(The Potters and the Prisoner of Azkaban, act three, chapter three)

"New third-year timetables." George announced as he passed the four of them their new schedules as they finally arrived in the Great Hall for breakfast. "What's up with you two?" The youngest Weasley twin asked the Potter as he saw their faces.

"Malfoy." Ron answered for them, pointing over at the Slytherin table with his head, where Draco was still mocking them for fainting on the train because of the Dementors.

"That little git." George said as he looked over to the Slytherin table. "He wasn't so cocky last night when the Dementors were down our end of the train. Came running into our compartment, didn't he, Fred?"

"Nearly wet himself." Fred continued as he glared with his brother at Malfoy.

"You're joking?" Nora asked with a small laugh, already just imagining the scene.

"Nope." Fred spoke, happy to see her a little happier.

"I wasn't too happy myself. They're horrible things, those Dementors." George said.

"Sort of freeze your insides, don't they?" Fred asked them.

"Out of your world, Dementors are definitely the last of things I don't wanna pass." Rebekah said.

"Same." Caroline spoke, shuddering at the thought.

"I know that they're at the school to keep the students safe but if I saw them, I think I would do more than just fainting." Jeremy spoke, shuddering as he thought back about what he felt when he saw them.

"You didn't pass out, though, did you?" Harry spoke to them.

"Forget it, Harry. Dad had to go out to Azkaban one time, remember, Fred? And he said it was the worst place he'd ever been. He came back all weak and shaking. They suck the happiness out of a place, Dementors. Most of the prisoners go mad in there." George said to Harry and Nora, reassuring them.

"Sounds like a fun place." Damon spoke with sarcasm.

"How did you survive in that place?" Caroline asked Sirius.

"To be honest, I have no idea. I just know that my daughter and godson were a big help off getting through my days." Sirius replied, rather not wanting to think back about his days in Azkaban.

"Anyway, we'll see how happy Malfoy looks after our first Quidditch match. Gryffindor versus Slytherin, first game of the season, remember?" Fred asked them.

Both of the Potters felt better as they grabbed some breakfast, both of them remembering the last game against Slytherin last year.

"Good, we're starting some new subjects today." Nora heard Hermione say from the other side of the table. With curiosity, Nora picked hers up as well.

"Hermione, they've messed up your timetable, look, they've got you down for about ten subjects a day. There isn't enough time." Ron spoke, frowning as he looked down at Hermione's paper.

"So do you, Nory." Harry said as he glanced at his sister's timetable. Both of the boys shared a confused look with each other.

"We'll manage." Hermione said, quickly putting her schedule away in her bag and Nora did the same with hers.

"Besides, Harold and Ronald, we discussed it with McGonagall last night. It's fixed." Nora spoke.

"That's probably what they talked about with McGonagall." Stefan said.

"But you have Divination, Muggle studies and Arithmancy all at the same time." Ron spoke to Hermione. "How are you supposed to be in three classes at once?"

"Don't be silly. Of course we won't be in three classes at once."

"But-"

"Pass the marmalade." Hermione said to Harry as the marmalade stood right next to him.

"But-"

"Oh, Ron, what's it to you if our timetable's a bit full?" Hermione snapped at the redhead besides her. "Like Nora said, we've fixed it all with Professor McGonagall."

Since the focus had been on Hermione and Ron's argument, nobody had noticed that a piece of parchment had fallen in Nora's lap.

Entrance Hall?

- TN

Nora turned around to the Sytherin table, to see that the one she was searching for was looking straight at her while Enzo and Blaise were sitting next to him.

She nodded and almost directly he stood up, excusing himself by his two friends and leaving the hall.

Honestly the boy hadn't even need to sign the note, she knew from who it was just by his handwriting

"I'm going to the bathroom." Nora said to the three, two of them still discussing Hermione and Nora's timetables. "I'll be back in ten." She spoke before quickly following the Slytherin out of the Great Hall.

"Hey." Nora greeted, nervously, as she saw his standing right behind the door, so they would only be seen by the people passing by them. When she had walked away from the Gryffindor table she hadn't realized yet that she hadn't talk to Theo face to face yet this year. She only realized it when she stood right in front of him, looking up at him since he was inches taller than her.

He probably wasn't that tall among the rest of their year, Nora was just short and had always been shorter than most kids.

"I wanted to ask you something."

"Shoot."

"Since the Hogsmeade trip is coming soon and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" The Nott boy asked. He could've asked her when they send each other another letter, but this way was better. More personal.

"I agree with that." Bonnie spoke, asking it in person was way better. But asking on paper would've been cute too.

"Theo-"

"My friends are going to." Theo quickly added, thinking that she was gonna say no with the way she spoke his name.

"I want to go, believe me, I do, but my uncle didn't sign the form." Nora spoke, definitely not missing the way the boy in front of her let out a breath of relief.

"That's okay. We could just do something here." He said. "The two of us." He quickly added.

"Of course." The girl smiled up at him.

"You can't deny that this is the cutest thing you ever seen." Rebekah spoke to the rest of the men in the room, who were staring at the screen with raised eyebrows.

"I suppose he is not that bad." Elijah spoke, looking at his little girl's happy smile.

"Doesn't mean we have to like him." Kol said.

"Please, don't." Sirius spoke from next to James, glaring at the screen.

"Sirius doesn't like Theo very much." Jasmine spoke.

"I have my reasons." Sirius spoke.

"Yeah, he kinda does." Jasmine said to Elijah as he looked at her with a questioning gaze.

"Welcome, my children. In this room, you shall explore the noble arts of Divination. In this room, you shall discover if you possess the Sight." Professor Trelawney said to the class as she stood up from her chair, half shoving the table next to her out of the way. "Hello, I am Professor Trelawney. Together we shall cast ourselves into the future. This term, we shall be focusing on Tasseomancy, which is the art of reading tea leaves, so please take the cup of the person sitting opposite you. The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read, but first you must broaden your minds." She spoke as she placed her hands on the top of Seamus' head. "First you must look beyond."

"Jeez, buy bigger glasses woman." Bonnie spoke as she looked at the glasses on the professor's nose.

"What a load of rubbish." Hermione spoke, surprising the two boys who looked confused to the person sitting besides them.

"Indeed, that woman is bloody nuts in the head." Nora added, sharing an annoyed look with Hermione, who was on her left, Harry on her right.

"Where did you two come from?" Ron asked them with confusion.

"Us? We've been here the whole time." Hermione replied.

"No, they weren't." Elena spoke with confusion on how the two had get there without getting noticed by anyone.

"Indeed." Finn said with a nod.

"I would sell all of Nik's paintings to prove that they weren't." Rebekah spoke from her seat. At least one of them should have seen them sitting next to Ron and Harry if they really had been.

"Keep your grabby hands away from my painting." Klaus looked over to his sister with a warning look.

"You, boy is your grandmother quite well?" Trelawney asked, walking up to the table with the Longbottems and Dean Thomas.

"I think so." The boy answered, unsure of his answer.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that. Give me the cup." She exteneded her arm and Dean placed quickly placed the cup in her hands. The teacher took a look at it, before giving it back to Dean and giving Neville and Daisy a look. "Pity."

"Broaden your minds." Trelawney spoke through the class again as this time Daisy and Nora shared a look, both believing that the woman in front of them was absolutely crazy.

"Oh, your aura is pulsing dear!" She said as she stopped walking around the class and pointed at Ron, who almost let Harry's cup slip out of his hands because he was surprised. "Are you in the beyond? I think you are."

"Sure." Ron nodded and Nora had to try her best to not burst out in laughing.

"Look at the cup. Tell me what you see."

"Yeah, um, Harry's got sort of a wonky cross. That's trials and suffering." Ron spoke as Hermione look at Harry's cup. It was the same as Nora's, which gave the girl even more prove that this class was ridiculous. "And that there could be the sun and that's happiness, so you're gonna suffer, but you're gonna be happy about it."

"You got the same, Nora." Hermione said, loudly enough for the teacher to hear. But the Granger girl was quite sure that Ron's explanation to what was in the cup was at least slightly wrong.

"Give me the cups." Both Ron and Hermione passed her the two tea cups. As soon as the professor had seen what was in sight of it, she threw the cups back on the table with a gasp. "Oh, my dear boy and girl, you have the Grim."

"What's the Grim?" The question immediately echoed through the room as soon as they Trelawney's words.

"It's an omen of death." Lily spoke, calmly, knowing that Nora and Harry weren't in any danger at all, but her calmness worried the Mikealsons.

Several gasps were heard from behind the Potters as they both picked up their cup.

"The Grin? What's the Grin?" Seamus asked around the class.

"Not the Grin, you idiot. The Grim. Taking the form of a giant spectral dog, it's among the darkest omens in our world. It's an omen of death." A Gryffindor answered.

"It's an empty cup of tea." Nora whispered to Hermione, not believing that something so small could ever be an omen of death.

"That kinda looks like the dog from the end of their summer!" Jeremy noticed.

"Yeah, that was one hell of a sexy dog." Sirius joked, causing him and James to start laughing. Even more as the others, who didn't know about their secret, stared at them like they were mad men.

πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•

"You don't think that Grim thing's got anything to do with Sirius Black, do you?" Ron asked the twins as the four of them were walking down the stairs to get to Hagrid's hut for Care of Magical Creatures.

"Oh, honestly, Ron, if you ask me, Divination is a woolly discipline. Now, Ancient Runes, that's a fascinating subject." Hermione spoke to them.

"Indeed. At least Professor Macdonald is a good teacher." Nora added and Hermione nodded in agreement.

"Hang on." Ron spoke as he stopped walking, letting Harry and Nora pass him. "Ancient Runes is in the same time as Divination. You would have to be in two classes at once." He said. Once again he was confused on how exactly their timetable was fixed. There was only once class they could've had today already and the two were already speaking about Ancient Runes?

"That's not even possible." Nora said with a laugh.

"Now, don't be silly, Ron, how could anyone be in two classes at once?" Hermione asked, knowing that Ron wouldn't be able to give an answer and drop the subject.

"Broaden your minds! Use your inner eyes to see the future." Hermione said, mocking Trelawney's words as they all had almost arrived at Hagrid's hut.

"Honestly, what a load of crap." Nora spoke as the two best friends shared a laugh.

πŸŒ•πŸŒ•πŸŒ•

"That's it. Come on now, come closer. Less talking if you mind." Hagrid's voice came from above all the talking students as they all stood still in front of his hut. "I got a real treat for you today. A great lesson. So follow me." He spoke as everybody finally stopped talking and paid attention to the giant in front of them.

They walked deeper into the forest. The forest wasn't as bad during the day, so they weren't afraid to step in it.

"Right you lot, less chattering. Form a group over there. And open your books to page 49." Hagrid said, pointing to his right.

"Exactly how do we do that?" Malfoy's voice came from behind them.

"Just stoke the spine, of course. Goodness me."

"The thing almost tore off Nora's head, but sure they had to stroke the spin." Damon said.

"Careful Damon, you're almost sounding like you care." Caroline said.

"I don't." Damon lied.

Most of them finally got there books open in a normal way.

Well, most of them.

Neville's book started growling and biting, causing the Longbottom to slip to the ground to try and hold the book off.

"I think they're funny." Hermione said as she placed her bag and book down on one of the rocks next to them.

"Oh, yeah, terribly funny." Draco said, causing the four to turn around. "Really, witty. God, this place has gone to the dogs. Wait until my father hears Dumbledore's got this oaf teaching classes." He said and Crabbe and Goyle started laughing.

"Shut up, Malfoy." Harry said as he stepped close to Draco.

Draco pushed his bag into Crabbe's arm and stepped forwards to Harry as well with a smirk on his face. But then he looked up, his face filled with fear as he slowly stepped back from Harry. "Dementor! Dementor!"

Naturally, the twins and everyone else who's back was facing the other side, turned around to see absolutely nothing.

When they turned back around to the Slytherin's, Draco's group all had their hoods over their heads, imitating the Dementors while laughing at the scared faces before them.

"This kid is getting on my nerves." Rebekah spoke, hating how the Slytherin always found a way to taunt them.

"Just now, sister?" Klaus spoke, also looking annoyed at the screen.

Hermione grabbed Harry's arm and walked them both over to where Ron and Nora were glaring at the blond Slytherin boy.

Hagrid arrived back before them and this time he was not alone. The entire class stood eyes wide open at the sight of the creature, taking a few steps back. Well, all except one, who was staring at the beast as if he was the cutest animal she had ever seen. "Isn't he beautiful?" Hagrid asked the class as he threw a dead ferret to Buckbeak, who caught it by his mouth and started eating it. "Say hello to Buckbeak."

"Hagrid, exactly what is that?" Ron asked Hagrid what everyone wanted to ask him.

"That, Ron, is a Hippogriff. First thing you wanna know about Hippogriff is that they're very proud creatures, very easily offended, you do not want to insult a Hippogriff. It may just be the last thing you ever do. Now, who would like to come and say hello?" Hagrid asked the third-year students as he turned to Buckbeak for a minute.

Everyone except for the two Potter stepped back. One not realizing that the others had done it and one with her hand raised highly in the air.

"Of course, it was gonna be Nora volunteering." Bonnie voiced with a laugh, finding it adorable how excited the girl was for meeting a Hippogriff.

"Well done, Nora, Harry. Well done."

Nora smiled as she slowly started stepping forwards, while Harry glanced at Hermione and Ron behind him. He clearly didn't want to, but he also didn't want to hurt Hagrid's feelings so he slowly followed behind his sister. Well, that was after Ron gave him a push in that direction.

"Now, you have to let him make the first move. It's only polite. So you step up, give him a nice bow, then you both wait and see if he bows back, and if he does, you can go touch him, and if not - we'll go to that later." Hagrid spoke, worrying Harry. "Just make your bow." He said as the two stood directly in front of Buckbeak. "Nice and low."

Both of them bowed, like Hagrid told them to. Nice and low.

Their first try didn't work since Buckbeak started spreading his wings out towards them.

"Back off, you two! Back off!" Hagrid's hurried voice came from the right of the Hippogriff. As they did so, Harry's foot stepped on a branch, snapping it in two. "Keep still."

Both of the Potters slowly looked up at Buckbeak and surprisingly enough the Hippogriff bowed back.

"Well done, you two, well done." Hagrid congratulated them as he threw another ferret in Buckbeak's direction.

"He's so cute." Nora spoke from beside Harry, looking at the creature with pure adoration.

"Right, I think you can go and pat him now. Go on, don't be shy." Hagrid said adding "Nice and slow." as a warning to not go to fast and cause Buckbeak to be upset.

Harry extended is hand towards the head of the Hippogriff, who did not like that Harry's hand was sticking out towards him so fast.

"Not so fast, Harry!" Hagrid warned the Potter boy once more. "Slow down, Harry, that's it."

Both of them stood still in front of the Hippogriff, with their hands raised, which Nora had done in a slower movement.

"Let him come to you."

When the Hippogriff thought it was safe enough to step forwards, he made his way slowly towards Nora's hand, brushing against it to let her know it was okay for her to pat him.

She patted the creature softly a few times before stepping back so that Harry could do the same.

"I think he may let you ride him now." Hagrid said to twins as Nora looked towards the Hippogriff with excitement.

"You can go first, Nory." Harry quickly said to his sister before taking a step back.

"Really? Thank you, Harold! You're the best!" The girl thanked her brother as Hagrid lifted her up from her feet and placed her on Buckbeak's back.

Despite the danger she was in, and how worried he was for her safety, the noble Original couldn't stop himself from having a little smile on his face from how happy she looked with the Hippogriff.

"Don't pull any of his feathers because he won't thank you for that." Hagrid warned her before sending Nora and the Hippogriff off into the air.

They quickly flew out of the forest, flying above it for a few seconds before heading towards the castle, where Buckbeak circled a few towers before going in the direction of the Black Lake.

The Hippogriff flew so low to the water, that Nora let off him and looked into the water to see their reflections as Buckbeak dipped his foot into the cold water.

However she quickly held on to him again as he started going back as he heard Hagrid whistle.

"I want one." Kol spoke as all the heads of his family members turned to him.

"No way, Kol." Klaus spoke.

"I don't think it's such a good idea, brother." Elijah spoke, agreeing with Klaus.

"And what if I said that Nora clearly wants one?" Kol spoke with a smirk.

"He's actually considering it." Bonnie whispered to Elena as she saw Elijah's face expression turn into a frown, thinking about the place they could let the Hippogriff stay at.

"Well done, Nora! Well done!" Hagrid spoke with a proud tone as he helped her get back to the ground. "How am I doing on my first day?" He asked her nervously.

"Fabulous, professor."

"Yeah, you're not dangerous at all, are you, you great ugly brute." Malfoy spoke as he walked over to the Hippogriff as the two were talking, who didn't notice it until the boy stood right in front of Buckbeak.

"Malfoy, no!" Nora screamed, but it was too late.

The Hippogriff lifted his front feet and left a scar on Draco's arm as the blond fell to the ground.

Hagird quickly ran in front of Draco as the Hippogriff wanted to attack him again. "Buckbeak!" Hagrid warned, throwing a dead ferret to the other side of the open place so that he would get away from Malfoy. "Away, you silly creature."

"Oh, it's killed me! It's killed me!" Draco cries out, but it was clear to the Potters that he was just being overdramatic. And even if it hurt, it was his own fault for coming up to Buckbeak.

"This kid would do great in aΒ theatre club, I swear to God." Caroline spoke, rolling her eyes.

"It's barely a scratch." Elena spoke.Β

"Yeah and it's not even that deep." Jeremy said.

"Calm down, it's just a scratch!" Hagrid said to him.

"Hagrid! He has to be taken to the hospital." Hermione yelled from among the students, while Nora was rather thinking off leaving the blonde boy laying there, but she knew that Hagrid couldn't do that..

"I'm the teacher. I will do it." The giant spoke as he picked the boy up form the ground.

"Oh, you're gonna regret this!" Draco yelled at Hagrid. "You and your bloody chicken!"

Buckbeak quickly walked away as Hagrid and Draco came in his direction and walked over to Nora, nudging her with his head. "Hey, beautiful. Good job." The girl whispered to the bird, stroking his nose up and down to calm the bird down.
