CORAZON CECELIA SALVADOR; A woman born in the Philippines in 1924 during the American Colonization.

Born into a wealthy family that gave her the privilege to access education and study at a university, learning English and Spanish is mandatory because the Spaniards also colonized the Philippines for over 333 years.

After universities were closed because of Japan's attacks, Corazon was planning to go home to her province in 1942, as many women's disappearances, forceful attacks, and abductions were because of the Japanese soldiers, and she was one of them.

Being a comfort woman, also called military comfort woman, is a Japanese jūgun ianfu, a euphemism for women who provided sexual services to Japanese Imperial Army troops during Japan's militaristic period that ended with World War II and who generally lived under conditions of sexual slavery.

A year. It was a year of suffering, agony, and confinement in the closed doors of the red house in San Ildefonso, Bulacan, until a Japanese soldier, a vampire, helped her escape and changed her into the creature of the night in 1943 at the age of 19.

Corazon earned the reputation and title of being called The Red Lady of the North because of her revenge, killing almost half the number of Japanese soldiers that resided in the Japanese military base and successfully driving them away from the country.
Japan colonized the Philippines for three years, and without the Red Lady of the North, it would've lasted longer. As the last of the American soldiers shipped and sailed off for home, she joined them, leaving her beloved family and motherland behind.

Meeting a pixie-haired vampire in a bus stop with a trailing honey-blonde vampire and a revelation of another way of living her immortal life, she took upon Alice's offer and joined her. In 1950, Corazon, Alice, and Jasper joined the Cullen Coven. She is still adjusting to the life of immortality, but with the help of her new family, she's slowly coming to terms with living life for eternity.

All that's left is dealing with the horrors that she left behind that continue to follow her every waking moment, healing the memories of the past while preserving the history that she has lived through, and remembering and honoring her roots while staying in a foreign land.

I will admit that I do read books with smut. However, I do not feel comfortable whatsoever writing one, so if you added this story to your library and expect those kinds of scenes, you're in for a disappointment, darling, because I don't write those, and I never will.

And I know I made a lot of sexual references and built-up sexual tension between some of my characters, and that's a normal emotion to feel between them because they are a couple. They do it now and then like any other people that are ready to do it.

━━ They have skin color, none of that venom shit that removes the melatonin in their body that makes them chalky white. They are all just so fucking gorgeous, the inhumane kind that you couldn't help but be attracted to them cause the vampire luring thing. (basically like TVD vamps, lol)

━━ They can taste food, the taste is even enhanced but they can't digest it. (Emmett takes advantage of that often.) I gotta make them taste Filipino food.😩

━━ Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, Carlisle, and Esme have more personalities than what is given to them. Rosalie isn't just a woman with a tragic background who hates her entire existence. Emmett isn't just a man for comic relief. Alice isn't just a woman who saves their asses all the time. Carlisle isn't just a man who tolerates Edward's behavior. Esme isn't just a woman who is treated like a literal maid for all of them.

━━ Edward bashing a bit, but it's understandable as the story progresses. It isn't hardcore Edward hate, just a reality check. (He's so annoying in Midnight Sun, honestly)

━━ Jasper isn't a C*nfed*rate cause what the fuck does it add to his character? Being a racist? That's not a good character trait. Some author reasons that they keep that background of his as some redemption arc that he regrets over, but darling, bad news, HE DOESN'T REGRET IT AT ALL. He's so proud that he's the youngest major in the c*nfed*racy when he tells Bella in the books.

━━ The twilight plot protects Bella's character. I'm sorry, but Bella will exist in this fic. LOL.

━━ I will tackle religion heavily as a Filipino myself, and based on experience, religion is something that has heavily influenced my life and generally Filipino's lives. (I'm not a hardcore Christian, so don't worry. I'm not homophobic, racist, and use the bible and Jesus to be fucking rude)
