❛ NOZEL SILVA
He already knows that my love is fire.

Y/N'S POINT OF VIEW

I timidly looked at the shining ring on my right hand, symbolizing my marriage with the Silver Eagles' Squad Captain, Nozel Silva. We're just newlyweds, which happened a month ago. I love him so much and words aren't enough how much I can greatly describe it but right after our honeymoon, he stuck himself on paper works again.

I am getting worried about his health and all, especially when he's staying up late just to finish his reports. Then the next day, he'll go out for a mission. I don't think he even sleeps! He'll just stop by our room to kiss me goodbye before flying off. Of course, I'm always here to support him in all of his missions and decisions in life, but sometimes I feel like I'm getting ignored and it's getting me annoyed.

After going back from after a one whole week job, his butt is glued on his swivel chair inside his office again.

I softly knocked on his door, thrice. "Nozel? Can I come in?"

I heard a sigh. "Yes, love. Suit yourself."

Turning the doorknob, his back is facing me and his eyes are nailed on the pile of papers in front of him. I brought down his freshly prepared meal on the table, making him stop from writing.

"Oh, yeah, breakfast," He scoffed as I sat across him.

"You didn't eat your dinner last night," I cooed. "Did you even sleep?"

He shook his head. "Need to finish these."

Dark circles are getting evident under his eyes and his skin looked paler than ever. His braid is the only thing in him that is currently neat. I bet he didn't take his shower last night too. Taking a very deep breath, I stood up before placing myself at his back, massaging it.

"Why don't you take a rest for a while?" I whispered. "Look at yourself, Nozel."

"Love," He caught my hands, stopping me from relaxing the hell out of his body. "I'm busy. Please."

He tried to sound calm but there's a hint of irritation on it. On the other hand, I don't want to start an argument so I just nodded before whispering sweet words in his ear again as I finally left his office. Well, that's just the start.

Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. It's still our daily routine, I'll prepare breakfast for Nozel, cheer him up like I usually do, before focusing my attention on other stuff. He's totally ignoring me. I'm used to this attitude of Nozel before, even if we're not yet married, he's always prioritizing his job over me.

It's fine with me, obviously, but this time, it's different. I'm his wife. He's supposed to at least, think about our future? We're both damn rich, what's more to worry about? We can start a family and he can focus on me, yet—ugh, it's just hard to say.

"No—"

When he passed by me, Solid walking beside him while telling about what more paper works to finish, he didn't even bother to bat an eye at me.

"—zel." Wow, I'm your wife, not a potato. Don't ignore me!

Irritation built inside me as turned my hands into fists. He's going way too far out the line. Nozel and I need to talk about this matter.

Not bothering to knock on his door, I kicked it open, slamming it shut afterward. Stomping my feet towards in front of him, I harshly grabbed the paper and ball pen he was using. His eyebrows furrowed, obviously surprised by my sudden outburst. He looked at me, totally irritated and annoyed but I chose to fight his stares.

"Y/N," He massaged his forehead. "What the hell?"

"Don't 'What the hell' me, Nozel. How could you ignore me this morning?!" I shouted at him.

"I, what?"

I scoffed. "Wow, see? You can't even feel my presence anymore." I hid the papers I'm holding behind me as I slammed my free hand on his desk.

"File a leave today, Nozel."

"What?! Why?! Y/N, I'm super busy. I don't have time for—"

"You always say that! You don't have time for me and you don't want to look like you're slacking off but for Pete's sake, I'm your wife. At least, try showing me some affection!"

He stayed silent, eyes wide while listening to my complaints.

"Take me back to the time wherein you still feel my presence, when you're still missing me every time I went out for too long missions. Nozel, I need you! Your wife needs you so much but it feels like these damn paper things are much more important to you. Get over with that attitude of yours, I'm not your girlfriend anymore. We're married, Nozel. Focus on me and our future!"

Deep in my bones, I can feel you
Take me back to a time when we knew.

A tear escaped my eye as I felt his warm embrace around me. I closed my eyes as I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

"I'm sorry, love. Say you'll never let me go." Who am I let go of this man?! He's the most precious thing that God ever gave me.

He already knows that my love is fire.
His heart was a stone, but then his hands roam.

He caressed my back. "I'm really sorry. Fine, I'll file a leave for a week."

I blinked twice. "R-Really?!"

"Yes, love. For you."

Get drunk on the good life.

I'll take you to paradise.

I jumped happily before letting go of his hug. "I can finally spend time with my husband!"

"You're very adorable, Y/N." He chuckled before catching me off guard again by placing his strong pair of arms around my waist before giving me a long, passionate kiss.

"Can I request something?"

I hummed. "Let me hear it."

"I want to have kids," He smirked as I gulped, madly blushing before looking away. He's so blunt and straight forward!

"Can we make one tonight?"
