BROOKE FORMAN WAS anything but perfect, but she could pretend. Her brother, Eric Forman, was a good kid in school. He got good grades, was always quiet in class, and most of the teachers liked him. Brooke always has quite an image to withhold- she had to be like Eric.
Her older sister, Laurie, was a disappointment to their family name. At least that's what her mother said. She slept around, and lived at home. That's why Brooke had to be perfect. The Forman's couldn't afford another Laurie. Any normal person would see a total failure her sister, but Brooke looks up to her. Brooke wants to be pretty like Laurie, and have the boys chasing her her.
That's where Richard came in. He made her feel pretty, and she gave him what he wanted. A girl to play with. Everyone, even a blind man, could see he was just using her. Laurie, for crying out loud could even see it. A year. A whole year it look Brooke to see what he was doing. She ended their relationship, but was heartbroken. She swore she'd never love anybody ever again.
But you see, that was before she met Eric's friends. Before she met a boy named Steven Hyde.
