the only characters i own are my ocs and their storylines. the rest all come from the star wars universe.

this fic will mainly follow the original trilogy. for my sanity, the sequel series doesn't exist in this universe because i hate those movies. i don't care how hot you think kylo ren is those movies completely ruined what the original six movies accomplished, sorry not sorry.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: this book will contain major character deaths (like obi wan you know), murder (not much), and some strong language (but not really)

AUTHOR'S NOTE! oh my goodness i can't believe i'm publishing this fic!! star wars has always been a big part of my life. this universe has helped me bond with my dad and sister so much and aghagahhsh it means so much to me. also luke skywalker was my childhood crush.

this fic will have slow updates, sorry!! i'm in college and i have to prioritize school lol

as much as i love romance, i don't write fics for just the romantic plots. i find it very interesting to incorporate characters into different worlds if that makes sense. the point of this is, luke isn't showing up until act two I KNOW I KNOW but i want to set up marion's character before throwing her into the plot so there will be a very short act one and then i'll get into a new hope.

also, in case you couldn't tell by the prologue, i will be writing a fic about marion's mother after i finish this one, which will cover the prequel trilogy! it won't be until after i finish this fic though.

finally, i write fanfiction purely for my enjoyment. if you don't like this book, then that's fine, but please don't leave any hate comments, just stop reading. i am completely open to constructive criticism, but please don't leave hate just to be mean.
