. "But unlike him, I won't do the same mistake and just so you know." Aerys pauses. "You are the cause of our hatred." Aerys chuckles.
"Me?" Coventina is surprised to hear this, and she tilts her head slightly. "How am I responsible for your hatred?"
"That's a secret." Aerys stands up. "Let's go, your family must be worried, the asholle must be too, I can sense his distress from now." Aerys rolls her eyes.
"Antares or Aurelius?" Coventina asks.
"Aurelius's are boredom and remorse. Antares's are exhausteness and distress." Aerys shrugs.
"Well, I'm intrigued by this secret... but if you don't want to spoil it for me, I understand," Coventina says with a chuckle.
"Antares' emotions sound a lot stronger than Aurelius', though. I'm guessing he's in a lot of distress?"
"Even though I hate him, I can unfortunately assure you that Antares would die for you and genuinely care." Aerys frowns at her own words which was the truth.
"Oh..." The realization seems to hit Coventina as a wave of emotion washes over her.
"So... he would do anything for me?" She asks quietly. "Hm, you just need to ask him." Aerys shrugs her shoulders, her cherry pink lips press together.
Coventina let out a sigh, "I also keep secrets but not about others. I don't like secrets about myself being hide from me." She explains.
Aerys chuckles. "I am sorry, little one but even those who know every secrets in the world are force to keep their mouth shut." Aerys tells her softly.
Both girls makes their way through the hall, the rain took it's time to stop and Coventina was surprise when she saw two figure leaning against the wall.
"I knew something was wrong when Thanatos says that you were with someone that can be trust." Antares's soft eyes went cold in a instant.
"Hello, darling." Aerys smirks.
"Go jump off a cliff, you won't be miss." Antares let out a cold sigh. "Why are you even here?" He asks her with an annoy tone.
"For my little one, now both of you need to get the hell out of our way." Aerys glances at Aurelius then back to Antares.
"Do I look like I take order from you?" Antares smirks.
"Get out of the way, Black." Coventina speaks to him coldly, her bangs covering her right eye.
Antares's smirk falters yet he didn't disobey her wish. "You were saying?" Aerys chuckles amuse by all the drama.
Coventina watches them glares at each other. The hatred both had for each other was nothing good. She moves away from them and looks at Aurelius.
"One reason." Coventina states firmly. "If I truly was able to stay or take you three, I would." Aurelius tells him.
"Liar."
"I, Aurelius Rosier swear to Lady Magic if I truly was able to save Coventina Potter, Aelora Nikova and Anastacius Peverell, I would so mote it be." A light appears and Lady magic did her things.
Aurelius still had his magic.
"That doesn't mean that I will forgive you." Coventina stuck her hair behind her ear. "Hm? I know you too well, don't lie to me." She frowns.
"Damn you."
"You don't have to forgive me neither way, but let's go. Your brother is giving me the silent treatment." Aurelius smirks.
"Narcissic, are not you?" Aerys rolls her eyes.
"Nobody asks for you here." Antares scoffs. "I should just kill you."
"You are not killing her." Coventina looks at him coldly. "Come on, Aerys,
we need to go to the Great Hall."
Aerys smirks before whispering in Antares's ear. "I am winning, you won't be able to have her again. Not if I stop you." Antares grips on her wrist.
"You are only alive because she told
me not to kill you, but do something that hurt her or something that ruin everything I plan, then I won't hesitate to rip out your head." He whispers, his tone was hard and cold.
Antares let go of her wrist, he knew she was not scared. She was a risk raker after all but his threat was true and clear. Soon enough he will have to tell Coventina everything.
But it was not the right moment to tell her everything. Antares hate keeping secret from her- from others? He doesn't care but he hate hiding the truth from her.
All because of Fate.
Coventina walks in the Great Hall, she was quickly taken in hugs by all her family except her stundere uncle Lucius who was smiling at her.
"Tina! How could you call me tiny!" A pout form on Aelora's face.
"Because you were." Aelora frowns.
"Hm guys, why is SHE here?" Delphina points at Aerys who had a smirk on her face. "None of your pretty business."
"Hello, everyone!" Aerys grins, "My name is Aerys Fane, daughter of Keira Fane, Heiress to the noble house of the Fane." Her mother, Keira gasps surprise.
"I am Coventina's bestie."
"Back off." Delphina scoffs.
"No way!" Aelora rolls her eyes.
"Keep dreaming." Daphne shrugs.
Coventina runs her hand through her hair slowly. "Guys, don't be like this to her." Aelora scoffs and looks at Coventina.
"She says that you are her bestie! I am your bestie with the two blondie!" Aelora Points at Delphina and Daphne who frown at being call 'blondie'.
"You are my sister, Delphina is my godsister and Daphne literally calls me 'her spawn'." Coventina shrugs and sit next to Achilles who was still glaring at Antares who didn't care.
Aurelius takes out a bag of gummies and show it to Emrys. "Will you talk to me now?" Emrys frowns as he looks betrayed.
"You are buying me with gummies?" He asks Aurelius. "Yes." Aurelius admits shamelessly.
"You win." He takes the gummies and gave some to his siblings.
"This life makes me want to murder people." Antares plays with the ring on his finger. "Then die." Coventina shrugs.
"Touché." Antares mutters dramatically, though he was affect by her coldness but he just accept it. After all if he can't handle some of her hatred then there is no point for him to be in love with her?
He could handle all the hatred she would bear for him if it's mean she
will stay safe every time by his side.
"Moony, what did I raise?" Sirius asks innocently.
James replies. "Padfoot, you didn't raise him-"
"Exactly."
Remina slaps the back of his hair. "You are no better! Specially with your stupid prank."
Sirius wince remembering his mistake of a prank.
Regulus watches his brother wince in amusement who he read his book, his head on Pandora's shoulder.
Andromeda was having a sweet talk with her daughter while Narcissa was talking to Lilia.
Aerys was talking to Coventina with a smirk on her face. Her silver white hair, was so beautiful that Coventina braids it slowly with Aerys's permission.
Her eyes fixes on Antares who was looking back at her.
"Time to go back to the reaction." Death/
Thanatos was himself entertain by the drama.
