charlotte had never been into labels. kooks and pogues? it was all a load of bullshit. she had never cared who she hung out with as long as they were decent people. which is why she often found herself with the group who identify as the "pogues."

charlotte never grew up poor, but she also never grew up rich. her parents owned a home on the cut that they cleaned up and renovated to their liking as soon as they got married. so she was practically around the pogues enough. it wasn't until a boating accident her parents were involved in when she moved to the figure eight to live full time with her grandparents.

the henry's had kicked out vanessa henry when she was eighteen and pregnant with charlotte. they cut contact off with vanessa and riker indefinitely and had never spoken to the three since. that was until the accident, being the only family left dale and iris had to take charlotte in.

now charlotte is balancing her new life at the kook academy with her old one back on the cut.
