𝑪𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑴𝑬 𝑶𝑩𝑺𝑬𝑺𝑺𝑬𝑫. 𝑪𝑨𝑳𝑳 𝑴𝑬 𝑨 𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑳𝑲𝑬𝑹 but I couldn't just walk out of Bella's life. She was making me smile and laugh and I just liked that. No woman has made me smile like an idiot just by thinking of them. I don't know if I hate it or like it deep down. 

I sighed rubbing my forehead. "Dude can you focus here. We have an important meeting with the Smiths." Zain said. "In a week. We have plenty time to prepare for that." I muttered. "Are you sick? You always like preparing a week earlier or even a month." He frowned.

"It's not a big deal Zain." I said rolling my eyes playfully. "Whatever." He muttered. I walked out of the office and saw Sam talking on the phone.

When he finished I walked his way. "Hey bro." I said. "Hey." He said smiling. "What's up? What happened with the results?" I asked. "The doctor said there's no problem. I mean me and Melanie can have kids. It's just a little hard for Melanie. She's stressing and stuff that's not helping." He sighed and I nodded.

"But hey.. I'm glad everything's fine. And it will get better trust me. Have Faith bro." I said patting his back. "Yeah. Thanks man." He chucked. "Always." I grinned. "Now I'll see you later." I said as I walked off.

I drove towards Bella's house but before I stopped at the coffee shop that was pretty close to her house. I bought her a Jasmine tea and waited for her to come down.

I've no idea how me the Nicola De Luca is doing these cliche stuff. A woman was actually bringing me on my knees from the very first meeting. This is not going to end well. Just a note to myself. 

 "Good morning." I said smiling at Bella once she walked out of the elevator. She chuckled and shook her head playfully.

"Good morning Nicola." She smiled. God my name never sounded so good before.

"Ready to go?" I asked. "Of course." She said and I handed her her tea then started walking. Even though it was pretty cold I noticed Bella preferred walking. Well she didn't have a car but she doesn't want me to drive her at work so I guess she enjoys walking.

"So how was your girls night with your friend?" I asked. "Ohh it was amazing. Irina always knows how to plan a girls night." She chuckled. I smiled softly and nodded.

I loved hearing about her day. About her life in general. And whoever knows me knows that I hate when people tell me about their day. So what the hell am I doing right now?

Man I'm fucked.

Nah you're whipped.

We talked a little about our days and then we arrived at the hospital. "I guess that's it." I said. "Yeah." Bella smiled. "Have fun at work." I said and she laughed softly. "Fun? Okay yeah." She said. "You know what I mean." I chuckled.

"Thanks Nicola." She smiled and walked off. "You're welcome Issie." I said even though she was already gone.

I walked away and just then my phone rang. I sighed and answered it. "What?" I asked while walking.

"Nico you have to come over. We caught someone." Zain said causing me to groan. "Not again. Fine I'll be there in a few." I said and ended the call.

I got in my car and drove towards the old factory. As fast as I arrived I got out of the car and made my way inside taking the jacket off. I rolled my shirt up and looked at Zayn. "What is it now? What was he doing?" I asked looking at the guy that was tied on a chair.

"He's River's killer." Zain said causing me to clench my jaw. "What?" I said gritting my teeth. "We had found info while you were at the hospital. It took me a while to track him down but I finally did." He said and I nodded.

"I'll take it from here." I smirked. "Antonio Russo." Nicholas said pointing at the guy. "His name." He added. "Ohh you're Russos younger son huh?" I smirked. "Well too bad buddy." I said punching him. He groaned and I kept hitting him.

River was one of the security kids. He was just like a brother to me. A little brother. I was suppose to protect him but of course this fucker had to ruin it. He took away River and now he'll be going to hell.

I kept hitting him till Alexander pulled me away. "Okay dude breathe." He said since I was breathing heavily. I couldn't control it. I wanted him dead. "Give me your knife." I said looking at Sam. "Sam give me your fucking knife." I said and he sighed handing me his knife.

"You know my father will come after you." Antonio said. "He can suck my dick." I mumbled and untied his hands.

"Oh fuck no this is about to get nasty. Again." Vince said. I slammed Antonio's left hand on the desk that was in front of us and smirked. "Dude.." Zain said but it was late. Antonio screamed in pain as his finger fell. "Was River screaming like that too? Huh? When you killed him. Motherfucker." I gritted my teeth and took my gun out.

"See you in hell Antonio Russo." I smirked and shoot him in between his eyes causing him to fall on the ground dead.

I breathed heavily and walked out of the building rubbing my chest. "Nico? Hey you okay dude?" Zain asked causing me to nod. "I'm good." I said and sighed. "You don't look good man. Go home." He said. "I'll stay at my penthouse tonight. Tell mum I'm not coming for dinner." I said and got in my car driving off before Zain could say anything.

I arrived in my penthouse in no time and pulled over. I took the elevator and seconds later the elevator doors opened and I walked out. I unlocked the door to my penthouse and walked in slamming the door shut.

I unbuttoned my shirt and walked upstairs throwing it in the bin.

I then had a shower and when I was done I wrapped a towel around my waist. I looked at myself through the mirror and breathed heavily. "River died because of you." I whispered. "Because of you Nico." A voice in my head said.

You're the reason he died. He was a young dude and because of you he died and never accomplished his dreams.

"UGHHHHHH." I punched the mirror causing it to break in million pieces. I breathed heavily as the blood dripped down on the floor. I washed my hand but the bleeding didn't really stop. I got dressed and just grabbed the car keys and left.

I had to take my mind of off things. I started driving and of course I found myself in front of the hospital where Bella works. I stepped out of the car and grabbed a cigarette. After lighting it up I started smoking.

Sometimes I wish I could forget about all the bad things that have happened. But sadly that's not possible. I was never prepared for what was about to come. 

"Nico?" I turned and my eyes locked with Bella's. Screw that it's possible. Every time I look in her eyes I forget all about the world. I forget about who I am. And where I came from. 

That's weird I know.

"Hey." I smiled throwing the cigarette away. She was about to say something but her eyes went down on my knuckles that had blood on them.

"What happened to you?" She asked grabbing my hand in hers softly. I licked my lips and looked down at her. "Just a little accident it's not a big deal don't worry." I said. "Come on." She said and grabbed my wrist softly dragging me in the hospital. I didn't want to fight her on this. 

Maybe because I just wanted to be wherever she was. God I sound so obsessive. 

We walked in a room and she started cleaning and taking care of my injury. I smiled softly at how caring she was. No woman has ever took care of me like that. Maybe no woman ever saw me differently. Like she was seeing me. 

"How did this even happen?" She asked. "I already told you it's not a big deal." I said. After Bella was done she sat on the bed next to me. "How come you always get yourself in trouble and get yourself at the emergency." Bella said tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.

I smiled lazily and lifted a shoulder. "I don't know. Guess it's a good chance to see you though." I said. "Oh shut up." She chuckled and tried to hide her pink cheeks from me. "Thank you though." I said holding my hand up. "You're welcome. And next time be more careful." She said pushing herself off the bed.

"No promises." I chuckled and followed her. We walked outside and I opened the car door for Bella. It was pretty cold now at night.

"Thank you." She smiled and I gave her a smile too before closing the door and getting in the car. We put our seat belts on and I started driving. "How was work?" I asked. "Like everyday. Tiring, hard." She sighed softly.

"Is there a problem? Is something bothering you?" I asked glancing at her then back at the road. "It's just a lot..." she chuckled sadly.

Damn I wish I could take her problems away.

I pulled over causing Bella to frown. "Where are we?" She asked looking around. "Come on don't be scared just follow me." I said getting out of the car. Bella got out of the car too and looked at me. "Come on bellezza walk." I chuckled as I walked towards a coffee shop.

"Nico why are we here?" She sighed as she tried to catch up with me. She suddenly let a small scream and almost fell causing me to catch her. "Careful now doc. We don't want you falling... yet." I smirked causing her to roll her eyes playfully. "Ha ha." She said. "Thank you though." She said and I chuckled shaking my head.

I opened the door to the coffee shop and allowed Bella to walk in first. I then walked up the stairs and we found ourselves in the balcony.

"Oh wow." I heard Bella say softly. I smiled and she turned at me. "How have I never seen this place? It's near my freaking apartment." She said excited.

"Yeah. I randomly found it now to be honest." I said truthfully scratching the back of my neck. Bella laughed and shook her head as we took our seats. We ordered then Bella looked around.

"This is not a date Mr De Luca." She said pointing at me. I chuckled and shook my head. "It's not a date. I can do better for first dates this is nothing." I said causing her to roll her eyes playfully.

Our orders came and Bella took a sip of her hot chocolate and smiled. "So what's bothering you? You can tell me I'm all ears. And we have as much time as you want." I said causing her to smile. "How am I suppose to tell you, a stranger about what's bothering me?" She raised an eyebrow and I groaned.

"We're not strangers anymore. I'm Nic nice to meet you." I said grabbing her hand softly shaking it. She giggled cutely causing me to smile. "Okay okay." She sighed and looked away. "I mean it's better if I just tell someone or else I'll go crazy." She chuckled softly.

"I have a patient at the hospital. Her name is Elsa and she's sixteen. She has lung cancer and she's really sick. She wants to go out and have a fun day outside and I promised I'll talk with the medical director and ask for permission but he said no.." she said sadly looking down.

Angel. That's what she is. A freaking Angel and I'm just a demon that should stay away but I can't. And I won't. Even though it's selfish as fuck.

"Hey don't worry. I'm sure you'll find a way to make her happy. Trust me." I smiled and she smiled softly and nodded. "Anyways enough about me. I'm always the only one that talks. You never say anything." She said before taking a sip of her drink.

"What can I say? I mean I like listening about you. Your life. If you wanna know more about me then we should go on a date." I grinned. "Oh here we go again." She laughed.

I had a great time with Bella. And it wasn't even a date. We were now in front of the building she stayed and I looked at her. "Thank you for tonight. I really needed that." She smiled. "You're welcome." I said and she smiled and leaned in kissing my cheek.

I was taken by surprise. I looked at her but she shyly walked away after saying a quick goodnight. I smiled to myself and grinned. "Goodnight Issie." I smiled even though she was already gone.

Before driving home I drove at the hospital Bella works. I knocked on the medical directors door and after he said a faint come in I walked in closing the door behind. "Mr De Luca." He said standing up. "Sit." I said as I also took a seat.

"I came to talk to you about something. Isabella Ricci asked you today to give her permission to take one of her patients Elsa out for a few hours." I said looking at him. "Yeah." He said waiting for me to continue.

"I want you to call her tomorrow and tell her you changed your mind. You're letting her take Elsa for a day." I said standing up. Thomas also stood up and nodded. "Yes sir." He said and I nodded. "Okay good. Goodnight." I said before walking out of his office.

I won't allow anyone to put a frown on her face. Ever.
