       ❝SHE'S BREAKING HER coachell-ginity! oh my gosh, okay so... i know where everything is. follow me," tinecia enthuses and pulls the group of girls around.

all four girls — tinecia, suminar, isabella and wei — had been working their asses off recently. tinecia had been travelling and content creating, wei had just been offered a job as a forensic scientist (so early on too, we love a brainy bitch) and isabella had just finished all her fall/winter paris fashion week shows. and suminar was preparing for paris haute couture week. like she was gonna be walking on a runway.

she'd much rather watch her favourite singers perform instead of dwelling on the nerve-wracking moment any longer though. speaking of which, they were walking to the stage kevin abstract was performing, since there was talk dominic was probably going to get brought out.

"you got your walk down?" wei jokingly asks and suminar rolls her eyes in monotony, making her giggle a little bit. regardless, she gets her phone out to show her videos of her practicing her walk.

"you look good!"

"i look constipated," she corrects, watching the video again, "imagine i get branded as one of those models that gives absolutely nothing."

wei gasps, covering her mouth with her hand. "like kendall jenner. no no no no, you're nothing like that. fuck, could you imagine? they rip that lil' brainless nepo bird to shreds."

she decides to stop talking when she notices her bestfriend's face, eyebrows furrowed with panic. she quickly apologises, taking her phone from her and shutting it to sleep before giving it back to her.

"sorry i even brought this up, okay? let's- stop worrying about high-end fashion shows. we can... listen to sabrina carpenter and get a little drunk while doing so! maybe try a bit of lsd," she enthuses and suminar deadpans her in response.

"bitch this is not 1988."

wei kisses her teeth and links arms with her as they continue their walk to the tent, leaning in slightly to mumble, "everybody's got anything if you ask hard enough."

they approach the correct tent and suminar is slightly too excited to see dominic perform. it felt a little torturous not seeing him for so long, especially since they'd been a little too busy to stay on facetime for hours like usual. she was just buzzing with excitement she could see him now, performing at that.

"i love being friends with celebrities. look at us in the vip section," tinecia gushes, looking around before her eyes are focused on a particular spot, "wait, sumi'. let me take some pictures of you."

the crowd was very responsive, and dominic did what he always knew how to do — put on a good fucking show. after copious amounts of screaming along and applause, suminar waited in anticipation for him to walk to the tent.

"everyone's been bringing out someone it seems. first tems bringing out justin and wizkid now this," tinecia mumbles to isabella, who was under her arm.
"yup. and justin was worshipping that ass. could never blame him though," she responds and they both snicker.

"there she is. there's my fuckin' angel," dominic says proudly as suminar came skipping over to him. he picks her up as they hug, spinning her around also. a very affectionate and passionate kiss is shared between them soon after, and dominic has to stop his hands from wandering too much.

"i missed you. you bodied that shit."

"thankyou. and i missed you. look at how beautiful you are, how could i not miss seeing you?" he speaks against her neck, pressing another kiss there, "goddamn."

she can't help but smile and be giddy, sharply pulling back so he would stop and she could smack him atop the head. he yelps out in pain, rubbing the spot in slight pain. "Jesus, babe. the fuck was that for?"

she gets out her phone and goes to her recent post, pulling up the comments. specifically, the ones he'd been replying to with not a single ounce of mercy like he just wasn't famous anymore.

"you do realise you have a public image, right? i like that you relish in defending my honour, dom, makes me feel like i'm in bridgerton or some shit but- you are still famous. watch your mouth. on instagram, specifically," she informs him but he's already ready to argue back.

"once they watch theirs. i don't care about that public image shit. as much as i know you're tryna look out for me, i never gave a fuck about that. what i do give a fuck about is some weird ass motherfucker thinking it's cool to talk about you like you're a lifeless piece of meat. you're dealing with a jealous guy. jealous felon, might i add."

she tries not to smile giddily at the way she's being spoken about, though she was certain dominic could see in her eyes how much she was loving this side of him come out.

"idiot."

he clicks his tongue against his teeth three times, quickly answering her, "nope. i have full knowledge of what i'm doing, thankyou."

she scoffs a little but her arms still wrap around her neck as she attentively lets her eyes dance across every single feature. taking mental pictures so she won't have to feel the ache she felt when they were apart for so long the last time.

his hair was getting long. and shaggy. and without anything going on. those very round amber eyes of his, often quite bright, seemed a little more dull than usual. making her get the indication he was tired.

it's not like he didn't seem happy to see her. he was happy to see her but... oh, she didn't want to do this. not when she hadn't seen him for a while.

"you good, baby?" the question snaps her out of her reverie, as well as his hands running up and down her sides. quickly, she nods and flashes him a smile. since he loved to see her smile, he almost completely forgot about her staring and stole another kiss from her.

"so... how's the walk coming along? i keep watching the videos you sent me, i think you're gonna be—"

she groans aloud, throwing her head back in annoyance at yet another question about modelling. he does initially chuckle lightly at what she just does but eventually catches on, shutting his mouth.

"she would not like to talk about modelling."

she shakes her head, frowning lightly as her eyes were closed. "no, she would not."

he laughs again and she does so with him slightly, saying, "i just... came here to forget about that whirlwind of a job opportunity which included seeing you. when we're back at yours is when i'll talk your ear off about it."

dominic's eyebrows furrow, almost as if he was confused and... repulsed by that idea? he pulls her in just a little closer, any more and their bodies would be flush against eachother. she feels the heat rise in her cheeks — she was so often so flustered and heated by this man yet it caught her off guard everytime it occurred.

"we're... just talking when we get to my place?" he asks quietly, giving her body the once over and when she locks eyes with him she can spot the mischief in them. good God almighty, this man was like a rabbit.

she looks at him with narrowed eyes, fingers interlocking as they stay in position around his neck. she ignored his lustful glances on her body, as hot as they were, because she wanted to know what that head of his was thinking.

"forgive me, sumi', it's just the first thing that came to mind was how it's almost physically impossible for me to engage in an actual conversation without being rude and not responding. seeing as though you're quite literally gonna be sat on my face—"

a hand is very quickly clasped over his mouth when tinecia, isabella and wei come over. the first thing they do is stare oddly at them both and the position they were in but don't exactly question.

"and the world is finally at peace," wei comments, pointing at dominic's covered mouth, "no but really- we're going to get food in ten minutes, then we're going back to the main stage. you coming with?"

suminar nods frantically, keeping a tight grin plastered across her lips. after one more look between them, they walk off. making dominic lick her hand to get her to finally pull away (she does smack him on the arm for that, though).

"you're not funny. seriously," she scolds him, wiping her slightly wet palm on the sleeve of his jacket.

one hand leaves her waist to run her thumb down her bottom lip, making her register the fact that her mouth was turned upwards a little.
"what's that smirk on your face for then, huh?" he questions lowly and it only grows larger once it's pointed out.

"uh huh, i'm funny," he pecks her lips, pulling back from her to grab her hand so they could catch up with their friends, "hilarious, even."

her face is back to normal almost immediately when she's called out, begrudgingly walking beside him with her hand in his, but not without muttering 'asshole' underneath her breath.
