HUMAN TO NEWBORN

The Cullens were all waiting impatiently for Bella to return from her hunting, well, everyone except Melanie and Rose, both the blonde and the brunette had been fighting over who could hold Renesmee, who could play with Renesmee, who could feed Renesmee, etc.

Currently, Renesmee was sat outside, her back against a tree, and Renesmee sitting on her legs, the baby's small hands were playing with Melanie's long hair, now and again pulling it by accident.

She was having the time of her life when Rosalie came out, saying it was her turn, luckily for the rest of the family the two couldn't argue about it much when Emmett and Alice came out, saying that Bella was indeed back from hunting with Edward.

Melanie made her way back inside the Cullen home, her hand in Alice's as they both stood beside Jasper and Caroline.

Bella walked into the room, still wearing the same blue dress that Alice had put her in while she was transitioning. "Welcome to the family," Esme said once noticing the newborn.

"You look amazing, Bella." Alice complimented as Melanie smiled at her.

"Someone's been waiting to meet you," Carlisle spoke, moving out of the way so Bella could see her baby in Rosalie's arms.

Rosalie turned around, holding the most beautiful baby Bella had ever seen...

Rosalie smiled happily, passing Renesmee over to her mother, the baby looked into Bella's eyes before lifting her hand up to her face.

"What was that?" Bella asked in awe.

"She showed you the first memory she has of you," Edward replied happily.

"Showed me?" Bella muttered. "How?"

Edward scoffed with a smile on his face. "How do I hear thoughts? How does Alice see the future? How does Melanie move things with her mind? She's gifted." He explained.

"I've only been out for two days?" Bella questioned concerned as she looked down at her baby who had obviously grown, faster than she should have.

"Her brown rate is unprecedented," Carlisle replied.

"Alright," Jacob spoke up, taking a step forward. "That's enough experimenting for one day."

"Jacob. She's doing great." Edward chimed in.

"Yeah. Let's not push it through." He continued as he leaned forward to take Renesmee out of Bella's arms.

The newborn snapped her head towards her friend, frowning in anger. "What's your problem?"

"Why don't you tell her, Jacob? Hm" Melanie chuckled, Alice pinched her side, shaking her head, silently telling her to not make it worse.

"This should be good." Emmett grinned.

"Hold on a second," Edward spoke, walking forward. "Bella." He said, snapping her out of her thoughts for a moment as she passed their child to her husband.

"Look, it's a wolf thing." Jacob began nervously.

"What's a wolf thing?" Bella glared at him in anger.

"Um... you know we have no control over it." He spoke, not realising he was just digging his own grave, deeper and deeper. "We can't choose who it happens with. And it doesn't mean what you think, Bella. I promise."

Edward passed Renesmee to Rosalie so he could comfort and calm down his wife. "Take Renesmee out of the room," Bella ordered. "Edward, don't touch me right now. I don't want to hurt you."

"Oh." That was all Jacob got out before Bella grabbed the back of the wolves neck and dragged him outside, throwing him to the ground.

"You imprinted on my daughter?!" Bella yelled.

"It wasn't my choice." Jacob defended.

"She's a baby!" The newborn shouted, taking a step forward.

"It's not like that!" Jacob yelled back. " You think Edward would let me live if it was?"

"I'm still debating," Edward mumbled with a smirk.

"Edward." Caroline spoke, "you're not helping."

"Let him be." Melanie grinned before sighing. "Ugh, I wish I had popcorn right now."

Alice gave her a confused glance causing the Denali to continue. "I've seen it in movies."

"I've held her once! One time, Jacob!" Bella continued, slowly making her way towards Jacob as she continued to argue. "And already you think that you have some moronic wolfy claim on her? She's mine!"

Bella pushed Jacob roughly, pushing him to the ground with a grunt as Edward, Emmett and Melanie watched in amusement.

Two other wolves ran over, Seth and Leah, the white wolf growled and bared her fans at Bella. "It's fine, Leah," Jacob assured.

"You're gonna stay away from her," Bella told him.

"You know I can't do that," Jacob said which earned another push from Bella.

"Stop her, Edward," Esme said in a worried tone.

"He said it's fine," Edward replied, brushing off what his mother said. "She's amazing, right?"

Seth and Leah made their way beside Jacob, in case they needed to protect him, watching as Jacob continued to explain. "Do you remember how much you wanted to be around me three days ago? That's fine now, right?"

"Lone gone."

"Because it was her." The shapeshifter continued. "From the beginning, it was Nessie who wanted me there."

"Oh, that horrible nickname," Melanie spoke to herself.

"Nessie? You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?!" Bella had finally snapped, she got ready to run towards Jacob, but Seth was quick to jump and attack her, unfortunately, Bella in her moment of rage sent Seth flying into a tree, his body crashed into the trunk, letting out a whimper before falling to the ground.

Melanie let go of Alice's hand, running towards the child, and making sure he was okay.

"Seth, are you okay?" Jacob asked immediately, but Seth only whimpered in response, resting his head on Melanie's knees.

"Seth, I'm sorry." Bella apologized, earning a glare from Melanie which automatically got her to stop. Edward once told her about Melanie's heroic need to protect children, and that's all Seth was, a child.

With the help of Melanie, Seth finally got up, rubbing his head against Melanie's body. "Thank you." She heard Leah said in her mind, the two had become somewhat close over the past few weeks, Leah and Seth had officially joined Jacob's little wolf pack, meaning the two siblings spent a lot of their time at the Cullens.

"Bella," Jacob started once again, turning his body from the two wolves and towards the newborn once again. "You know me better than anyone. All I want is for Ness... Renesmee to be safe. Happy. Look, nothing ever made sense before. You. Me. Any of it. And now I understand why. This was the reason."

NOTE: dude, 50k reads that's insane, I honestly wasn't expecting this amount of people reading this, which explains the plot holes & bad writing.... on that note though, I'm starting to write new books, that's I'm putting more effort into writing, so hopefully those are a little better.
On that note, I'm extremely sorry for how long this has taken, which is the reason I've decided to post a few chapters now even though the story hasn't fully been written yet, an apology gift! I've honestly just been going through some stuff right now
