SETTING: POST S2E9: THE GATE

Here we are again!! I had so much fun doing this, and I very much hope to do it again next season! Thank you to all who participated 💖 Also, this is a short one. I tried to give long answers since not a lot of people asked questions, but hopefully I did okay!

Will Byers:

Q: Should I stay or should I go?

A: *smiles* If you go there will be trouble, but if you stay there will be double!

Q: how do you feel about everything that has happened?

A: I guess I'm just tired. I'm still getting used to normal again, you know, how things were. But at this point, I'm not so sure it ever will. Y/n's helped a lot though, especially on the harder days. I'm still so amazed at what she did for me... *blushes* I'm really lucky to have her.

Mike Wheeler:

Q: What do you think will happen with you and El in the future?

A: I don't really know. She's gonna be in hiding for a while still, but thankfully I'm aloud to visit. Hopper is super weird about it, but I'm just happy to be seeing her again.

Q: What do you think about Y/N?

A: Y/n... might not have done such a horrible thing after all. All the time I've spent with El these past few weeks, she's told me a lot about her trip with Y/n. And even how she came to see me at school. And as much as I hate to admit it... I think it meant a lot to El that she had someone after all that time alone. Yeah, I'm still kinda pissed Y/n never told me, but El insists it was to keep everyone safe. That when she saw me with Max, she was upset, but she realized Hopper might have a point about keeping me - us - safe. That's when she ran into Y/n, and Y/n even helped her realized that her real family was here. So, yeah. Guess it wasn't all bad.

Max Mayfield:

Q: Do you feel welcomed? What are your opinions on everybody and who are you close with?

A: For the most part, yeah, I'd say I do. Mike's still an ass, but I don't let it bother me anymore. We don't even see each other that much, he's always off hanging with El. Don't know much about her yet, apart from what I've heard from others. Dustin has stopped acting strange, thank god. Now we're even well back into a friendly, uh *smiles and clears throat* "competition" for top score on Dig Dug. Lucas, my beloved stalker, continues to baffle me. I never know if I'm his girlfriend or "one of the guys" with how he treats me sometimes, it's exhausting. He'll surprise me one moment and pick me some flowers, and the next he's challenging me to a burping contest. And yet, against all odds, I find it strangely charming. He's a total buttmunch, but he's my buttmunch. And Y/n remains to this day, my closest friend. Probably would have given up on this whole group a long time ago if it hadn't been for her. She comes over a lot, and I hang out at her place too. And because of her, I've actually gotten the chance to know Will some more. He seems alright, way more laid back than the rest of the party which is a bit of a relief. I can see why they get along.

Jonathan Byers:

Q: You ROCK! What was your first reaction when you first met Y/n?

A: uh, thanks...! Well, I guess I had this idea of her in my head before I actually met her. Even then Will was talking about her all the time. I guess back then I figured it was just some girl my brother had a crush on, and I hate to say it now but at the time I assumed she was just some girl that would barely give him any second thought. Will's a good kid, but he used to have such a hard time making friends. Decent ones I mean, until he met Mike and everybody else. Including her. First time she came over, she was super nice and kinda shy at first. She kinda reminded me of Will in some ways, and she seemed to care about him just as much. Nowadays, I'm really thankful he has her looking out for him, and vice versa. I've never admitted it before but frankly, out of all my brother's friends, she's definitely my favorite.
