As the two adults were taking pictures of their son the next day, early in the morning, Harry and Nora watched with disgust. "Will I have to wear that too?" Harry asked.

"What? You? Go to Smeltings?" Petunia asked before they all started laughing in his face, except for the two youngest. Nora grew angrier with the minute.

"Don't be so stupid! You're going to go to the state school. Where you belong. This is what you're going to be wearing when I finish dyeing it." She showed him a shirt which was bathed in water.

"But that's Dudley's old uniform. It'll fit me like bits of old elephant skin."

"It'll fit you well enough." She replied while looking at him dirty. "You." She pointed at Nora. "Go get the post."

Nora straightened up, gave Harry a pathetic grin, and moved to the front door. Only to see four letters laying down on the carpet. And two of them were for her and Harry.

Miss. N. Potter.

She went back to the living room, handing her uncle the mail, giving Harry his letter and keeping her own. Harry seemed taken back that he had received a letter.

However, Dudley snatched it from them and brought it to his father before one of them could open it. "Dad, look! Harry and Nora got letters!"

"Hey, give it back!" Nora yelled at him while Harry yelled. "It's mine!"

"Yours? Who'd be writing to one of you?" Vernon asked while Dudley hid behind him. Now Aunt Petunia came towards the table. But as soon as they both saw the letter and from where it came, the smiles wiped from their faces. Not letting Dudley reading the letter who started to complain immediately.

"Go to your room." Vernon sneered at the two Potters.

"What room?" Nora asked, a raised eyebrow.

Before their uncle could do something, Harry grabbed her arm and hid them in their cupboard, where they could heard Dudley complaining more as his parents slammed the door in his face.

"I never knew you could hate people this much." Rebekah said, glaring at the screen with angry eyes. She felt bad for her niece and Harry.

"Yeah, me neither." Kol said, already finding ways to kill them multi pule times. Not that would be fun.

"Just let them have the damn letter." Jeremy commented. "What can be so bad about a piece of paper?"

The next few days more and more owls came with letters. It even came so far that Uncle Vernon had to close the mailbox with screws, while smiling evilly at the two kids, who watched from the cupboard. He even burned their letters.

"Fine day, Sunday. In my opinion, the best day of the week. Why is that, Dudley?" Vernon spoke but Dudley was too busy eating his cookie.

"Because there's no post on Sundays." Nora said, answering for Dudley.

"Right you are, Nora!" Harry handed his uncle a cookie, which had been laying on the almost empty plate.

"No post on Sunday." Harry and Nora both looked outside to see hundreds of owls sitting on the porch. "No blasted letters today! No, sir." They both walked closer to the window. "Not one single bloody letter. Not one!"

"No, sir, not one blasted, miserable-" Vernon was cut off by a letter flying to his head. Nora let out a laugh. And then the letters came flooding in. While Dudley went sitting on his mother's lap Nora and Harry grabbed one letter each and ran for it.

"Give it!" Vernon yelled behind them. Stopping them from grabbing a letter. "That's it! We're going away. Far away, where they can't find us!"

"Can someone be any more dramatic?" Caroline spoke about Vernon's behavior. "It's just a letter."

It was what everyone was thinking.

"He's a piece of shit." Elijah comments, getting nods from everyone, agreeing. But some were surprised by his language but they didn't say anything. It was probably the protective father coming out.

"Can you tell us what's in the letter?" Elena asked, Caroline nodding next to her.

"You'll see."

Harry drew a birthday cake, both their names on, with the dust on the floor, where they were laying on, barely a thin blanket over them.

They saw the day end on Dudley's watch. "Make a wish, Harry." And they both blew the dust away.

"Happy birthday, Harry." Nora spoke softly to him.

"Happy birthday, Nora." He replied, smiling at her. Only seven years to go from now on.

The door started to thrill, very loudly. Even Petunia and Vernon came downstairs with a shotgun. Nora and Harry disappeared behind the stove.

The door fell down and a giant figure stepped inside, stopping his umbrella away. "Sorry about that."

"I demand that you leave at once, Sir! You are breaking and entering!" Uncle Vernon yelled at him but the only reaction he got was, the giant coming to him saying "Dry up, Dursley, you great prune." And breaking the shotgun by bowing it, making a bullet shot through the roof.

"Mind, I haven't seen you since you were a baby, Harry. But you're a bit more along than I would have expected. Particularly 'round the middle." The giant laughed at his own joke. "Where's Nora?"

"Is he any danger to the kids?" Elijah asked.

"No he's not the smartest person on earth, but he would never do anything to bring them in danger." Lily reassured.

But Elijah, like the other Mikaelson's, was still looking at the giant with untrustworthy eyes.

"I'm not Harry." Dudley squeaked out.

Harry and Nora both came out of their hiding place. "I am."

"Well, of course you are. And little Nora. I've got something for you. Afraid I might have sat on it at some point, but I imagine it'll taste fine just the same." He handed a box over to Harry and Nora looked at it with curious eyes. "Baked it myself, words and all."

Harry opened the box to see a pink cake with green toppings. On the cake was written: Happee Birthdae Harry and Nora. Even though there were spelling mistake, Nora couldn't be happier. She never had a gift before. Harry had gotten some old clothes from Dudley, but it's not like that's a great gift either.

"Well at least he tried to make one, it's not like they tried." Bonnie said refuting to Petunia and Vernon.

"Yes, he seems sweet." Caroline said with her.

"At least better than those two." Elena spoke.

"He's not so bad, brother." Rebekah said to Elijah, who barely nodded back as he watched the screen, wanting to see the happy parts of his daughter's life.

"Thank you." They said to him in together.

"It's not every day that you turn 11, now is it?" He replied before sitting down in the couch with a loud pouf. He took his umbrella out of his jacket and turns on the fire with it.

Harry sat down the cake and Nora started asking questions. "Excuse me, but who are you? If I may ask, of course."

"Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. Of course you know all about Hogwarts."

"Sorry, sir, I don't." Nora replied and looked at Harry who shook his head.

"No? Blimey, Harry and Nora, didn't you ever wonder where your parents learned it all?"

"Learnt what?" Harry asked confused.

"You're a wizard, Harry. And you're a witch, Nora."

"We're a what?"

"I'm so sorry, but they look adorable at this moment." Bonnie said as she saw the two Potter's confusion.

"Yes, they do." Elijah replied.

"A wizard and a witch. And both a thumping good one, I'd wager, once you're trained up a little." Hagrid said.

"No, you've made a mistake. I mean we can't be a wizard and a witch." Harry spoke and Nora nodded in agreement. "I mean, We're just Nora and Harry. Just Nora and Harry."

Hagrid looked amused at them. "Well, just Nora and Harry, did you ever make anything happen? Anything you couldn't explain, when you were angry or scared?"

The two thought about the day in the zoo and since they didn't answer, Hagrid had his answer. He stood back up and gave them their letters.

They opened them quickly and Nora started reading out loud.

"Dear, Mrs. Potter, we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. -"

She wanted to continue but Vernon interrupted her. "They will not be going there! We swore when we took him in we'd put a stop to all this rubbish." He said with annoyance.

"You knew? You knew all along and you never told us?" Harry turned to Petunia.

"Of course we knew. How could you two not be?" She spatted. "My perfect sister being who she was. My mother and father were so proud the day she got her letter. 'We had a witch in the family. Isn't it wonderful?' I was the only one to see her for what she was. A freak. Then she met that Potter and then she had you and I knew you would be the same. Just as strange, just as abnormal. And then, if you please, she went and got herself blown up! And we got landed with both of you."

"Blown up?" Nora asked in disbelief.

"You told me my parents and aunt died in a car crash." Harry spatted at his aunt.

"A car crash?" Hargid started, not believing his ears. "A car crash killed Lily, James and Jasmine Potter?"

"We had to say something." She said simply.

"It's an outrage! It's a scandal!" Hagrid yelled at her.

"How did you die then?" Damon asked simply, as if it was nothing.

He got a punch in the arm from Elena. "Damon, you can't just ask that."

"She is right Damon, you can't." Caroline said, she loved this as an excuse to scold Damon.

"No it's okay." Lily said. "Someone killed us."

"Who?" Kol asked now.

Lily looked at the floor before replying. "Voldemort."

"They'll not be going."

Hagrid laughed. "Oh, and I suppose a great Muggle like yourself's going to stop him, are you?"

"Muggle?" Nora asked.

"Non-magic folk." Hagrid explained. "This girl and boy had their name down ever since they were born. They're going to the finest school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world and they'll be under the finest headmaster that Hogwarts has ever seen, Albus Dumbledore."

"I will not pay to have some crackpot old fool teach him magic tricks."

Hagrid pulled his umbrella up again and pointed it towards Uncle Vernon's face. "Never insult Albus Dumbledore in front of me." He then saw Dudley eating the Potter's birthday cake. So he moved his umbrella over to the youngest Dudley and a mouse tail appeared.

While the Dursley's were screaming, Harry, Nora and Hagrid were lauging. The Dursley's ran away from the trio. "Oh, um, I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone at Hogwarts about that. Strickly speaking, I'm not allowed to do magic."

The two nodded quickly.

"Oh. We're a bit behind schedule." Hagrid said after looking at the time on his watch. "Best be off." He pulled the door to the floor again and turned to them. "Unless you'd rather stay, of course."

It was still stormy outside but the followed the groundkeeper anyway. Everything was better than the Dursely's at this point.

"I agree with them." Kol said.

The Mikaelson's felt sad that Nora and Harry had been living the life they had endured. And more than anyone, Niklaus saw his reflection in their eyes.

And Elijah. Elijah was planning a murder.
