I walked into my house after a tedious day at work. I lived there with my boyfriend of five years, Sodapop Curtis. I just wanted to see his face after my long day.

"Pepsi-Cola? Baby, you home?" I called out. No response. I walked into the kitchen and noticed a note on the table. I picked it up and unfolded it. It read,

"hey, Y/N. i'm not good at writing at all so i'll cut right to the chase. i'm missing and you need to find me. there will be three places you need to go to before you will find me. the first is the place i used to work at, and the place we first met.

i love you,

~your boyfriend, sodapop curtis"

I folded the note and put it into my pocket. Interesting. 

"This man is adorable," I said, trailing off as I grabbed my purse and walked to my car. I started it, and made my way to the DX. 

I pulled into the DX and noticed Steve was standing near the gas pumps. He noticed my car and jogged over to me. I rolled down the window and greeted him.

"Hey, Steve, how's it going?"

"I'm okay, Y/N. Here's the next clue thing from Sodapop." Steve handed me another folded note.

"Thanks, Steve." I opened the note and recognized my boyfriend's handwriting.

"you found steve! great job, babe! now, the next place you need to go to is where we went on our first date, and had our first kiss. make sure steve goes with you to find me.

i love you,

"Okay. Let's go, Steve." I said, pocketing the note. Steve got into the passenger seat. I started the car, and headed toward the Nightly Double.

"Steve, do you know what Soda's planning?"

"Nope." Steve couldn't hide his smirk.

"C'mon, don't lie. You know why he's leaving these notes."

"I do, but I'm not gonna tell. It'll ruin the surprise, Y/N."

"Oh... it's a surprise."

"You didn't hear it from me."

We pulled into the Nightly Double, and saw Johnny looking around, smoking a cigarette. We pulled up next to him. He jumped slightly, but calmed down when he saw me and Steve. 

"Hey, y'all." said Johnny, putting out his cigarette.

"Hiya, Johnny." Steve and Johnny shook hands.

"I'm guessing you have another note for me, Johnnycake." I said.

"I do, Y/N. Here." Johnny handed me the note, and got into the car. I thanked him, and unfolded the note.

"you found johnny, nice! now, the last place you have to go to is the park. screw this, you don't need to figure this out. don't worry, i'll be there. make sure johnny comes with y'all.

i love you,

I giggled a bit, and started driving to the park. The whole time, I tried to squeeze what the surprise was out of Johnny and Steve. They didn't break. I pulled into a parking space about a block away from the park, since there was no parking nearby. Steve and Johnny ran out of the car.

"Where the hell are you guys going?" I shouted, following them. After about a few minutes of chasing after Steve and Johnny, I noticed that the park was lit up by candlelight. Curious, I quickened my pace and walked to the entrance. 

In front of me was my amazing boyfriend, Sodapop, down on one knee holding a small diamond ring. In the background, there were six giant posters, presumably being held by the gang, that read, 

"Y/N L/N, WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

I marveled the sight in front of me, my eyes welling a bit with tears. Sodapop flashed one of his million dollar smiles at me.

"Found me!" he said. I smiled at him.

"So, Y/N, will you marry me?"

"Of course I will!" 

Soda wrapped me into his arms, kissing my face all over. I giggled, and kissed him on the cheek. He slid the ring on my finger, then pulled me into a passionate kiss.
