━━━ "IT WAS YOU?" COVENTINA SAYS. Her voice lacing with hurt and betrayal. Aurelius remains silent, his eyes fixated on her with no remorse.
Conventina takes a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure. She feels the betrayal tearing at her heart and
the anger boiling up inside her.
"Yes, it was me, princess." Aurelius replies, his green eyes fixed on the girl infront of her. The same girl that was once the purest angel was now the most cruel fallen angel.
Conventina is taken aback by Aurelius's brazen response. His words sting like daggers, but she refuses to show him any sign of weakness.
She takes a deep breath and composes herself, determined to maintain her composure. She looks directly at Aurelius, her eyes piercing through his soul.
"That night," She starts, her voice was still lacing with hurt. "You were there, you helped me." She says calmly.
Aurelius doesn't respond, he only watches her with a mixture of remorse and defiance.
Conventina continues, her voice no longer shaky. She speaks calmly but with an underlying intensity. "That night, you made a promise to me. You said you would be there no matter what." She says, her anger beginning to rise.
Aelora bites her bottom lips and tugs on Anastacius's sleeves.
"I begged you to stay! And you bastard left me there- left us! All alone in that hell-hole when you would have clearly bring us back to my father!"
Conventina's anger spills over and the words come pouring out of her in a sudden rush. She can feel the betrayal boiling up inside her as she thinks of the promises Aurelius made to her that night--promises she believed he would keep.
"You made us a promise and then you broke it!" she yells, her voice rising in volume. "You hurted me...us! You were the only person I had!"
Emrys let out a shaky signs and looks
at his fiance. "What did you do?" He whispers softly. He knows and remembers how his fiance and youngest sister have one of the relationship.
Conventina takes a deep breath and tries to calm down, but she feels her rage still growing inside her. She wants to lash out at Aurelius, to make him pay for the betrayal.
But with the reminder of Emrys' presence, she holds herself back. She looks at him with a hard stare and he can tell from her expression how angry she is. "So you don't know what he did? He didn't tell you?"
Emrys raise a brow Conventina's sudden change in demeanor and the accusative tone in her voice. He glances briefly over at Aurelius, wondering if his fiance knows about the secret he is keeping. He knew some but not everything.
"No...he didn't tell me anything," Emrys replies cautiously, trying to gauge where this conversation is going to lead.
James felt a cold shiver ran down his spine as he watched his biological daughter in this state- not even in the memories he was watching he ever saw her like this.
Achilles was going to kill someone and Sirius was tensing being confuse at the same time.
Coventina turns around and her eyes catches Antares's. His face were normal, as if he was indifferent to whatever was happening or as if he knew this would happen.
Both idea pissed Coventina off even more.
"Did you know?" She askes him, Antares looks at her. "Little Goddess." He murmurs softly.
"Antares fucking Black, did you fucking know?!" Antares nods. This was the last
crossing line.
Conventina is boiling with anger, triggered by Antares's confirmation that he knew the truth. Her rage feels like a raging fire inside her, threatening to consume her.
She looks at Antares, her eyes burning with hatred, and she can't help but feel betrayed by him as well.
"You knew," she says through clenched teeth. "You knew all along..." she adds quietly, her voice dripping with resentment.
She chuckles.
"All of you can go hell." they watch her disappear out of the room, but moments later, the thundering sounds of screaming fill the air.
Soon, the rain starts falling and the sounds of lightning cracks pierce through the sky, as if the gods were echoing Conventina's anger.
Meanwhile, Antares remains unmoved by the chaos unfolding around him, his eyes glowing lightly. "I am sorry, little Goddess, but I can't make everything become sunshine and flowers." He murmurs.
"Both of you have five seconds to tell what you did to my dayghter because I rip out your heart, crush it and make you choke on it." Achilles's anger was clear in his voice.
Aurelius looks at him, he was not scared of Achilles and he will never be scared of him but he he respect him.
"Father-" "Quiet." Emrys sighs.
"Enough!" Thanatos stands up and looks through the window. The rains were pouring so hard, no doubt that it will create floods. The wind was making trees crashing into each other, the thunder was like a roar of a dragon and it was merely Coventina's anger.
"I know many are confuse." Anastacius and Aelora sighs nervously. "I will show everything."
"Calm down, Achilles." James tells him, his eyes full of worryness for his daughter so was his mother. His father was angry as well.
Evan was worried for his son who sat next to Emrys.
"I don't know what you did but it better not be that bad, Rosier." Emrys tells Aurelius coldly.
"I will kill you, Black." Anastacius glares at Antares. "You can't." Delphina tells him firmly. "Are you serious?" Delphina sighs.
"Let's just watch what happen." Aelora says trying to stop the tension from rising.
"Where is my daughter?" Achilles asks coldly, his tone sends shiver in many's spine.
"She is with someone that can be trust." Thanatos says. Everyone looks at the screen as the screen light up.
THE NIGHT WAS BLUR AND COLD. As the night grew ever darker, the cold air crept in. The abandoned building was a shell of its former self- its roof collapsed, the walls cracked and crumbling, the rooms infested with mold and rotten wood.
The stench of the place stung. It was hard to see much beyond any flashlight beam, but anyone could caught glimpses of the horrors of this place: the walls dripping with mold, pools of flooded blood everywhere.
The firsts and seconds were hiding
their face in the oldest's shirt, even
the Slytherins.
Anastacius closes one of his eyes and breaths slowly. "Damn my memories."
The building had been abandoned for so long. Over time, storms, flooding, and years of neglect had reduced it to nothing more than a place for the dead. And yet still, every night, when the cold air and darkness crept in the darkness and the cold.
In a room, full of dust and aura of death, a small girl that was not even 8 years old was sitting on the floor. Her tiny arms tightened around her knees as protection.
Anastacius sighs shakily and he mumbles words. "Fever, Tina and magic." He hisses gripping on his hair.
"Anas!" Aelora and Delphina went to him.
"I am fine." He replies through his gritted teeth.
Her long dark hair were curly, dirty yet so lightening even in the dark. The moon were reflecting the blood in the room as she whimpers softly, her lips quivering as she cries silently.
"The poor baby girl." Euphemia looks at the girl with love and affection.
"Princess." Aurelius sighs softly. "I had to."
The small girl's breath came out in ragged whimpers, her tiny body trembling in fear. She hugged herself tightly, trying to protect herself from some unseen evil, like a blanket of protection.
The moon illuminated the room with the eerie light of blood. The walls were stained with it, the floor covered in dark puddles. It ran like rivers down the girl's face as she wept.
Achilles's breaths was caught in his throat. "Damn it-!" He growled low
and full of rage.
"I fucking came back fix things! Not the over way around." He thoughts angrily.
James tenses in his sidr, this girl had to be their daughter, there were no doubt.
The little, 6 years old Coventina Potter stood up slowly as she silently walks toward the only bed in the room she was in. She looks at the little girl that was shaking her head, the little was having a fever as she was sweating.
"She was so cute! What happened to her?" Draco says amuse.
"Don't let her hear you." Aelora flashes a cold glare at him.
"Hmfo, damn you Nikova."
"A-Ael..." Coventina whispers shakily trying to help the girl she loves, one of the only she considers as family.
Coventina crept up to Aelora slowly, her footsteps nearly inaudible in the thick stillness of the room. She looked at the small girl, her tiny frame trembling beneath the fever. Seeing her this way broke Coventina's heart, as she loved this little girl dearly.
"Oh, poor babies." Lilia gasps horrified, her grandchildren were alone in a room full of blood!
Bloody hell.
Literally.
Coventina tried to help, to ease the girl's suffering, but she was only a little girl herself. She didn't know what to do. All she could do was to whisper her name.
"A-Ael?" She whispers again, looking at the window. A small gasp left her lips as she saw a small fire outside. Near the cliff, she looks back at Aelora and clenched her tiny hands determinately.
"I-i w-will help you!" She mumbles.
Antares smiles.
With no other options, Coventina climbed out of the window. She landed hard on the ground and let out a whimper of pain. She quickly hid her hurt, making her way toward the cliff, determined to help her dear friend.
Aelora wince at the scene. Coventina was the youngest yet she was always
the one helping them.
Sirius smiles as he remembers how he would run to his aunt Dorea for help every single time.
Regulus smiles.
The moon cast strange shadows over the landscape, illuminating the scene in eerily beautiful light. The night was still and calm, but a chill ran through Coventina's body. She kept moving slowly but steadily, the pain in her arm growing worse.
As Coventina makes her way to the cliff, she suddenly sees a boy with green eyes staring at her. She stops and stares back, her heart beating fast. Green was her favorite color; it reminded her of the sea, something which she loved.
"You were between nine and ten, right?" Emrys asks his fiance coldly. He was still mad at him for whatever the way he hurted his sweet sister.
"Yes, love." Aurelius sighs.
"Damn, my son looks nothing like me." Evan shrinks in his place.
Barty frowns.
The boy's eyes were deep and mysterious, like a bottomless ocean of secrets. He sighs and looks away, his gaze lost in the distance.
"H-hey!" Coventina called out, her voice trying to stay firm was naturally not.
As Coventina called out, the boy's eyes quickly turned in her direction. His gaze was intense, as if he was examining her. Coventina could feel her heart racing, beating faster than it ever had.
The boy didn't say anything, but his eyes gave off a sense of interest. He stared at Coventina, his green eyes studying her carefully.
"H-help me..." She told him.
"Tell me you helped her." Emrys looks at his fiance.
"I did." Emrys sighs out of relief.
Coventina's heart skipped a beat as she said those words. She was asking a stranger for help, someone she had only just met. Her cheeks felt hot, her breath coming quick and shallow.
"At least, she was aware of that." Rodolphus mutters.
"Well she has a brain." Bellatrix shrugs.
The boy said nothing, his gaze still locked on hers. His expression remained neutral, his lips pressed together tightly. Coventina couldn't tell whether he would help her or not.
"I-I am t-talking to you-!" Even though she was trying to sound strong, she was still looking like a small rabbit infront of the big bad wolf.
"Aww, my baby!" Remina whimpers softly at the scene.
"H-help m-me p-please..." She tears up. Now her voice was shaky, her eyes brimming with tears. She looked desperate, like a small, helpless animal seeking aid.
The boy seemed moved, but his face still remained stoic. He stared at her for a moment longer before taking a deep breath. His eyes met her own again, his gaze steady and clear.
"What do you need help with?"
"Couldn't you puts more softness in your expression?" Antares says annoy.
"Next time you could do it for me?" Aurelius sasses back.
"There will be no next time." Firm. Cold. Antares was serious when he said that.
Surprise, Coventina looks at him and gulps. "M-my f-friend i-is s-sick. Can you help her..?"
"S-she is all hot! A-and tiny- well she is a-always tiny but s-still s-she also c-can't move." Coventina explains, her eyes shaking with worryness and fear.
"I am not tiny!" Aelora protests at how baby Coventina was describing her.
"You were, but Coventina was still more little." Anastacius states.
Daphne grins at the information.
The boy nods, his expression becoming serious. He knows the danger of a fever, especially for a little girl like Aelora. He knows that a fever can quickly develop into something more serious, something that could lead to death if left untreated.
"Where is she?" He asks, his eyes were still cold.
"Follow me!" The boy looks at Coventina who was walking, he was sure that she was tired.
"She always helped but never got it." Antares mumbles, his eyes never leaving the screen.
His Goddess hate him now.
Coventina's eyes widened with shock when the boy suddenly picked her up. She had never been picked up before by someone she didn't know, and the sudden gesture startled her. She felt small and fragile in the boy's arms, like a doll.
Aurelius chuckles, he remembers her expression.
The boy seemed to understand that she was tired, which was why he had decided to carry her. He wanted to help her reach Aelora as quick as possible.
Coventina gasped as soon as the boy pass through the bloody hall, she snuggled her face in the crook of his neck.
"She was such an angel before..." Mary mutters.
"She still is." Remina states firmly.
The boy chuckled as the bloody hall passed by quickly. He held Coventina close to his neck, her small body feeling warm and light. She was tiny compared to him, her body dwarfed by his strength.
Despite the danger of the situation, the boy felt comfort and security holding Coventina. He was protective of her, his heart beating fast every second she was in his arms.
Emrys smiles.
Anastacius frowns.
Achilles scoffs.
Antares rolls his eyes.
As soon as they entered, a small voice called out from the room. Coventina quickly jumped out of the boy's arms and into the arms of another friend, Anastacius.
"Oh. My. Morgana! You were so cute!!" Delphina giggles.
"Were?" Anastacius whispers offend.
The boy's eyes fell on Aelora, seeing her in the condition she was in. Her tiny body was slumped against the bed, her face flushed and hot from the fever. She looked so weak and vulnerable, it was heartbreaking.
"Aww you poor and sweet baby!" Daphne brings Aelora in a tight hug.
Antares's mind was still fill will his Goddess's pain.
The boy sat on the bed and looks at the boy. "Hm," He smiles and snaps his fingers.
"Huh?" Anastacius and Coventina looked at the older boys confused by what he did. "She is fine now." He said confusing the two kids even more.
"You used magic outside the Wizard World?!" Augusta shouts.
"I take no order from those pests of light followers not dark one." Aurelius glares at the woman.
"Older or not, shout at me again and I will cut out your tongue." He glares at her.
Augusta gulps, her eyes shaking with fear.
"Sit down." She had no control and obeys.
"Neville would have love this." Blaise whispers.
"What? How?" Anastacius frowned and walked toward Aelora who coughed. He brought his hand waiting for it to burn but to his surprise, she was no longer hot like earlier.
"Magic." The boy shrugged with indifference. "Magic doesn't exist." Anastacius muttered coldly. "It does."
Many looks at Anastacius.
"I was an orphan with siblings." Everybody kept their mouth shuts.
Anastacius smirks.
"No. Dark. Jokes." The children from the future shivers at Thanatos's cold tone.
"Yes, dad." Antares tells him, sarcasticly.
"Go to hell, you brat."
"Prove it." Coventina states curiously. The boy sighs, he knew what he was doing as he took out his wand and swing it gently. Coventina's eyes were shining with curiosity as she watched the boy swing his wand. She could tell he was going to perform some kind of trick, but she didn't know what it would be.
The boy held out his wand as he swung it gently, the air twisting and warping around it. A small glimmer of light appeared, growing brighter and larger with each swing. It was like a tiny ball of pure energy, pulsing with intense power.
Coventina could feel the presence of magic in the room, the way it seemed to breathe and move. She'd never seen this kind of power before. It was otherworldly.
"I swear she was always so damn curious." Emrys chuckles loudly.
"Got it from Prongs!" Sirius grins proudly.
"Come here." The boy told Anastacius who slowly obeyed. A pair of green eyes met his as the boy slowly leaned near his ears.
"Imperio." The boy cast wandlessly. "It's nothing against you, little one but forget whatever happened here and sleep next to the sleepy beauty." Much too Coventina's confusion, Anastacius obeyed and slept next to Aelora.
"You damn blondie!" Anastacius looks at Aurelius with an annoy expression.
"I clearly says that it was nothing against you." Aurelius shrugs.
"What a good excuse." Antares smirks.
"Shut up, Antares!" Aurelius and Anastacius says.
"What did you say?" Antares's grey-brown eyes narrows toward them.
"W-what did you do?" Coventina's tiny hands shook from fear as she looked up to the green eyes of his.
"P-please d-don't hurt them." She begged tearily, her voice shook.
"She is so selfless." Narcissa mutters,
her heart breaking at her sweet goddaughter's pain.
"Totally the opposite of my brother." Lucius grins lie a peacock- if a peacock even grin.
The boy's eyes met Coventina's with a gentle assurance, a smile slowly creeping up his lips. He was aware of the power he had at his disposal, and he was aware that he had used it on Anastasius.
"We are going to ignore that those kids use unforgiveable curses as if they were gift for chrismas?" Rabastan points out sarcasticly.
"Just like how you came out, mother."
"Rodolphus!"
"Don't worry, I won't hurt them." The boy spoke softly, his tone giving off a sense of trust and comfort. "I just want to help them get better. Can you trust me?"
The boy's smile grew wider as he saw her nodding in trust. He knew that he had been given a huge responsibility, and that he needed to handle it with care.
"Good, little princess" the boy said confidently, The boy started to walk towards the door.
"Seriously?" Antares facepalms.
"Oh shut up!" Aurelius frowns.
"W-where are you going?" Coventina asked fearfully as she watched him walk away.
"Leaving." He replied. Her tiny heart broke.
"You are not made to have kids." Aelora rolls her eyes.
"Look whose talking." Aurelius ran his hand through his blonde hair.
"Leaving?" Coventina asked, her little heart breaking into pieces. The boy was the first person in all her life to truly care for her othet than her two only friends, and now he was leaving. This was heartbreaking.
"She is being dramatic." Molly rolls her eyes.
"I agree." Lily shrugs.
"She is Potter's spawn. What did you expect?" Snape scoffs with disgust.
The boy replied simply, his tone steady and cold. "I have other things to take care of, things that need my attention."
"Please don't leave..." she pleaded, her voice shaky and tearful. "Don't leave me here alone...please." She begged. "Don't leave us..."
"She begged." James whispers, "That's what she meant earlier."
As Coventina pled with the boy, her tiny hands clinging tightly to his arm, the boy turned around and looked at her. He knew what she was going through, how scared and lonely she must feel.
"Damn it- kill me." Antares whisper.
"What a little thing, you are." The boy picked her up, caressing her hair gently as he walked toward the bed.
Slowly, he took out his wand and made a bed appeared and he gently placed Coventina on it.
"Sleep, Princess." She tears up at his words. "I-If I s-sleep, you wi-will leave us a-alone..!" She cried silently.
"No, no, no you poor thing!" Euphemia gasps.
"Smart." Regulus mumbles.
He knew that she was afraid of being left alone, of being abandoned again.
"She was never abandoned." Emrys says coldly, his eyes glows with anger.
"She was taken away."
"I won't leave you, little one." The boy whispered softly, his voice full of reassurance. "Now sleep, Princess, and when you wake up, everything will be alright."
"W-what's your name?" She whispered exhaustly. "Eli." The boy replied.
"Eli..." Coventina was sitting on the floor on the Astrology tower.
Next to her was a figure.
"You three?" The boy that claimed himself as Eli asked. "C-Coventina, tiny is Aelora and Sius is Anastacius." Coventina mumbled, her eyes slowly closed as she drifted off to sleep.
"Tiny-!" Draco laughs.
"Ugly ferret." Aelora crosses her arms.
"I am HANDSOME."
"Full name, Aurelius." Eli muttered as he ran his hand through her hair. "See you soon, Princess." He kissed her forehead and made her way toward the door and left.
Aurelius plays with his necklace slowly. Truly, he didn't want to leave that night.
But he had to.
As Coventina fell asleep, she felt a sense of comfort and security. She trusted the boy to protect her and keep her safe.
But this comfort was short lived. When she woke up the next morning, she discovered that the boy was gone at the same moment a frozen tears ran down her face.
