Sadly enough summer had ended however it did mean one thing: the twins could go back to Hogwarts, the place they both loved so much.
The Burrow had been such a change for both of them. Everything that happened at the Burrow was unexpected. Everything at the Dursley's house was always the same.
They didn't get treated like servants at the Burrow.
And nobody seemed to hate them here unlike at the Dursley's.
The Weasley's car was parked right outside King's Cross Station as numerous people walked past it. Meanwhile inside the station, the twins and the Weasleys were are desperate to catch the Hogwarts Express before it would leave without them.
Nora had told Ron and Harry quietly whispering in a corner of the house and Hermione also in a letter about what she had heard at Borgin and Burkes.
But they were overheard by Ron's father.
"Did Lucius Malfoy buy anything?" He asked sharply sitting down with them.
"No, he was selling." Nora answered.
"So he's worried. Oh, I'd love to get Lucius for something." Mr. Weasley said with grim satisfaction.
"You should be careful, Arthur. That family's trouble, don't go biting off more than you can chem." Mrs. Weasley had said to her husband.
"1058. Come on, come on!" Mr. Weasley spoke, loudly helping Ginny with her trolley.
"Train will be leaving any moment!" Mrs. Weasley worried voice came from somewhere on the left of Mr. Weasely but Nora had no idea where the woman was.
"Fred, George, Percy, you first!" Mr. Weasley said to oldest children of the bunch. Fred pushed his cart through the barrier to Platform 9ΒΎ, followed closely by his twin and their older brother.
Mrs. Weasley patted Ginny on her back. "Okay." Ginny ran forwards and pushed her cart and herself through the wall as he parents followed behind her.
Only the Potter twins were left outside the platform.
Nora, standing in the middle, looked from Harry to Ron. "Let's just go."
The two boys nodded as the three of them pushed their trolleys directly for the wall. However, instead of going through it, Nora crashed against it, falling over her cart and the boys fell over as well.
"That's not good." Elijah muttered under his breath.
"No, it's not." Klaus agreed.
"Something is seriously wrong." Finn added. "First the house-elf, than the Malfoys acting suspiciously and now they get to the train."
A station agent who had previously been speaking to a woman approached them. "Oi! What do you three think you're doing?"
"Isn't that the same man from last year?" Rebekah asked Finn, who nodded.
"Sorry." Harry apologized for the three of them. "Lost control of the trolley." The station agent shook his head, disappointed as he walked away from them.
"Why can't we get through?" Nora asked the boys in worry. There was absolutely no way she would spend her entire year with the Dursley's again.
"I don't know." Ron replied, slapping his hand on the wall, discovering that the bricks were solid. "The gateway has sealed itself for some reason."
Harry touched the wall himself, to see if it was completely solid, but it was.
They heard a clock, signalling them that it was 11 a.m. and that the train was already gone. "The train leaves at exactly 11:00. We've missed it." Harry said.
Ron turned to the two twins in horror. "If we can't get through, maybe mom and dad can't get back."
"Maybe we should just go and wait by the car." Harry suggested, trying to think about a solution for their problem.
"The car." Ron and Nora spoke, both coming to the same conclusion.
"What?" Harry asked, confused, wondering what the two of them found out.
"Remember what Mr. Weasley told us this morning, Harry?" Nora asked as the three of them started to put their suitcases back on their trolleys. Nora was glad Belle hadn't gone off the trolley, but that cat was rather holding on to the trolley as Nora picked her up.
"Yes."
"Well than." Ron spoke and the three kids made their way out of the station."
"What did Mr. Weasley say to them?" Stefan asked.
"No idea." Jeremy replied, also wanting to know.
"We didn't see it." Damon said.
The screen switched to outside but not to the two Pottters and Ron. No, it changed to the Ford Anglia lifting in the sky.
"Oh my God." Caroline said.
"Is that even safe?" Rebekah asked.
"How did they even think off that?" Bonnie asked.
"That's the stupidest thing they have done so far." Elijah said, worriedly. What if the engine was suddenly out or if the car suddenly stopped flying?
"They should've waited for Molly and Arthur." Lily said to James.
"Ron, I should tell you most Muggles aren't accustomed to seeing a flying car." Harry said as they become visible inside the car, the two boys in the front and Nora with Hedwig, Belle and Scabbers in the back.
Down below, still on the ground, a Muggle looked up at the sight of the For Anglia flying above him.
"Uh, right." Ron muttered before pressing a button. The car turned invisible. However a bit later, when they were flying over the mountains, the car reappeared. "Oh, no! The Invisibility Booster must be faulty."
"Well, come on then, let's go lower. We need to find the train."
"Okay." Ron said as he brought the car down, so that they were flying right above the train tracks on a viaduct.
"Now, all we need to do is catch up with the train." Harry said, looking forwards.
"We can't be far behind." Ron spoke as he heard a train whistle sound.
"Do you hear that?" Harry asked.
"We must be getting close."
"Hold on-" Harry said, turning to Ron but they two didn't have to look around to know what they thought was true when Nora screamed loudly. "GET OFF, RON! GET THE FUCK OFF THESE TRAIN TRACKS."
"Please tell me that what I'm thinking is not what is happening at the moment." Elijah half prayed while speaking, feeling light-headed.
"Who even builds a car like that?" Damon asked.
"She better be okay." Elijah said, feeling more and more worried every second. He never had expected that fatherhood would come with this much worry for your daughter's safeness.
"He's gonna have a stroke when he sees their fourth year." James said to Lily, happy they at least knew at this moment that the children would be okay in a few moments but he could imagine the horror Elijah was going though.
He still didn't much like Elijah for obvious reasons but he knew that he would be a wonderful father to Nora.
As they did turn around they saw that the train really wasn't far behind, joining Nora in with her screaming. Ron quickly turns the car of the train tracks, sending them into a uncontrollable flight around the viaduct.
When she finally became kinda steady again, the door on Harry's side open and Harry fell out, barely managing to hold on to his door.
"HARRY!" The two who remained in the car screamed worriedly, both reaching towards Harry, holding out their hands. Harry tried to take Ron's hand fist, seeing as Ron's was closer but he couldn't hold on for long.
"Hold on!"
"I'm trying! Your hand's all sweaty." He yelled back as he finally managed to take Ron's hand as Nora helped pulling him back into the car.
Harry closed the door fast as he sat down again.
"Oh my good. Poor Harry." Caroline said, her hands over her mouth from the shock.
"I really though that he was gonna fall." Elena said.
"This is the last time they ever used this car, right?" Elijah asked the couple, who replied with a 'no'.
"What do you mean, 'no'. It's dangerous. That car should be illegal." Klaus spoke, angrily.
"I think we found the train." Harry said.
"Yeah."
The sky turned darker every minute as they approached Hogwarts at night, flying over the lake to the side of the castle.
"Welcome home." Ron said to the twins.
However their engine seemed to be running out as the car started to tremble and make weird sounds. The car made it's way down to the ground.
"Up! Up!" Harry yelled.
Ron stepped on the pedals but that didn't work either. "It's not working!"
Harry grabbed the gear shift, trying to slow down the car but unfortunately for them the car was heading for a tree.
"Up! Ron, mind that tree!" Nora yelled.
Ron grabbed his wand, tapped on the steering wheel, repeatedly. The boy repeatedly yelled 'stop' but the wand didn't do anything but breaking in half as the car crashed into the giant tree they had tried to avoid so much.
At first they landed on top of it but the car abruptly fell down so that they were in the middle of the tree.
The two Potter's watched as Ron started at his broken wand.
"My wand. Look at my wand."
"Be thankful it's not your neck." Harry said but something suddenly hit the car on his side.
"Yeah indeed." Stefan said. "You can always buy a new wand, right?"
"Yeah."
"What's happening?" Ron asked in a squeaky tone.
"This is the Whomping Willow."
"Nora, sweetheart, I don't think it's the name to let them know what kind of tree that is." Finn said.
They screamed even more when one of the tree's branches came down and started to beat up the front of the car. The glass from the front window was completly broken and Nora doubted if the front of the car would even be recognizable.
If it was not for Hedwig's hooting Nora wouldn't even have noticed that a branch came through the window at the back, barely in time to pull her head away from the place, where it went through.
When one finally beat on the headliner the car fell out of the tree and landed on the ground.
"Come on, go! Fast!" Harry and Nora screamed at Ron as they saw the tree coming down again.
So before the tree can beat them again Ron drove the car out of the tree's range and not even a moment to catch up with with their breath later, the car threw them out one by one, followed by their pets and luggage.
Nora sighed out of relief when she caught Belle.
Elijah had no chance to see this.
The original had fainted and had fallen down to the floor since no one had seen it coming.
"This was one of the worst things happening in their lives, right?" Rebekah asked. She didn't think that her brother could take much more of that.
"She's not gonna stay at that school much longer if I have a say in this." Klaus said.
"Yeah, I don't think I wanna go anymore." Bonnie said. Trolls, teachers who are possessed by an evil wizard, trees that can kill you, flying cars.
Yeah she had the feeling that these kids were dealing better with everything than anyone in this room would've done.
"We need to get him awake. He should know Nora's okay." Finn said. "For now at least." He added, not sure how long it would take for something else to come up and hurt his niece.
Kol slapped Elijah, waking him.
"What was that for?"
"Well you had to wake up one or another didn't you? And just so you know, Nora is okay."
"She is?" A hopeful Elijah asked.
"Yes. Now get your ass back on that chair so we can continue."
"Language, Kol."
Kol just rolled his eyes at his brother. "Your welcome."
The doors of the stupid car closed again and drove off, they tried to chase it but it was too fast.
"Dad's gonna kill me." Ron said while watching the car driving into the Forbidden Forest.
Five minutes later, Harry, Nora and Ron walked into the Entrance Hall with their belonging and their pets, which they left wit the rest of the student's luggage, except for Belle who Nora kept holding in her arms.
They quickly run up the stairs.
"So, a house-elf shows up in our bedroom." Harry started.
"We can't get through the barrier to Platform 9ΒΎ." Nora followed.
"And we almost get killed by a tree." Harry finished.
"Clearly someone doesn't want us here this year." Nora stated. "But why not? We're awesome." She said as they reached the top of the stairs met by a rather unpleasant sight of the Hogwarts caretaker, Filch with his his cat, Mrs. Norris in his arms.
"Well, take a good look." Filch spoke with a malicious smile on his face as glared at the three of them. "This night might well be the last you spend in this castle."
The three shared a scared look.
"Oh, dear, we are in trouble." Filch spoke, smiling even more devilishly than possible.
The screen changed again. This time to Snape's office where they saw the man holding up a newspaper in front of his face. "You were seen by no less than seven Muggles!" He threw the newspaper aside and glared at them. "Do you have any idea how serious this is? You have risked the exposure of our world. Not to mention the damage you inflicted on a Whomping Willow that's been on these grounds since before you were born."
"Honestly, Professor Snape, I think that stupid tree did more damage to us than we to that tree." Nora said.
"She is kinda right." Elena said.
"Of course my niece is right." Rebekah said, rolling her eyes at the DoppelgΓ€nger.
"Silence." He spoke, angrily as he stood up and walked around his desk, making his way towards them. "I assure you that were you in Slytherin, and your fate rested with me, the both of you would be on the train home tonight. As it is-"
"They are not." A voice spoke, making the four of them turn their heads to the door to see Dumbledore and McGonagall standing there.
"Professor Dumbledore." Harry said.
"Professor McGonagall." Nora said, happily, totally forgetting that they were in trouble. Nora knew that many of her classmates thought of McGonagall as a strict teacher but she was Nora's favorite professor. The woman felt like a mother figure to her.
"Headmaster, these kids have flouted the Decree for the Restriction of Underage Wizardry. As such-" Snape said, pointing his finger at them but he was cut off by Dumbledore once again.
"I'm well aware of our bylaws, Severus, having written more than a few myself. However, as Head of Gryffindor House, it is for Professor McGonagall to determine the appropriate action."
"We'll go and get our stuff, then." Ron said
"What are you talking about, Mr. Weasley?" Professor McGonagall asked the redheaded boy.
"You're going to expel us, aren't you?" He asked.
"Not today, Mr. Weasley." McGonnagall said making the three sigh in relief. "But I must impress upon both of you the seriousness of what you have done. I will be writing to your families tonight. I must also warn you that if you anything like thsi again, I will have no choice to expel you."
"I must go back to the feast, Minerva." Dumbeldore spoke as he turned to McGonagall. "I've got to give out a few notices. Come, Severus, there's a delicious-looking custard tart I want to sample."
Snape shot one last glare at the boys as he followed Dumbledore out of his office.
"Professor, I wanted to watch my sister being sorted-" Ron said.
"The Sorting Ceremony is over. Your sister is also in Gryffindor." The professor replied. "And speaking of Gryffindor-"
Nora cut her off. "Professor, when we took the car, term hadn't started, so Gryffindor shouldn't have points taken from it, should it?" She finished, giving her professor an innocent smile, getting a small one in return.
"I will not take any points from Gyffindor. But you will all get a detention."
It was better than Nora could have ever expected. As for the letter to the Dursleys, that she didn't care about and she was sure Harry thought the same about it as her. She knew perfectly well they would just be disappointed that the tree hadn't squashed him flat.
Minerva took out her wand and pointed it to the Potion Master's desk were a large plate of sandwiches, three silver goblets and a jug of iced pumpkin juice appeared with a pop.
"Eat in here and then go straight up to your dormitories. I must also return to the feast."
As the door closed, Ron let out a sigh of relief.
"I though we were done for."
"I think everyone in this room thought so too." Jeremy said.
"Me too." Harry agreed.
"Can you two believe our luck, though?" Ron asked them as he ate a mouthful of chicken and ham. "The twins must have flown that car five times and no Muggle saw them.
"Lucky them." Nora said, taking anther bite of the chocolate on her plate. Only one plate had had chocolate and the boys knew Nora's love for chocolate so they let her have that one.
"That's nice of them." Caroline said.
"Everytime I see one of these kids eating chocolate, I want one too." Bonnie said and luckily for her, Lily snapped with her fingers and a box of Honeydukes chocolates appeared on the Bennett's lap. "Thanks.
As they finally stopped eating and were full they left Snape's office and walked their way to the Gryffindor Tower.
"Password?" The Fat Lady asked as she was woken up from them.
"There you are! The most ridiculous rumours have been going around. Someone said you three have been expelled for crashing a flying car." Hermione's voice came towards them.
"Well, we haven't been expelled." Nora said, shrugging.
"You're not telling me you did fly here?" Hermione asked, sounding as angry as Snape.
"Well, it was quite fun until Harry almost flew out of the car and we got almost killed by a tree." Nora explained.
Hermione's angry note was replaced by a concerned one. "What? Are you all okay?"
"We're fine." Ron said, impatiently. "Now, tell us the new password, will you?"
"It's wattlebird." Hermione spoke and the portrait of the Fat Lady swung open and the first thing they heard was a overwhelming sound of clapping and applauding. Arms reached out through the hole of the portrait to pull the three who had been in the flying car inside.
"Brilliant!" Lee Jordan yelled. "Inspired! What an entrance! Flying a car right into the Whomping Willow, people will be talking about that one for years!"
"Why couldn't you have called us back, eh?" Fred asked as he placed his hands on Nora's shoulders, George beside him.
Ron's face was scarlet as he grinned embarrassedly.
Nora was quite enjoying the attention she was getting from everyone until she remembered what had happened and she wanted to tell Hermione.
"Like father, like daughter." Lily said with a small smile as she remembered how much Sirius loved attention from others.
"No, Lily, like uncle, like niece."
"Goodnight." She said to the twins as she signalled Hermione to the stairs that led to the girls dormitories.
As the two girls quickly made their way up they had no idea that Fred was admiring Nora long after they had gone.
But Nora could not tell Hermione anything about what happened at the platform or with the car because as soon as she opened the door to their dorm, she was met with questions of Lavender, Parvati and Daisy.
"I don't like that boy." Elijah said, speaking of Fred. "He should stay far away from my little girl."
And if he didn't, Elijah was sure that Klaus would kill the boy anyway.
"Oh, come on!" Rebekah said. "He's gonna be so whipped when they get together."
"Which will be never." Kol said.
