CHRISMAST IS COMING. One morning in mid-December, Hogwarts woke to find itself covered in several feet of snow.
The lake froze solid and the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban.
The few owls that managed to battle their way through the stormy sky to deliver post had to be nursed back to health by Hagrid before they could fly off again.
No one could wait for the holidays to start. While the Gryffindor common room and the Great Hall had roaring fires, the draughty corridors had become icy, and a bitter wind rattled the windows in the classrooms.
Worst of all were Professor Snape's classes down in the dungeons, where their breath rose in a mist before them, and they kept as close as possible to their hot cauldrons.
"I do feel so sorry," said Parkinson. one Potions class, "for all those people who have to stay at Hogwarts for Christmas because they're not wanted at home."
She was looking over at Coventina as he spoke. Crabbe and Goyle chuckled.
"That girl is more annoying than
the know-it-all." Evan groaned.
"Why can't they have years like us? Like our only danger is the Marauders." He adds.
"We all know that you helped them more than once, Evan." Regulus exposed.
"What?" Rabastan gasp. "That's fucking explain all those pranks in the Slytherin common room!"
"You asholle!!"
"Sorry?"
"She really has nothing better to do than to annoyed us?" Aelora asked confusedly.
"Don't mind her," Antares came toward them with Draco Malfoy and Delphina Lestrange.
"She has always been a spoiled brat." Draco shook hie head. "Kinda like you."
"Shut it, Delphina." Draco rolled his eyes.
"Marlene! She gains your hair color," James fuss over the cute little girl.
"I know right Jamie?!" Marlene join her best friend in fussing over the kids.
"Those two..." Fleamont smiles.
"I see, she must miss affection then," Coventina looked up from her book.
"Are you staying at Hogwarts for Christmas, petite déesse?" Antares smiled at Coventina.
"No."
Draco tilted his head, "So you are staying at those muggles's house?" He asked.
"Names those muggles born?" She asked in returned. "Well, your family? It was said that you went staying with your muggles family." Delphina replied confusedly.
"I have no family except those two next to me and I don't even know those muggles." Coventina answered indifferently.
"She is staying at my Manor with Aelora." Anastacius finally talked which startled Draco.
"Damn, he is like a ghost!" Sirius laughs.
"You are right!" Andromeda smiles.
Arcturus watch his grandchildren with a hidden smile. It may be hidden but Alphard saw it clearly.
Those two have always been their favorite alongside Regulus.
"Then I will send you, many letters-" She groaned, "and chocolates." Her face lifted up.
"A weakness for chocolate hm?" Antares thought slyly.
"Damn brat really know how to play
his cards." James frowned.
"We should go," Anastacius said, looking at Coventina and Aelora.
"Us too, I hope to see you soon, petite déesse!" Antares smiled brightly and stole a kiss on Coventina's cheek before leaving.
"BLACK!!" She exclaimed loudly
with annoyance and confusion.
"T-that idiot did not just do that right?" She asked.
"Are you blushing?" Aelora giggled.
"Rather die than to." She scoffed and walked away. "Antares Black, I swear to god that I will kill you!" She whispered annoyed.
"Don't kill your future husband!" Evan exclaimed.
"My daughter is staying single for the rest of her life, Rosier." James state firmly.
"That's what I said about you too, sweetheart." Euphemia chuckle.
She remembers not wanting James to have a girlfriend because then she would fuss over how he would forget poor mother.
"Wait... A second." Coventina
frowned. "Follow me." She added quickly, grabbing the cloak that was in her bag, she hurried away.
Anastacius followed behind her without hesitation while Aelora gasped dramatically at being left behind.
They came to a sudden halt in front
of a tall suit of armor.
"You had asked me to come directly to you, Professor, if anyone was wandering around at night, and somebody's been in the library Restricted Section."
Coventina clenched her hand, "Snape always getting in my damn away." She scoffed lowly.
"What are they doing?"
"Searching trouble." Regulus answered.
"Like father like daughter." Alice smile.
They stood rooted to the spot as Filch and Snape came around the corner ahead. They couldn't see them, of course, but it was a narrow corridor and if they came much nearer, they'd knock right into them – the Cloak didn't stop him being solid.
They backed away as quietly as he could. A door stood ajar to his left.
They squeezed through it, holding his breath, trying not to move it, and
to Aelora's relief he managed to get inside the room without their noticing anything.
They walked straight past, and Coventina leant against the wall, breathing deeply, listening to their footsteps dying away. That had been close, very close. It was a few seconds before he noticed anything about the room, she had hidden in. It looked like a disused classroom.
The dark shapes of desks and chairs were piled against the walls and there was an upturned waste-paper basket – but propped against the wall facing him was something that didn't look as if it belonged there, something that looked as if someone had just put it there to keep it out of the way.
It was a magnificent mirror, as high as the ceiling, with an ornate gold frame, standing on two clawed feet. There was an inscription carved around the top: Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi.
"What does that mean?" Marlene asked.
"This is why you should open a book." Remina and Lily sighs.
"What does those words mean?" Aelora asked confusedly.
"Next time, open a book." Anastacius rolled his eyes.
"It's mean, I show not you face but your heart's desire." Coventina replied.
Coventina moved nearer to the mirror, wanting to look at herself but see no reflection again. She stepped in front of it.
The room was empty. Breathing very fast, she turned slowly back to the mirror. There she was, reflected in it, cold and rageful-looking, and there, reflected behind him, were at least blood, a flood of blood.
"What the fuck!!"
"Oh my, Merlin! Is she okay?" Lily gulp nervously. Why the hell was her daughter in a flood of blood.
Regulus look at the mirror in confusion. "She looks so young in this mirror. Did this happen when she was a kid?" He thought.
Coventina turned to looked at Anastacius and Aelora before looking back in the mirror again. A woman standing right behind her reflection was smiling at her and waving.
She had dark red hair and her eyes – her eyes were green. Bright green – exactly the same shape, but then he noticed that she was smiling. The tall, thin, messy brown-haired man standing next to her. He wore glasses, and his hair was just so pretty messy that it reminds Coventina of hers.
"Oh."
James looks at the screen, he was sad yes but none of this will happen, never.
Coventina was quick to notice the other figure behind them as if he or she was hiding from her.
Dark-black hair, with pale blue eyes that could be passed for grey. He was pretty tall with his curly dark hair.
James tense, which was something that Sirius and Euphemia quickly notice.
"It's fine, Jamie, calm down..." Sirius whispered softly.
"W-why is he there?" James looks at Sirius nervously.
"I-...We don't know, sweetie." Euphemia kiss her son's hair.
"Damn, he is hot." Barty smirk.
"Shut up." Evan frown.
"Venti! Someone is here," Anastacius warned quickly. "And I have a bad feeling about it." He added coldly.
It was Quirrell.
"You?" Coventina looked at him unimpressed.
Quirrell smiled. His face wasn't twitching at all. "Me," he said calmly, "I wondered whether I'd be meeting you here, Potter."
"But I thought – Snape-" Coventina stuttered.
"Severus?" Quirrell laughed and it wasn't his usual quivering treble, either, but cold and sharp.
"Yes, Severus does seem the type, doesn't he? So useful to have him swooping around like an overgrown bat. Next to him, who would suspect p-p-poor st-stuttering P-Professor Quirrell?"
"That bastard!"
"He was fishy from the started." Regulus shake his head.
"If he touches my daughter!" Lily clenches her hands.
"But Snape tried to kill me!"
"No, no, no. I tried to kill you!" Quirrell said.
"Wait...this is wrong, we have been watching Potter all the time and yet she never appeared so easily beaten." A Ravenclaw state.
"Well observe." Mortem praise. "Just watch."
Coventina looked him and laughed, glint of amusement in her eyes.
"What are you laughing at!?" Quirrell asked. "At you, did you really think that I am such a fool to fall for this?" She raised a brow.
"Snape may annoying but he is no idiot." She smirked. "Dear poor Coventina! Saving the poor Neville! Getting bullied by the evil Parkinson...living with some filthy muggles too, right?" She tilted her head.
"You-"
"Me? I am Coventina Potter, and I am NO fool, you filthy snake." She stated with disdain.
"...and I was saying..." The same Ravenclaw was completely stunned.
"I doubt...she shares your brain, James." James rolled his eyes at Lily's words.
"Go, kick his arse, sweetie!" Euphemia smile proudly.
"You also let the troll in." She stated. Quirrell was completely oblivious of the young boy behind the invisible cloak and the girl.
"That's..." James grins.
"Where is he? The man that wants me dead?" She asked.
"He is with me wherever I go,' said Quirrell quietly. " I met him when I travelled around the world. A foolish young man I was then, full of ridiculous ideas about good and evil. Lord Voldemort showed me how wrong I was. There is no good and evil, there is only power, and those too weak to seek it ... Since then, I have served him faithfully, although I have let him down many times.
"He has had to be very hard on me." Quirrell shivered suddenly. "He does not forgive mistakes easily. When I failed to steal the Stone from Gringotts, he was most displeased. He punished me ... decided he would have to keep a closer watch on me ..."
Quirrell's voice tailed away.
Gasp of horror and terror were heard in the hall, Voldemort was literally in the same school as their children!
"There is no good and evil, there is only power, and those too weak to seek it." Coventina thought.
Quirrell reached up and began to unwrap his turban. The turban fell away. Quirrell's head looked strangely small without it. Then he turned slowly on the spot.
Where there should have been a back to Quirrell's head, there was a face, the most terrible face Coventina had ever seen. It was chalk white with glaring red eyes and slits for nostrils, like a snake.
"AHHH!"
"WHAT THE FUCK!"
"THIS...IS...so ugly..." Marlene covered her mouth.
"It's a crime against beauty!"
"See what I have become?" the face said. "Mere shadow and vapor ... I have form only when I can share another's body ... but there have always been those willing to let me into their hearts and minds ..."
"Unicorn blood has strengthened me, these past weeks ... you saw faithful Quirrell drinking it for me in the Forest ... and once I have the Elixir of Life, I will be able to create a body of my own ... Now ... why don't you give me that Stone in your pocket?"
Coventina sighed, "You are the Dark Lord? The horrible man that people fear. The one who killed my parents?" The face nodded.
"Do you know, what a coward is? A person who is contemptibly lacking in the courage to door endure dangerous or unpleasant things." She answered it.
"And you..." She trailed off.
"Just fall in our plan." Aelora smirk.
"That its, Coventina, be a Potter." Fleamont smile. A Potter always a plan in advance and Voldemort does not stand a chance.
"Sectusempra!" Anastacius cast quickly at Quirrell, a spell crushed him into the wall, wounding him greatly.
"Where did you get that spell?" Aelora asked excitedly.
"Snape is bad at hiding." Anastacius smirked.
"He just used a dark magic!!" Molly exclaimed in disgust.
"To save his friends." Orion state coldly.
"Shut up, Molly!" The twins glares at their sister.
"Let's get out of here!" Coventina quickly take out the stone in her pocket and smirk.
"See you soon, Voldy..." She whispered and quickly followed her friends out of there.
To say, the three were quick to apparated in the Peverell Manor.
"How do they know so many spells? They are only in first year!"
"It's say that Anastacius is a quick learner and Coventina seem good too, and Aelora is very cunning." Remina state.
She was impressed.
They can be created by powerful magic or advanced technology and are often used as storage spaces, homes, or even entire worlds.
"It really difficult to create thought," Regulus state calmly.
"Difficult?! You mean impossible!" Evan looks completely aww struck.
"It is not impossible, nothing is." Arcturus reply to the young boy's sentence.
"It will take time, but I will create it." She muttered, Coventina felt her body grow weak. The strain of the dark magic had taken its toll, and she knew she couldn't go on much longer.
She tried to take a step back, but her legs suddenly refused to move. She fell to her knees, feeling a wave of exhaustion wash over her.
Suddenly, she felt strong arms wrap around her, lifting her up and carrying her away from the madness she had created.
"A-Anas." She whispered before she drifted off into unconsciousness.
"Aww, he is so cute." Alice giggles, at first, she was unsure at the use of Dark Magic, but it was the girl's decision, and she was also her friend's daughter.
Family needs to be protected and James is like her brother.
"Such madness you have create there Nana." He whispers. He walked up the stairs slowly before arriving in front of Aelora's room. He opened the door and gently layed Coventina next to Aelora.
"Good night, sororibus." The screen turned black.
"The meaning?"
"We are not google so fuck off." Evan pout at the words from Remina.
"It's mean, sisters."
"Thank you."
"You have your break now before the second movie start." Mortem informs yet he was busy giving Regulus books.
Coventina Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets.
