The Great Desert that separates the mountainous kingdom of Archenland and the belligerent empire of Calormen looks like an ordinary desert to the outsider's eye, but it holds many secrets that have been forgotten over time.

Never before did the desert tread beyond its borders until one day, when the Great Desert suddenly starts to consume its surrounding lands like a feverish infection. Nothing is safe; the burning sands devour everything in their path while the cyclone of flames turn fertile land to ash and dust. 

As the storm of flames threatens to consume the world, a group of unlikely allies is called together by a mysterious force, one that echoes the ancient roar of Aslan himself.

Bound by an ancient prophecy, the group must journey deep into the heart of the desert where an artifact of unimaginable power lies hidden: the Emberheart. It is said to be the key to taming the desert's wrath, but as the past unravels itself and forgotten myths come to life, it appears not all is as it seems.

With the desert creeping closer to the world's edge and phantom mirages growing stronger every passing night, the group faces an impossible task to try and hold the storm at bay as they come to realise that the desert's hunger may never truly be sated. . .

𝐎𝐍𝐄. Be kind to me and other applicants. We're all here to have fun. It's alright to dislike a character, but don't direct it at their creator nor at me. I promise I will do my research while writing, but I'm only human; I can make mistakes.

𝐓𝐖𝐎. Activity is key. If you're accepted into the cast, please make sure to leave several in-line comments within the chapters. I'll spent a lot of time writing the chapters, and I'm not even going to ask you to do opinions once the cast is out, so the least you can do is to show me your sincere engagement throughout the chapters.

𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐄. Be as detailed as possible in your form. To write your character accurately, I need to know them better than they know themselves. Don't be afraid to go all out with their personality and background.

𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑. When uploading your form, make sure to first only comment with the character's full name and their role (more information on that later), and then leave the form as a reply on that comment. This will make it easier for me to read the forms, it helps other applicants to see which roles are already applied for in an instant, and it will keep the comment section somewhat organised. You are allowed to apply twice, but if your first character was a female, the second one must be a male ─ and vice versa.

𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄. When choosing a face claim, please make sure they are appropriate; so no instagrammers/singers/youtubers/tiktokkers/et cetera. I prefer it if they have decent gifs and photos that give off a fantasy and/or historic vibe. If you need help choosing a face claim, you can always ask me, I'd be happy to help.

𝐒𝐈𝐗. The deadline to get your form in is the 22nd of December 2024, 9PM CET. Please take your time while filling in the form. I'd rather have descriptive and unique characters to choose from, than characters who lack details.

𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍. There are several roles you can choose from but reservations for certain roles are not possible. I want everyone to have an equal shot, so this will not be a first come, first served kind of apply fic. If you see already lots of applications for a specific role though, maybe consider choosing another role to increase your chances of getting chosen.

𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓. Although you can choose a love interest in the form, romance will not be the main drive of this story. Romantic scenes and or interactions may be scarce, so please bear that in mind.
