Prologue

IT WAS RUMORED AMONG THE HUMANS, that the sirens were the demons of the earth. That we were created to kill sailors, first we seduce them and then drown them and finally be our dinner.

What a big lie. I didn't even like the taste of it, it tasted bitter and pure alcohol.

Among the waters of Seoul, Korea. They threatened each other to leave their place thanks to the storm that was there. The people there had to flee, including me.

I did not know how much I had swum and how far I had been from my home. I recently accidentally walked away from my coven so I had to continue on my own, not knowing where I was going.

I decided to explore the waters, you could tell that the humans around here were pretty filthy. I found everything from an oval thing to a blanket that had fallen in love with my fin; once I was able to shake it off, I continued my exploration.

Between two rocks I found something shiny, I grabbed it and I found a rope that was holding a golden starfish. I tapped it with my index finger to move it, but it never did.

I decided to keep it. I swam to the surface to appreciate the starry sky, I loved doing that.

I felt a strange tingling run through my body, the sea moved me as if it were trying to wake me up to what I agree to.

I felt my naked body and a chilling cold invaded it. When I opened my eyes, I was surprised that my precious golden fin had disappeared and had left me some strange short things.

When I opened my left hand I noticed that in it rested that strange thing that I had found.

When trying to get up I fell, I had never used my legs since I never had. After several attempts I managed to walk; I put all my attention to what was around me, on my left side was the bright sea where it whispered to me to submerse myself in it, and on my right side, there were large things full of green leaves. On that last side, I felt a great attraction which made me venture into it.

I hugged myself to be able to turn off the cold I had, I tried to make sure that my medium-breasts were covered by my hair in case some human approached me; I walked and walked until I reached a path, which I decided to cross without looking to the sides.

Serious mistake.

I felt a great impact crash against my body and then land on the cold ground. My eyes collided with golds that looked worried and scared.

Holy Poseidon, do not see my intimate part or my breasts.

The nice, handsome boy took off his jacket and covered me with it, then I got into his car. It's the only thing I remember.
