❝ I didn't expect that I'd meet my one great love in this basketball court across our house.❞

Holding a bottle of water, Nikki Bella was smiling from ear to ear, her heart pounding abnormally as she finally has the guts to approach her text mate and her long time crush in the middle of the court, Zack Sabre Jr.

Nikki met Zack in the basketball field back when they were still college. She was a great volleyball player until she injured her left wrist. Nikki always supports him every time he has basketball practice. She was always there anywhere he goes, cheering 'Go Sexy! Go Sexy! Go Sexy Sexy Zack!'.

Zack looked at Nikki while wiping his sweat with a white cloth. She was about to giggle when a black-haired guy suddenly stand in between the two and snatched the water bottle.

"Thank you!" The guy grinned at Nikki and walks away.

Nikki's jaw dropped, watching the guy who ruined their moment, yelling. "That's not for you, you idiot!"

Nikki pouted as she placed her sight back on Zack, flocking her long brown her over her chest, "Zack, sorry about that. By the way, why haven't you replied to my messages since last week?"

"Sorry. I'm busy." Zack casually replied as he walked over to the bleachers and sat next to Zelina Vega. She gave him a water bottle and wipes his sweats off with love and care. They cuddled like an official couple and everyone stared at them in awe, except for Nikki Bella herself.

Black eyes shimmered with unshed tears, the brunette sweetheart runs away from the painful scene she witnessed. Yes. She cried. She cried even though she and Zack weren't a couple. The case is, her long time crush shattered her heart into pieces.

The next few days, Nikki deleted all her thirsty posts for Zack on twitter, she dropped all the stolen shots of him in the trash, she even ruined the poster of him on her wall, trying to move on. And so she did. She did it in just one week. Well actually, it doesn't matter how fast you move on in life. What matters is you have to keep moving regardless of pace.

One day, Slinging her guitar case over her shoulder, Nikki Bella was walking, several clear books and two paper bags were around her arms as she passed by at a basketball court.

"Bella!" Shouting in the middle of the court, someone approached and faced her wearing a smug smile.

"What's with that look, Jay Black?" Raising her eyebrows, Nikki stopped and made a grimace.

Jay White isn't a stranger for Nikki anymore. Since Jay is Zack's teammate, she has known him for more than five years already. But Jay White never laid his attention on her until that day.

"HEY! Break time is over! Go back to training!" The coach yelled at Jay from the bleachers.

"Hey! It's Jay White. Anyway, are you a booger?" Dropping what he heard from his coach, he suddenly asked.

"Why do you ask so randomly? Of course not, DUH! You're disgusting me, Jay Black!"

"Because I want to pick you first." He smiled.

"Your pick up line is obnoxious. Don't you ever say things like that again, you nasty human being."

Before Nikki could walk away, Jay White keep running after her as he yelled, "Wait!"

Uninterested, Nikki turned around and faced him, "You know what? Are you a mosquito?"

Jay White blushed as he expects Nikki is delivering a very smooth pick up line, "Hmm why?"

"BECAUSE YOU'RE SO ANNOYING!" Before she could turn away, Jay White called her once again.

"Let me help you with your things." He says, scratching the back of his neck.

"No thanks. Look, my house is just there!" Nikki replied, pointing out the house blocks away from the nearest house.

"Come on, let me." He pouted, twirling his fingers. "I want to help you."

She stared at him in defeat and shrugged, "Alright, then." Handing all of her things one by one, even her sling bag, Jay White suddenly realized how heavy her things are.

"What now? Can you do it?" Nikki asked hands were on her hips.

Jay looked up at her and smiled widely, "Of course. You did it, right? So I can do it, too."

Nikki couldn't contain herself from smirking at the fact she realizes Jay White's overload cuteness. From that moment, Nikki found herself wearing a smile every time Jay White is approaching her.

Nikki Bella believes in the saying, 'it takes 0.2 seconds to fall in love'. She knows herself. As days passed by, she knows this feeling. That feeling you get when you see his name appears on your phone. That feeling when you get too excited to go to school just to have a glimpse of him. That feeling you get every time you heard his name.

Nikki knows she's already falling for the guy she never thought she'll get interested in her whole life.

While having dinner, Brie Bella just chuckled seeing her twin sister's reaction while her eyes were glued on her phone.

"Nicole, touch your food before it gets cold." Their mom reminded her, picking up the utensils,

"Just a sec, mom," Nikki replied, chatting someone on her phone as she couldn't help seeing her TextMate's replies.

Jay - I missed you.

Transferring the chicken nuggets on her plate, Nikki let out a tenuous giggle at what she read. Brie and their mom exchanged looks at shakes their head.

Nikki - I said okay

Jay - As much as i never play with poop, i promise you that i will never play with your heart.

Breaking the butterflies in her stomach, her mom spoke up, "Nikki, are you still chatting with Zack? I thought you already uncrush him?"

Nikki looked up, "No, mom. It's Jay."

"If it's Jay, then why are you blushing? Look at your cheeks, it's like a tomato already." Her mom teases.

Nikki tugged her hair behind her ears and smiled, "Mom, I think he's courting me."

"What? You've been only close with each other for just three weeks, and now he's hitting on you. Tell him, I won't allow his courtship."

"But I already said yes to him." Nikki scratches her nape and pouted, making Brie to chuckled.

"What? What have you done? I'm worried about that setup." Her mom worriedly stated.

"Mom, don't worry. Look at his text," Nikki showed her phone, showing off Jay's last text for this morning. "Jay isn't like Zack. He's better than him and I know it."

"Are you lost baby girl? That's MJF's." Brie commented in the background.

Mom sighed, "Alright then. It's your choice, I couldn't do anything about that. But if I heard Jay did something that will make you cry, I'm gonna kick him out of the Bullet Club."

"Mom! We're in Alternate Universe." The twins reminded her.

"Oh sorry, I forgot." Momma Bella said and they continue to eat.

Nikki and Jay decided to go out for a movie date. It is actually their first date. Nikki pouted staring at the posters of the two movies her heart was rooting for.

She sighed, swaying his hands. "I love Black Widow but I know you are more interested in Wonder woman 1984."

Jay smiled smugly and placed her palm on his chest, staring into her eyes, "I'm more interested in what's next to me."

Nikki elbowed him, preventing herself from screaming. Okay, so Jay White went from insulting pick up lines to cringy but cheesy lines.

Nikki was about to drag him into Cinema 1 which is the Wonder woman 1984 but he pulled her closer to him as he noticed lots of handsome guys that looks like Chris Evans, Bradd Pitt, and Henry Cavill, entered that room.

"Is there something wrong, babe?" She asked in the middle of his hug and chuckles softly when Jay suddenly pouted.

"I don't wanna go there." He complained.

"Why? I thought you wanted to see your celebrity crush Gal Gadot on the big screen?"

"Yeah but there's a lot of guys that you may lay your eyes on. I'm afraid you might fall for them." He admitted.

"Why would I look for someone if I'm already dating the hottest and cutest guy I've ever encountered?"

He smiles as he zoomed in his vision on her red lips. Jay White never thought in a million years that Nikki will love him back. I mean, she is Nikki Bella, one of the most idolized singers in the state while he is just Jay White, an average basketball player in a court and veterinarian in the morning.

Jay actually said to himself that there's no way he could fall in love with any of his teammate's admirer but an arrow hits him. The moment he stole the water bottle for Zack, he was joking around that time but it turns out unexpectedly. It was the start. After that day, getting to sleep became hard for him 'cause he couldn't stop thinking about Nikki. She must be tired. She has been running on his mind that week until the existing moment.

"Do you mind if I kiss you?" He whispered, placing his eyes on hers.

"Holy Cow! Here? Are you serious? We're in a public area." She hesitated, roaming her eyes around. Her heart was soaring but she wouldn't show it.

"Who cares about them. I only care about us." Without further ado, he stepped closer to her, leaning his head down. She could feel his fresh breath endorsed by Colgate on her lips.

"Gosh! PDA, here we come." Wrapping her arms around his neck, Nikki murmured.

Her eyes melted under his brown ones. She flickered her sight to his pinkish lips, back to his eyes. The heavenly face vanished as she slowly closes her eyes. His right hand cupped her cheek and brushes his lips against hers in a gentle way.

"I didn't expect that I'd meet my one great love in this basketball court across our house." She blurted out as she pulled away from the kiss.

"Be mine?" He asked, melting under her gaze.

"Endlessly."
