Sora grit his teeth, heading into defense. When she stopped mid-sentence, soft, inaudible cracks could be heard immediately. One at a time, tiny iridescent pieces of tempered glass began to crumble and fall. A tiny trail of hot red liquid found their way flowing down the girl's fingertips.

"Cut it out! You always do this when you're angry!" he exclaimed, grabbing her hands in the air to prevent her from doing anything else. "Just accept that you can't move to Tokyo because you didn't want to leave girl-dude alone in Kagoshima!"
